As a Caucasian person I felt a bit unwelcomed yesterday at the store which was much different from my first experience. As there was obviously some confusion at the register and the cashiers were just absolutely silent.. not even a “how are you” they didn’t even attempt to communicate with me. And yes, they were fully capable. When I did speak to them the woman just had a rude look on her face and would respond with silence. Remember to treat people the way you want to be treated, especially when you’re at work. I purchased a 10 pound pork shoulder and a pound of meat and a bunch of produce! Initially I was really excited about this market but I’m not sure if I continue to patronize it after that experience.I brought my own bags because I was trying to be mindful of the environment and when I approached the register I was told they “weren’t able to touch my bag “even though they were wearing gloves and it’s literally a canvas grocery bag. You’re coming into contact with my money, my form of payment so saying that you can’t take groceries I’m buying from your store out of a bag doesn’t make any sense, my bag is the same thing as the bag in the store. I’m touching both and the cashier will be touching both. If you’re going to make rules like these you need to use logic as well. If that wasn’t a pain enough, the girl wanted me to put everything on the dirty conveyor belt. Then I received attitude and impatience because I wanted to bag everything up separately for them to weigh. She made me feel uncomfortable saying that I wouldn’t be able to bag things up at the register in the future, but maybe if she took the time to communicate with me she would’ve understood that I was trying to be helpful, and there was absolutely no signage around the store that said you couldn’t use your own bags. Obviously it’s some thing I wouldn’t be doing again because employees don’t have the capacity to communicate with customers here. I actually mentioned to her that I brought the bags with me to spare the store bags she just stayed silent. I apologized, thanked her, and she just stayed silent.Spanish isn’t my first language and on multiple occasions in this establishment I’ve used the Spanish I do know to attempt to communicate, it doesn’t take much for you to make me feel comfortable and heard and respond to me. The woman I had to deal with yesterday we’re just very bad examples of the customer service I would expect at a grocery store.UPDATE: I return to the store today and was pleasantly surprised by my interaction with a cashier! She was very friendly and really turned my experience around from the last time!Therefore I have updated my review!

SuperFood Fresh Supermarket is an immaculate store. The staff is courteous and helpful. I have never been disappointed with produce from Superfood. Excellent shopping experience!

This place is great! Super clean and well organized. All of the workers are super helpful and very cautious. The cashier was so smart. Our food never touched the scale directly without a barrier. Found everything I needed! Wish this place was closer to home!

Glad it was open. Staff was helpful as always and check-out was fast. Many cashiers so much appreciated. Only negstive would be the relatively higher cost of beef and pork. Chicken is cheap on their specials.Found good deals on veggies and herbs which I was looking for to complement the turkey dinnerGood they were open on Thanksgiving day. I just hope they closed in time for employees to share dinner with their families.

Don’t go there. They watch you like a hawk like you are going to steal items even though we are constant customers. They make you feel super uncomfortable. They are rude. Avoid it at all costs. My mom lost her wallet inside the store and they refused to make an announcement to the customers. They have dumb rules. Everything is prohibited there basically. Don’t go. I eventually stopped going because of that kind of treatment from the owners and the employees. The employees seem to always be scared of the owners and managers. Must be horrible to work there.

I bought this yesterday and when I opened today this is what I found. I have never had issues in this supermarket and every week buy here. Sadly when I called they said they can’t do anything cause I didn’t save my receipt and they can’t look it up. Please make sure to always save your receipt.

We appreciate SO much all that is done here to make beautiful foods available, and safe. Sophie and her staff keep the store stocked fully, and we know that they have all worked at keeping things sanitary during this pandemic. Thank you Sophie and your staff for your extra hard work. ❤

We like the fresh baked breads. We also like the vegetables there.They have a good selection on meat in the butcher department and their pre-cuts.

I went to the place with my service dog and they didn’t allow me to get in . I had my letter on me and they don’t care . Mediocres

Highly recommend! Happy they are open long hours, and had everything I needed (even some wild and exotic fruit from my country) Go check out their produce! Definitely recommend for any and all grocery needs. Its an awesome family-run store which I love supporting. You should too!

Needed to take a moment to applaud this store and its staff. They are moving customers in and out of there as best they can. Amazingly well-stocked considering this crazy epidemic. Ive seen other food stores closed, yet here they are open for regular business hours and keeping things moving along. You still get smiles, variety of products, and great prices. Big big big shout out to this essential business! And thank you on behalf of our community!

They had everything we needed.

Loved this market. Go there in a weekly basis, lots of variety, food from all around the world. Meats, fish and deli are fresh. Could do better job with fruit and veggies but ok. Nice staff, very convenient. Need to bring more organic products.

