Total incompetence: Before Christmas, the dealer sold my wife a Yamaha that was to be registered as a “Low Speed Vehicle.”. However, he failed tp provide her the proper documentation; according to the State inspector, he failed to conduct the required pre-sale inspection; and he failed to tell my wife what a hassle it would be to register the vehicle as a Low Speed Vehicle. It turns out that we will have to haul the damn thing from Key West to Marathon to get a proper State inspection and that the first available inspection will be toward the end of March. If I were you, I’d go elsewhere.

Super unprofessional. We were told they are going to come out to service our golf cart and they gave us the run around. When we called to complain and get service, we were dismissed. They never ended up coming out. There are plenty of other golf cart companies. Unfortunately after the change in management this golf cart company is in the toilet. It’s a shame because I really liked this golf cart company before.As to your reply below:Southern Golf Cars Inc arrived to my house Tues before the holiday, without working equipment in order to service the golf cart. We were told you would be out the next day with working equipment to service the golf car and that never happened. Instead other calls were placed before mine and got serviced before the Holiday. 3 weeks later my ticket is still floating around there without any calls to me, no messages, no texts, nothing to get the job done, keep the client happy because I guess you chose which clients to be dismissive of. Very unprofessional. Michael the manager we totally disrespectful and treated us like a joke.

Ive used this company on three occasions. Lift kit and tires, and two small repairs. They have always been courteous, on time, and reasonable in their prices. On this last occasion, they came out to pick up the cart, and actually found and fixed the problem on the spot.

I would not go any where else any more!After several bad experiences elsewhere, i took my golf car to Southern Golf Cars. The were welcoming, knowledgeable, thorough, and very reasonable in the pricing.The owner was out the day i went in, but his staff took excellent care of me and returned my cart the next day as promised.Its a 2 hour drive for me to service at Southern, but well worth the effort compared to dealing with the others.

Great service, good price. They came to my house, replaced batteries for a pretty reasonable price. They even came back and fixed the battery watering system. Few honest and nice people left like this in Miami. Highly recommended and will be calling them in the future.

Ron Smith and his staff really do understand customer service. I just had my golf cart and generator serviced at Southern Golf Cars and to my delight everything was taken care of as promised. No hidden fees or additional charges on my bill. My cart was spotless when I picked it up and not soiled up with grease. They really go out of their way with their customers. Highly recommend them for all of your golf cart needs including purchasing one.

Rude staff. Terrible service. Had appointment at noon, arrived at 1207 and guy went to lunch. Woman was very rude. Also, they do not do budget rentals. They told me to go with uhaul because budget is very unreliable. I cannot believe a place like this is still open.

Went onto the website, it said they are open on Saturdays but got to the place and everything is closed. Tried calling but went straight to voicemail. If you don’t work on Saturdays you should take it off your website.

If there is another word better than Amazing then thats what it is.. From the moment we walked in the vibe was perfect. Ron couldnt have been anymore informative, nice, accomadating and Genuine.

Worst service ever, they didnt order my parts and I wasted my time going there three times and they never got the parts. The women that works doesnt want to sell anything. If i were the owner I would sell that place becuase the bad service is going make him lose all his money.

The owners of this company should stick to what they know - golf carts - and get rid of their side Budget truck rental business immediately. If you are reading this for a review on their Budget franchise you should quickly do yourself a favor and go elsewhere for your truck rental needs. I reserved a truck and a trailor a week in advance and arrived to pick it up to find that a trailor was not available. The lady at the front asked if customer service called me to notify me of this issue - No, they didnt - so apparently this location wiped their hands clean of contacting us to notify us or trying to find a solution for us. My husband then asks if they checked if any other locations had a trailor and she said oh no we didnt - would you like me to? UMMYeah YEAH THATD BE GREAT. After a lot of time wasted and another secondary trip to a completely different Budget location to pick up the trailor all I can say is that the folks at this location were unhelpful and useless. Not to mention that I called them back once we realized wiper blades were missing on the truck and the response we got was were about to close up so the best thing you could do is call roadside assistance I asked if this truck was even inspected or if any maintenance was done on it and the response I get yeah I assume so but Im not the one that does it. Honestly words cant express the lack of professionalism I experienced today with this Budget and all I can hope for is that this lengthy review saves someone else from a future headache.
