The availability of acoustic/electric guitars is poor. In the past there was a nice display. As a matter of fact I bought several guitars and items. Awesome experience like always. I’ve always felt at home in any SamAsh store I visit. Although It’s obvious their inventory has been impacted by the aftermath of COVID and shipment delays, their staff is as friendly and knowledgeable as always. I will keep buying all my gear at SamAsh for years to come.

I typically go to the San Ash at Dolphin Mall, which is a great Sam Ash. I stopped by this one because was in the area and interested buying a new ESP, so I thought I’d stop in to check the prices. I walked in and waved hello to the 2 employees at the front counter and neither of them respond despite looking right at me (pretty rude). Then I went to the guitar section and there was only one guy there attending to a customer so i didn’t bother him. I checked the prices on the guitars and they were on average $200-$300 more expensive than online price id been searching and I waited for about 10 minutes, and no one acknowledged me (despite being one of only 2 customers in the store while 2 employees just chit chatted in The corner), so I just left. Will not be returning to this location; I’ll stick to dolphin mall.

My online experience had not been good (so far). Im giving Sam Ash one more day to provide an amicable solution. Ordered a guitar 4 days ago. When I called and spoke with a customer service person about my order I was told it was still in the warehouse and they would call me back. When I missed their call the next day they emailed me saying the guitar was a floor model and not in the original box. I replied the same day via email asking for a small % off because it was not new in the box. Their reply was to assign it to a different service rep. Today is day 4 and still no resolution. I feel like I should have ordered it from Amazon... same price and 18 months no interest financing with the Amazon card. Ill give them one more day (today) to bring this to a satisfactory conclusion.

I ordered and paid for a digital piano. The next day they emailed me saying sorry, but all we actually have is a store demo model. Do you still want it? Annoying, but it was unavailable elsewhere, so I said yes if you discount it. They agreed. Two days later they emailed again saying they cant find the original box and I cant have it. Then the next day they sent me an email saying they had shipped it to me. They later emailed again saying that was a mistake and I still was not getting it. Avoid.

Absolute worst experience ever(0 stars). Purchased a couple demo lighting products, after a week of asking what the delay in shipping was, they hadnt even been taken down yet, and I was told they didnt have boxes for them. I then canceled the order. After a week, I get an email saying that I might get an email saying the items were shipped and to disregard. I then get an email from customer service saying they are handling my case that should have been over-with...4 days later, I get a credit card alert saying my card had been charged, and the customer service guy I spoke with told me he never heard of Steve T. whose signature says he is General Manager?? What kind of operation is this?There is no explanation why I was charged, but it will be 3-5 days for a refund.First and last time I will ever order from this company. Dont waste your time or money....

Great store and great people. Unfortunately, because of Covid19, it’s a skeleton of a store of what it used to be. I’ve not been to this store since early 2000s. Yes I am that old and time is fleeting ! However, they’re not like that place *coughs* Guitar Center *coughs*. Sam Ash folks are friendly and informative and patient to teach those that don’t have any knowledge (I’ve seen them help los ancianos too). Moreover they suggest what you may like based on what you tell them and not what they think you should get like that other place. *clears throat * guitar center *. Again, I haven’t been here in years and the store lacks inventory but it makes up for the excellent attention to empathy and care that makes them above the rest.

Didn’t have the best experience. Walked in the store with my kids, on a slow day, and browsed around for 30 minutes. Not one employee said hi, or acknowledge my presence. I couldn’t get to my initial reason for visiting the store because of the customer service, or lack thereof.

No quality customer service to the public!. I went yesterday to the Miami Lakes Store and it was such a bad experience. I was asking for help and the guys practically made some comments and then ignored me. The store was almost empty and there’s no reason to leave a potential buyer unattended. That’s the main reason Music sales are migrating online, no extra charges, free delivery and not unpleasant faces!

