I could not be happier that I received my certification to be an open water diver with Javi from UU. His endless patience, calm and tremendous experience is what any novice diver needs in order to surmount the fear of the unknown. Him and the UU team are top notch and I am grateful for all I learned with them. Javi I did my honeymoon dive in Anguilla today and its all thanks to you!!!! Would 1000% recommend for anyone that wants to learn to scuba the right way :)

Great experience. These guys know their stuff. Did a group class and worked mostly with Javi. This guy breathes and eats scuba. He really prepared us for a safe and long experience as scuba divers.

Great place to get open water scuba certified! Had more anxiety than anticipated in the water but the course is very thorough (well worth the money) and the instructors help you through it and make you comfortable- thanks Javi!! I can’t wait for my next dive!

I can’t express how helpful and pleasant the staff at Underwater Unlimited was throughout my Open Water Certification.As a referral diver, I came in with a certain amount of paperwork and other administrative hurdles that had to be overcome. They handled it quickly and professionally, and worked with me to make sure I was prepared in every sense of the word for the dives.There was never a moment that I questioned if I was in good hands or if the staff was qualified; their knowledge and passion for the sport were very reassuring as a new diver.Underwater Unlimited made my first trip to Florida one that I won’t soon forget. Because of my time with them, I am a safer and more confident diver. I highly recommend them and their services.

I just finished my Open Water certification and could not be happier with the experience. Charlie, Javi, and Alana are some of the funniest and most genuine people you will ever meet. They truly do love instructing new students and make learning about SCUBA exciting. UU also knows all of the great dive spots down here, and in the world, as Charlie has been on over 8,000 dives, which makes me feel honored to be taught by him and his group. I would recommend this shop to anyone looking for painless SCUBA training sessions, great prices on gear/rentals, or people who just want some great company while on dives.

Great place went to fill up my tank and rent nitrox tank. They had ran out of din2 tanks and the owner did everything possible to get me a din2 tank. Will be filling up and servicing my equipment there from now on. The young gentleman who fills the tanks was very friendly and professional 5 star for this shop.

I had such an amazing experience that I came back a few months later to complete my Advanced Open Water certification with them. They have the best dive gear in South Florida by far! I just completed my open water training course at Underwater Unlimited. As a commercial pilot I am always going thru some type of training to maintain my proficiency in flying. I must say the training and the professionalism at Underwater Unlimited was impressive. This outfit really goes the distance to make sure you know the material well to become a safe diver. Its no cake walk, and this is how it should be. I strongly recommend these guys for the open water scuba course. Be safe and equalize!!!!!

I couldnt have imagined my experience being any better. The ENTIRE staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and taught me everything i needed to know (and more) and made it extremely fun at the same time. It was way more fun of a process than i expected.

Charlie, proprietor, or Dive Yoda, is safety-minded, professional, dedicated, and fun. He certified my kids, who were in their early to mid-teens at the time and I trust him completely. My kids are in early 20s and late teens and they dive and inspire their friends to get certified. Diving can be dangerous, and Charlie and his crew always put safety first while keeping the experience fun, memorable, and awe-inspiring.

I went through scuba certification with underwater unlimited and could not have had a better experience! The staff is friendly and helpful and make sure that youre fully prepared before diving in the ocean for the first time. The certification process was a lot of fun because of the staff and the experience wouldnt have been as enjoyable with other companies.

I spent four years working as a lifeguard watching these guys certify divers and I was interested but kept putting it off. Finally a month before I graduated I said its time. My only regret was I didnt do it earlier! Best decision Ive ever made and now Im hooked!!

Just today finished my Open Water Certification at Underwater Unlimited.Amazing people. Good training. They make sure you know exactly what you need to be successful on a dive.But really, Javier, Charlier, and Jordan are funny, kind, caring, but also serious about safety. No one was allowed out of the pool unless they were sure we knew what we were doing. And they also care about you personally. Javi bought me lunch after the dive because I didnt have money.The discount for UM students is also very generous.If you want the best of diving in Miami, go to Underwater Unlimited.

The only way this place stays in business is due to the fact they make money off FIU, UM, PD, and little boys and girls with mom and dads money. $200 to hydro three tanks and they are going to charge you for air after the fact! Also, the plastic caps for the tanks, that MANY dive shops give you (free) if your tank is missing one and probably cost $.15 to make are $2.50, gtfoh! I bought my Riffe 120 euro for $450 at Overseas Dive Shop in Big Pine Key, these people wanted $325 or close to for a little sea hornet. Spend your money wisely, shop around, online or the best dive shop in SoFla Austins Dive center on US1. Give me a break!

Have taken Diving classes with Javier at MDC. Underwater Unlimited is the best place for your money.The staff is great and helpful and the classes are spot on.

I certified with them in 2006 and to this day I continue to do business with them, incredible customer service, their instructor Javier is super and knows a world of what he does, this place is my favorite when it comes to diving.
