Obviously you cant be in business for 40 some years without your yes being yes and no being no...treating customers honestly.Quite frankly, youve just made a very bad decision if you didnt hire Tom (I mean, as long as you can get him, his place is packed).I found Tom by calling other top marine services around Miami and asking who had the best track record / reputation for Mercury sterndrives and there is only one name they would give me; Tom with USA Power Boats. They said the marine industry standards down here are so low, they WOULD NOT put their own reputations to recommending anyone else other than Tom (and I pleaded for more, as I didnt want to be stuck with only one option).Moving forward, Tom’s quote was very reasonable (about 30% less than other quotes I had) and so I hired him & his team and everything went even better than expected.AND really it was a very difficult job for him or any shop...probably he didnt make much money. Boat was a complete mess. What started out as changing only universal joint... led to having to take my motor completely out as everything had not only been done wrong (upon a new motor in 2013), motor never seated properly...everything falling apart everywhere. Ended up needing new V6 motor manifolds (images attached), new gimbal housing, new lower unit stern drive..etc.Was almost a 1.5 month project and Tom kept me in the loop with updates constantly and encouraged me not to spend money on the boat (never heard that one before from a mechanic shop!!)No question, Tom gets way more satisfaction in how he treats Customers than his bottom line as a business and that is why I feel indebted to write this review. AND his team and top guys are the same way... which is the essential element of any business.Superb work... thanks again gentlemen!!

USA Power Boats is the best Mercruiser dealer in south Florida. I will not take my boat to anybody else. If you’re like me you’ve been to other dealers and mechanics and got nothing but heartache. I was that way too until found Tom the owner at USA Power Boats. He and staff are excellent and the trustworthy. They always repair my boat and get it right the first time. You may have to wait to get in there to see him but trust me it’s worth the wait.

I just want to share my experience. I bought a replacement alternator for my Volvo Penta a little over a year ago (out of warranty) and my $400 ++ alternator just went bad. Since is out of warranty I opened it to test it and the regulator is bad. Whats really kicking me is that the brand it says is Valeo, no were in the unit it says Volvo Penta anywhere. When I did a cross reference online I can get the same brand Valeo alternator for $122.I guess my question is if Valeo is the same as Volvo Penta? or was I over charged when I originally bought it thinking it was OEM? As a customer I would like an explanation to clear the misunderstanding or do I need to buy my OEM parts from somewhere else. Thank you.

Vinny and Tom are the best, honest, professional and extremely helpful. I cant thank them enough for making the repair to my Volvo D6 engine. Their philosophy is do it right and dont fix what isnt broken. I have complete trust in their recommendations. Highly recommended!!!!!!!

Very good if you need parts for a Mercury . Every time I need something they have it. I just needed a screw for the thermostat housing , they had it in stock.

Over priced boat parts ! And apparently one of the sales reps must be a comedian. Asked a simple question, if they sold spark plugs. I have never bought from this store or even heard of it till someone recommended it to me. After about 10 min wasted with the back and forth about the spark plug he puts the phone down and lets the other service rep know that Im being a smart a** for asking if they sold spark plugs. Next time you talk smack about a customer put the phone on hold or mute so the customer whos looking to buy parts wont hear it. $26 and change per spark plug. NO THANKS I called another reputable store and asked about the same plug $15.99 per plug without getting insulted and treated like a moron for asking a question like hey do you guys sell spark plugs will never even soend a penny at this store thanks sales rep

Tom and his team handled the purchase of my Volvo 130s sail drive for my catamaran very well. I installed the unit myself and needed the unit to arrive quickly from Sweden to allow me enough time to get it in in time for my upcoming Bahamas trip. Tom pushed on Volvo Sweden and the unit arrived early. As I went thru the installation process I would periodically break things (screws mainly) as I needed to remove my engine to get the sail drive out of my boat. Tom, layda and alex helped me identify the correct replacement part and typically got it to me the very next day. This proved to be invaluable to my timeline.Great job.

Great customer service. Friendly knowledgeable staff. Great stock of Mercuiser and Volvo Penta parts. Excellent work - I had to have oil pan replaced- so engine came out- I was impressed at the little extras taken, like urethane paint applied on parts to prevent future problem. Work was professional and tidy. Speak to Tom (owner) about any issues and he will give you the time to try and solve your issues. He wont try and sell you what you dont need. Just be aware they can get really busy during peak times. Great shop.