Wonderful business. Schools over, its the Friday before fathers day. Pandemic is lifting. As a classical piano teacher for over 20 years, I didnt even bother going elsewhere. Just before the pandemic, I relocated from Long Island NY down to Miami. I googled Sam Ash the same way I googled Macy*s because I trust their quality, variety & reputation.Located on the southeast side of a huge intersection... 57th Ave (RedRd, rte.823) & NW 167th St (service road of PalmettoExpy, rte.826).The staff is there. The staff is good. If you need assistance, you walk over and ASK. The staff is respectful of your need to be in your own zone because you know what youre looking for. The staff leaves you free to peruse the music books or fiddle around with a guitar or keyboard. They have all the top name instrumental band lesson books for trumpet, flute, saxophone, etc. Quite a few fake books. Wide variety of show tune books, opera, piano theory, note-spellers, vocalese solfege, Alfred, Bastien, Czerny, Hanon Schaum, Thompson. Even in the far right corner I found my sacred, Christian, & ethnic jewish & italian favorites.

Fair pricing and price matching .. Not too much pro audio DJ gear(asides from guitars) in stock. So you may have to wait A couple of days for shipping from the warehouse. Personal representative is knowledgeable and customer service was as it should be. Fortunately, the manager provided great communication and support for me to purchase gear. I got the Korg modwave and SSL2 .

I was there for an hour, trying to buy guitar strings, nobody would ask me anything, the store was a mess, employees talking to each other like on a break and on top of that they charged me the wrong amount so I had to waste 20 more minutes waiting to get my money back. The internet is not the only reason these places are going out of business, worst costumer service ever 🤦‍♂️

Do not sell anything there. They do not do their job to look up the value of instruments, brands etc. They make you come in person after giving you a quote on the phone and then decide not to purchase after wasting your time saying theyre interested and not returning phone calls.Never again. In this time of online ordering and shipping, the in-store consultation and hands on product / equipment experience is slowly fading away. With that being said, I went to the store because I had a sound board question, and being a drummer some things are beyond my pay grade (lol). Needless to say I received excellent help and all my questions were answered. The employees do not give good assistance and there are just a few instrument options to try. If you want to try different models, you have to BUY ALL THE MODELS, keep the one you want and return the others. This is absurd taking in consideration that it is a music store and it is supposed to have at least a few models to try and that they won’t return you all the money (they do not return the taxes you pay). I absolutely do not recomend this place

The rude kid with arm tattoos at the front told me I needed to give all my personal information in order to get my money back if I got return. I told him that didn’t sound right and he laughed at me and said there are soo many Sam ash stores in the country that how could they keep track. I said well like every other store in the past it’s based on credit card information and receipts. He said that’s not how it works anymore. I reluctantly gave him my address and when I got the receipt on the back of it, it said that refunds are based on the credit used for purchase, so that means that’s rude boy at the front desk not only lied to me but laughed in my face. I understand it’s slow and things are different but there is no excuse for common sense and professionalism. I now laugh at him. I won’t be shopping her or “the thousands” of other stores according to this dude sam ash has. There is a nicer and smarter stoner you can hire to work the front door. If you need his name it’s on my receipt and I’ll be happy to give it to you.

Had an issue trying to find a store that had a certain studio monitor in stock...called Sammy...told me that there were two left and to come grab them immediately. Wow... that’s what we can say about Luis’ awesome customer service, he was the representative that assisted us with our purchase. When we came into the store, Luis was friendly, SUPER knowledgeable, and was very quick in getting us exactly what we were looking for. We purchased wireless microphones for an event that we had that evening. Luis not only thought us how to use the equipment, he tested it with us, and even assisted with setting it up for our event. Like I said... WOW. If management gets to read this review “Give Luis a raise!” we’ve been in the customer service industry for more than 15 years, so we know EXACTLY what GREAT and AWESOME customer service looks like. Love these guys. Ive been in the music industry 20+ years and it’s AMAZING to be able to speak with someone about the equipment that actually understands its purpose from a musicians stand point. My company always works with “Sammy”. He’s literally been there every time we make a purchase, and his little team in the electronics section is hands down the best. He gives honest feedback about industry standards regarding equipment and competitors. They do price match, but I honestly have rarely found pricing lower than theirs. They always know what’s in stock, you may have to sit on hold for a few mins, but it’s worth it to know what you’re interested in is really physically in the store before hiking to Miami. I’ve had a Sam Ash Credit Card for a long time - they also offer some of the best percentage rates and incentives as far as their financing as well... we just were there for their Anniversary Sale (KILLER PRICES) left with some beautiful new gear !!Happy Customer here !

