BEWARE. Look at expiration dates carefully when shopping here. Got home and noticed bugs in my noodle package, looked at expiration date to find that they expired in 2016! FIVE YEARS AGO. Another item from my purchase had expired a year ago. Went back to return and the cashier would NOT recognize their wrongdoing. Will NOT be returning. Truly disgusted.

The store smells like old food, they overcharge for just about everything (a $9 Japanese facewash here is almost $17) the front door doesn’t work, and the staff is really mean.... BUT they carry items that you can’t find anywhere else in Miami. And that’s the reason while they’re still in business, and the reason you should go.My advice :Pay in cash.If something doesn’t have a sticker price on it ASK what it costs at the register. If it’s an insane price put it back.Do a mental count in your head of what everything costs before you pay (sometimes you’ll be surprised to find an extra few bucks are added to your bill..)Get a receipt. They won’t be itemized but that’s what your mental count is for.Don’t come here if you’re emotionally sensitive (not a bad thing, it’s just the staff is mean) or looking for good customer service lol

I had the absolutely worst experience in my history of Asian grocery shopping (I’m Asian and have been going to Asian grocery stores since I was able to walk). First off, the automatic door to enter was broken so you had to pry it open like some broken down garage door. Nonetheless, it’s hard times so I didn’t think much of it. I brought my girlfriend there for the first time, trying to show her the Asian grocery store mart experience. Within 5 minutes, we were looking at the frozen food section and was looking at frozen dim sum. I was curious in how to prepare it so I opened ONE fridge door to retrieve the item and read the back, and within 10 seconds, some stock guy started yelling at us in Spanish to not read the label while the freezer door was open. How am I supposed to confirm to confirm to cook something if I can’t read it? I understand not to keep the freezer door open but I was literally done reading it and about to put it back, taking a whole 10 seconds. Needless to say, we were so turned off, we put our baskets back and left. Sad that my girlfriends first experience was the worst. Saw this place had 3.9 stars and was legit, and we were planning on stocking up the apt and spend a good amount of money. Needless to say, we will never be returning and deter any of our friends or family to save them from a horrendous experience. The owner should definitely have a word with his/her staff to ensure customers don’t feel accosted ever again.

Really nice asian market with lots of personalized(individually wrapped) snacks like individual mochi, red bean cakes from a bakery, etc. Its pretty expensive, but I paid what I expected to pay for the snacks that I got and I am very satisfied because they had everything that I wanted and the flavors/ freshness are what I wanted as well :D Here are some photos, one of some of mine and my friends favorite snacks, another of the ingredients for some udon ramen stuff minus the tofu and mushrooms(I dont think we knew what we were doing, just threw stuff together and it came out delicious), and the photos of the food made with the ingredients. The last photo is of the matcha mochi ice cream and some almond milk matcha tea that we made with my friends latte foamer machine.

This store has the rudest staff I have ever experience in my life. If I could, I would report this store and give it 0 stars. I don’t usually write reviews for google but this store is so terrible i don’t recommend anyone to ever go here.First of all, the staff followed my family and I around when I was grocery shopping. My grandmother wanted to look at the newspapers and the clerk told us we shouldn’t touch things if we didn’t want to buy them in the rudest way possible.Second, we asked for the price of the pears, and after the clerk told us the price, we did not want to buy them because it was too expensive. The clerk made a side comment about us for not being able to afford expensive food and gave us dirty looks.Lastly, when we were checking out the clerk insulted me for not being cultured and not having manners. My family and I are tourists so we were slow finding change (we were not familiar with the American currency). She kept rushing us and making comments about how we are clueless. While finding change, I accidentally dropped 2 pennies on the counter and she stated how I have no manners and accused me of purposely throwing change to be rude.I have never felt more attack at a store in my life and I honestly think this store should be reported for having staff that insults customers.

Price raised during the COVID-19 time for many essential items (For instance, the rice that I used to bought was changed from $10.99 to $16.99). They ripped off price tags for many items (such as tofu) and changed the prices without any label, so I got surprised by the insane price when I checked out. Their receipt did not list names of items. Instead, every item was listed as grocery, so I could not even know which item cost how much after I paid.

I have been shopping there for more than 10 years and their prices are competitive with other local Asian markets.they are awesome much cheaper for items like fresh tofu which may cost substantially more at local American style grocery stores.it is also one-stop-shop for most of the ingredients I need to make sushi, including nori, crab stick, wasabi, Ginger and sushi rice.

If you want to have an extremely frustrating experience and want to feel personally attacked, this grocery store is the one for you!Staff is blatantly rude and makes side comments in front of your face like you don’t exist. If you don’t look too wealthy you might get followed around in the store and rushed to checkout and pay quicker. If you’re a tourist expect to be treated even worse. On the other hand, their prices are absolutely ridiculous and make no logical sense.Too long don’t read:1. Don’t come here, the staff working here will make you feel like garbage2. Economically it doesn’t even make sense to want to come here in the first place.