The store is quiet big with a lot of ethnic south American groceries.

The only place you can find foods from all over the world. Fresh turmeric whats a deal-breaker. Fresh coconut milk Im blue corn tortillas. Just a small sample of the things that you will find in this store. I suggest if you go you spend a little time just to look around and bring your phone so you can translate what you cant read.

Fantastic selection of many products from central and South America as well as the Caribbean. The best fresh sofrito. Everyone is friendly and very helpful. The fresh and dry produce selection is outstanding. Many fresh ingredients for the Latino Cuisine. Always something new to explore depending on the season. Best plaintains! Today I discovered the Hawaiian plantain and OMG softer and sweet ideal for guisados or baking with pork roast or chicken.

A nice grocery store. I can find what I need almost all the time here, and I can really depend on the staff, and employees to keep the keep place clean. Unlike other near by clienteless this place is not overly crowded. Overall 5 stars!

Always super clean. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Name brand products are slightly more expensive and varieties may be limited. Butcher meat selection is always fresh, meat is plump and well priced. Latin/South American products are plentiful and fresh! Great store! Patronize it often.

I am giving it four stars because I love it here. The place is beautiful, clean and neat. Shelves are always stocked. Its airy and I just love the vibe inside. One of the days I went there, Benjamin took good care of me. I needed an aluminum tray for a batch of food I was making and he found the right size with the lid. He was friendly and helpful. Thank you! The reason I am not giving it five stars is because of the front end cashiers. Every time they rang me up, they would look across from me and chat with the cashier next to them. No hello how are you? Then, when the next customer after me gets ringed up, they greet them with enthusiasm in Spanish. Thats not very nice and its quite rude to tell you the truth. I would like to feel welcomed too, you know? I would like to have a great experience from the moment I walk through the doors to the moment of leaving the store.

Terrible customer service from the store owner or manager. Cashier was understanding of the error but couldnt make the chang . This store does not honor tag prices regardless of how many items they placed there. When I approached the store manager about an item that rang up incorrectly, she was irratic, loud and defensive. She stated that she has to pay extremely high prices to get the items during this crisis and she cant honor the tag price of the item that was increased by 3.00. I would definitely avoid coming to a store that feels they can take advantage of the crisis by not honoring their tag prices.

Nice,clean, and organized store. The meats and seafood departments have good pricing as well as good quality. The grocery selection is more limited and some items are too pricey. Dairy and produce seemed reasonably priced and ok selection. The employees have all been courteous and helpful with finding items. I have gone here a few times since it opened and will return.

First time first time customer. Im really amazed of the great prices and variety. I was extremely happy to see a store hiring people with disabilities. I will be definitely coming back thank you!

I can’t speak for everything there as I only went in for bottled water and they charged $5.19 for a 12 pack which is way over priced.

Ive only been in the store once b/c its not close to where I live but I will return. So my 5 star review is based on my first impression and only time at the store. IT was VERY clean and I really like the layout including the juice & nut section when you first walk in as well as the fruits/veggies were beautifully displayed. I like the unusual (for me) veggies to try. The meat dept and case looked so appealing, it reminded me when I was a kid and my parents would go to the local butcher shop. I am also appreciative of the great pricing for the quality of food. Like the other reviewer, I thought the check out help could have been a bit more friendly and present. Upon leaving I told Customer Service counter to tell the Manager the store looked wonderful.

Good supermarket which stocks both Spanish and American goods. Has a great deli.

This store has the BEST bananas (seriously!) and at an excellent price.They have great cold-cuts -- Boars Head and Thumanns.The meat also always looks excellent, though I, personally, dont purchase a lot of it.Its also fun to try many of the South American products available.Its a little more expensive than Shop Rite -- but it isnt as big, so what can you expect. Its still great to have a store so close to home!The only concern I have is that there is a slight smell that makes it seem . . . not as clean as it could be.If they can fix whatever it is thats causing that problem, Ill give them 4 stars! (even Wegmans doesnt rate a 5, for me!)

This is brand new place; think of it as a small Shoprite or Pathmark without the pharmacy. You can tell this place is gerared a bit towards the Latino/South American customers; but it does have a good selection of fresh vegetables and all the usual stuff from Pasta down to bath tissues and soap available.Prices are a bit higher than the chain stores but not too unreasonable; great for a quick in/out.

I bought a package of thighs and this is the skin/fat I found hiding under the thighs. I thought I was buying reasonable priced chicken... It wasnt so! I hate to think that someone is being deshonest with me. Even though I love to find foods from different countries, I prefer not to shop at your store if this is the quality you are going to offer me. It is no the first time you sold me chicken or meat with the skin/fat hiding underneath.