Great place, has everything from guitars to audio, software and synths; also music classes, equipment and reparations.I bought a good used flute here for 240$ and honestly they only had like 3 new and 3 used but whatever it worth it.The pictures are mostly from the guitar and drum sections though so is hard to tell if they have what youre looking for so I highly recommend giving them a call like I did it was pretty helpful.

I didnt give it 5 stars because the variety of guitar straps and strap locks was very limited. It used to be that you could find the highest quality guitar straps at SA, sadly that is no longer the case at least at this store. Also they only had one manufacturers strap locks from which to choose a better variety would better serve the buying public.

I have to say I have visited the store a few times recently and each time Ive gone are you pretty much have to track somebody down to get any help.Its a good thing that I actually knew what I was going there for because I dont see much hope and getting any real knowledgeable assistance when trying to choose a musical item.I did manage to get a decent deal on a floor model Digital piano with the same factory warranty and got it for a few $100 cheaper.All and all Sam Ash is still one of the best musical stores in these neck of the woods.You also cant beat their 0% financing deals.

These guys ROCK!! Worked with Danny in pro audio and Troy in recording equipment and they were extremely help and kind to me. I was setting up a podcast and I needed some equipment, these guys not only helped me when i had a problem, but took the time to test out the equipment and make sure everything was working properly. This store is much less busy than the one in Dolphin mall, so I definitely suggest going the extra 15 minutes up here. By far a much better experience. Thanks again for all the help guys!

I love coming to this location. The staff is friendly, Management is competent, and their products are good quality. I just placed an order through their new progressive leasing program with ease, and although there was a small hiccup, i was able to resolve it the following day and complete my purchase. Because I wanted my items brand new out of the box, the store associate ordered the items for me from the warehouse, and the products should be arriving next week. If the product comes damaged I will make a revision to this review, however the staff has been so helpful thus far, that I dont think that will be necessary. 10/10 would come again!

Sam Ash is Great! I had an amp repaired at Miami Gardens store by Wycliff. He really knows guitar tube amps. I love Sam Ash for their nice inventory of nice guitars and great tube amps that you will only find there for example used Mesa Boogie Mark 1. There are many great guitars to try and pedals galore, They are very professional and a legendary company. I highly recommend them!

Top notch customer service. I had just started to learn guitar and the guy who helped me, Quincy, very helpful. He definitely explained a lot and was patient and responsive to my questions. The only thing that it lacked was that it felt like it was empty in terms of manpower. Quincy had too many customers to attend to.

Great customer service. Great percussion professor. He is very patient and encourages you to continue practicing. On the other hand, Sam ash must get a faster and more efficient software to register students and/or pay for items, and/or return items. The store should have another attendant for questions and answers from the public. It is a long line and waiting period to go through. It is too lay back of a management style for the price point of products, classes, and other stores competition.

Cristobal was incredibly helpful in the brass and woodwinds department. This is the best store in South Florida for all musical instruments. Im so happy Sam Ash carries all instruments, because I want to be able to find guitar strings and also polish for my trumpet in the same store, and the people are always helpful. Customer service was horrible! No one in the store offered help or even greeted me, when I finally asked for help it was as if I was interrupting the individual as he was speedy to point me in a direction and kept walking which by the way was the wrong location as I finally located the items I needed with the help of no one I went to the checkout counter where the customer service seemed to worsen! Again no greet, clerk was helping a customer in front of me which was fine after he finished helping them he walks off from the register without saying a word to me not even Ill be back! Shows back up near the counter 5-10minutes later and started having a conversation with his coworker still without acknowledging me, I than asked were I going to be help he said you will than turned around and continued speaking with his coworker, I than asked for a manager. I didnt get a manager only another clerk but at that point I was just ready to check out and leave the store