Its so Asian grocery store thats supplies wide variety of specialty items from many different Asian countries.I buy many Japanese products for making sushi as well as Chinese Thai and Vietnamese spices and sauces.I have been going there for over 10 years and the people always greet me with a greeting and are very nice. The star feels clean and the shelves are well stocked. They have fresh vegetables as well as a large freezer section full of prepared Asian Cuisine, from dumplings and egg roll wrappers to frozen crab sticks.Their vegetables are actually quite good, from herbs and spices to fresh bean sprouts tofu and my favorite Shanghai bok choy. They also sell lemongrass fresh mint and basil as well as fresh bamboo shoot.Prices are competitive but they are depending on the cost of importing.Overall Japanese products have gone up in price more than others.

Just a bit too pricey for me. Maybe its because its in Miami? Ive been to Vietnamese grocery stores outside the arra that charge nearly half. But it has everything one needs that a regular grocery store wont carry. It has a large selection or tea, any sauces (like fish sauce which was a god send for me) and fresh vegetables. They also have frozen fish and a meat section which was closed when I went, but I went late. And it has an aisle of cutlery, bowls, and cups. Overall like this place. As far as the owners they help when you ask but seem tired which is understandable since its family owned and thats a lot of work.

This place although it has plenty of good DRY goods, was an absolute disaster to visit. As a chef I pride myself in good sanitary habits. This place had an entire wall refrigerator that was HOT and not working. Ironically enough it had most of the seafood items on display here. Things look perished and rotted. I have no idea how they are still in business. The freezer was over stocked and looked like every item was freezer burned. Again, for DRY goods(so long as it has an expiration date on it) youre good, but for anything like meat, seafood, or any type of protein I would def NOT ever purchase it here. Very disappointed as I expected much more out of a market I have been seeing in business for nearly my entire 35 years of life.

I went in there looking for natto, which is a Japanese traditional food. Its fermented soybeans and has a lot of health benefits, most notably a high amount of vitamin K. When I entered the store I wasnt even greeted. The two women at the cash register were speaking in thier native tongue to each each other heatedly. They were very rude. When I approached one of them, I showed her a picture on my phone of what I was looking for, she barely looked at me and tapped her friend to look at it. She dismissed me when I tried to explain to her what it was saying, no Japanese, and waving her hand before going back to talking to the other one. Im guessing they dont speak English very well. The little boy that was there was the only one who was trying to be helpful. If they were smart, they would take advantage of having someone who is probably fluently bilingual and have him accommodate the guests and actually provide good customer service. Its clear that his aunties or whoever they are dont know what that is.

Looking for Asian food items, medicinal or beauty products? This is a fairly well-stocked store for some of those hard-to-find foods, food prep and cooking utensils, even harder to obtain Chinese herbal preparations. There are usually a few clothing pieces, a selection of incense, small toys, a selection of Asisn tchotkes found in any Asian grocery, plus the useful household tools--sometimes very inexpensive. The shelves are full and kept neatly displayed. Its a hit-or-miss as to the freshness of the vegetables, but theyre usually good, and fairly priced. They carry a whole case of refrigerated and frozen foods, plus fresh seafood. However, since I havent purchased any of that, I cannot comment. This review is aimed toward the casual shopper of Asian products, as I have no insider knowledge as to the subtlties of whether this shop is a great find, or not, for either the Asian-born, or for those more intimately involved in purchasing Asian products. By what Ive seen, the customers are a mix, culturally-speaking. There are one or two handicap parking spots immediately in front.Overall, I like to shop here, but there are a few things worth mentioning which may detract ftom your experience. If you dont mind being followed around the fairly cramped aisles, or at least be under the constant scrutiny of a woman with a permanent scowl on her face, shop on. Merchandize may be expired, so have a quick look, if that matters to you. (I have inadvertently found that an older date does not necessarily mean that the item cannot be fully enjoyed.)Many of their products have fair to excellent prices, but some are curiously over-priced, so just be aware if that is a concern. Parking can be a pain, even though the parking lot is large enough. Communication is not easy with the elderly [couple, I assume?], but if that doesnt bother you, chances are youll leave with a bag full of goodies.I gave the lower rating because I dont like being followed around by a hawk, and if I have a problem with something Ive bought, good luck at Lucky!

I love this asian market ! I can get my favorite frozen dumplings to steam at home, my crispy seaweed snacks, and huge spicy ramen noidle soup bowls to make when I feel like a cold is coming on, like today. Ginger honey throat lozenges, etc. Everything is neatly organized and priced. There are really affordable houseware items in the last aisle, plates, bowls, mugs, teapots and cups. You could literally outfit a small kitchen with almost everything you need. I used to buy my son a fizzy drink from the refrigerated bottled beverage section when he was little, about 12 years ago, that has a drop down marble in the opening. You pop it down and the drink is ready and fizzy, and you have a rattle to make noise with when you are done. Good memories and it was a nice way for me to talk about another culture with my son. I will continue to come here, hopefully for many more years !
