These guys know their outboard motors. Dont let the store front turn you away. I have used Robinsdale Marine before and the results have all been excellent. I have an older 5.5hp Evinrude that was only getting about 1/2 throttle when in gear. They identified the blown head gasket and although they had a backlog of work, turned it around in 1 week and at a fair price. The tech even took the time to explain the diagnostic approach be took and the work he completed.

Dont dare take anything Echo brand here, I was turned away at the door. I was hoping to get a new spark plug/fuel filter check before I replaced a carburetor on my ES210 blower, but they told me to go to Home Depot for Echo brand service. Even if they didnt have replacement parts, I thought they could do a diagnosis (being experts in small engines), but that wasnt the case. Stick to their preferred brands and based on the reviews, they do a nice job.

The young guy behind the counter was excellent. Super helpful and knew exactly the problem was once I told him the symptoms I was having with my lawn mower. He sold me a bearing for my self propel assembly, I took the assembly home and reinstalled it, and my mower is back in operation. Thanks so much. This is why I drive 45 miuutes to do business with these guys. They know their stuff and their prices are fair. Highly recommend this business!

Dropped two 15 hp outboards on monday, got a call that they were done the next evening, talk about great turn around. Also the staff was very friendly and helpful. Last thing shop rate I believe was 95 an hr for outboard work 85 for mowers.

Asked how far out they were on lawn mower tune ups, told me to bring mower in next day. Dropped mower off called back at 4pm and they said it would be weeks, not days. Also, for those of you concerned with your safety THEY ARE NOT PRACTICING ANY SAFETY OR SOCIAL DISTANCING DURING COVID-19!! Would not recommend.

Long time staple of the Robbinsdale area. Super knowledgeable guys of all things small engine and marine. Very quick service considering how busy they always are. They would never gouge you either, and are pretty open about telling whether or not it is worth repairing whatever youre bringing in.

They usually have the parts I need in stock and if not they are quick to order them for me with minimal downtime.They have even dug thru boxes of used outboard parts to help me save a few bucks if they had what I needed.Great at answering repair questions as well!

Have taken a lawn mower and snow blower there and they work better than ever. Snow blower needed an ignition module that was about $100 from the maker but they were able to get an equivalent (from the engine maker) for 1/3 the cost.Definitely recommend them when friends ask.

Great Place!!!! Took my 1989 Johnson 90hp that was not running right. Drop it off in the morning and by 1:00pm it was done. The motor now runs great.

Robbinsdale Marine has been my go-to operation for lawnmower and snowblower upkeep and repairs since the mid-nineties. This week they came and picked up my snowblower, tuned it up, adjusted the forward and reverse speeds and brought it back all within 2 days. They dont try to sell you things you dont need. Give them a chance, they wont let you down.

Very rarely do you find a go-to place for service; Robbinsdale Marine is fast, reasonable and thorough in their services. Having done business with them over 35 years I have never been disappointed.

We needed to get our trailer fixed because the tongue got damaged. Brought in the trailer and received a quote. They had a replacement tongue with a wheel in stock and they gave me a recommended fix. They fixed it within 3 hours and charged me $20 less than what they quoted. They even repainted and touched up some of the scrapes. Will bring my stuff here from now on. Great experience!

Had my 72 65 hp Johnson in for tune up, they said no spark dont waste time trying to fix no po arts avail. So trusting them I sold old boat and motor cheap trusting mechanic. Guy I sold it to replaced one wire neutral safety switch and runs great! The guy that worked on my motor clearly didnt know much or was to lazy to try to fix it now Im out my boat! Dont go here they are hacks!

I have a 2001 Johnson 150 that has run awful the whole time Ive owned it. Previous owner told me it sat for a year before I bought it, so I expected the Carbs to be all gummed up. This year it wouldnt start when I went to winterize it. Called around and every shop said drop it off and well get to it soon. Except Robbinsdale Marine. They told me to bring it in at 8:30 and Id get it back same day. Brought it in to them and they found it had the wrong spark plugs. They adjusted it, put in new plugs and it runs like Ive always thought it should. Plus they were less than half the cost of the other shops.

Brought in a 1999 non running Toro lawnmower. Very knowledgeable staff and got my mower running like new. They are my new go to business.

I brought my snowblower in for repairs, thinking I had a drive problem. They identifier a broken shear pin, corrected it and gave me a second pin for $5.00 total. great guys who treated me honestly. I will go back to them again.

Had our Weed Wacker in last year and they charged 150.00 to replace the Gas Lines. Used it twice last year brought it to them today and they had the receipt with the date and everything on it they said sorry we have to charge you again! No thanks whta kind of service is that???? BS...We could have bought a NEW ONE for that price and they wont fix it even at a discount. Do NOT RECOMMEND

Brought my snow blower in for an estimate on some repairs. 1 month later I get a call saying “if the work is done, it will be $600”. So I called to get a breakdown on the $600 estimate...the only answer I received was “there’s a lot of stuff that needs to be done”...we also went over the prices and the total didn’t even come close to $600. These guys are crooks. Stay away!!

Lousy and threatening service. Went to get an ice auger fixed. Owner wanted to see the name of it. Told him its out in my truck. At that time two women came in about a lawn mower. Owner left me for them. I voiced my concern and he just hollered at me. I left then called to file a complaint and I got the same guy who told me he owns the place. Then he told me to go exlitive myself. Not much of a man. I will never bring anything to this place ever and my hope is that all follow my lead. By the way three years ago I spent 1500.00 on a boat motor repair there and the motor still never ran well. Terrible service, tough people only on the phone and very poor work.!!!

I needed a couple gaskets for the carburetor of a Briggs and Stratton motor and Robinsdale Marine was near a jobsite I was working. When I asked the service tech for the gaskets, he recommended a carb rebuild kit instead for the cost value. I agreed, and the tech then proceeded to replace the float seat gasket for me for free, which saved me the headache of doing it or not at all. He also gave me a few tips on what to replace using the rebuild kit and loosened a sticking throttle valve shaft for me too! So overall, Robinsdale Marine was a surprise in an unexpected level of customer service you just dont receive very often. Id recommend them for any small engine need, after just one visit.

I have done business with you for many years when coast to coast was there andI will no longer be coming in . If you cant take the time to provide customer service ,you shouldnt be in business.....
