CorrectTemp was hired by me to install new heating/AC system. The job was done quickly and professionally.I was impressed by the fact that technicians brought their own covers for the floor and covered the path from the entrance to where the work was taken place.They also were wearing masks which was important in my case since I live in a condominium.The only recommendation I have for the company is to remember to provide the updates about the order status so the customer has the right expectations and doesnt get nervous.Overall Id definitely recommend this company.

I used Correct Temp for my AC unit after purchasing my new home to address issues that we were made aware of during our inspection. I made the appointment, explained what we needed done and received a verbal quote. The technician arrived as scheduled and was very knowledgeable. The work we thought we needed turned out to be unnecessary. He gave me an itemized invoice for the work he completed, I paid the balance in full, and he left. It was a great experience and, based on that experience alone, I would have used Correct Temp for all future servicing needs and this review would be 5 stars. However, the following week I received a call from the office of Correct Temp saying I did not pay my invoice in full and needed to give them my credit card number right away to make up the $100 difference. I apologized thinking that I read the invoice incorrectly. I pulled out the invoice to see the difference and realized that I had, in fact, paid the amount I was billed in full. I requested a written copy of my estimate for the increased amount they were charging since the work that I thought would need to be completed when I made the service appointment was not needed. They simply sent the technicians invoice that I had already paid with the total crossed out and an amount for $100 more added. I am still waiting for the itemization (with costs for work actually completed) so I can understand why there is a discrepancy. I understand that mistakes are made but found the office staff requesting the additional money to be rude and unprofessional. Based on my experience with the office staff, they have lost my future business.

This company is the worst of the worst. I recently needed service on my boiler and which was under warrantee. Correct temp intentionally gave my boiler company the wrong serial number (I have emails showing the wrong serial#) so it would not show as under warrantee and insisted that I pay for the part with their overhead price added. After spending days convincing correct temp to call the boiler company again with the correct serial. Finally they did this but not before I would need to wait over the long weekend (this also seemed intentional to because they were upset). Once the part finally came I called to set up an install appointment the price had changed from what was quoted to me over the phone. When I pressed the issue and asked for backup for their quote and an email with their price they refused, and then insisted that I pay CASH before the work was even started. That is not how things are done. When I refused they held my part hostage and refused to do the work. The next company I used had difficulty getting the part under warrantee and delayed getting hot water to my tenant. I have a veteran that lived in the house and when I told him this the manager or owner Keith said that he’s probably used to cold showers and said and I quote “Fucking Clown”. This was a nightmare to deal with and everyone that works here has the same Us verses The customers mindset. Don’t let their 9/11 pandering on their website fool you, they have complete disregard for people who serve their country and their customers. Look at other reviews that are all over the internet before thinking of using this company. There are a multitude of similar claims that this is a very shady business.

We just finished having maintenance on our heating system. My furnace never looked better. The flame burns as it did day one. The technician took great care in cleaning the furnace like no other repair service has done prior. we knew we were going to get this quality work since we had the same tech come to our house for our Air Handler back in the summer. we intentionally asked for him by name, Seth Trudeau.The prior company sent out a tech and when he looked at our handler he basically stated we needed a new one. It made loud noises turning on and off. WELL, Mr. Seth came along from Correct Temp and replaced a blown capacitor and washed out the handler. He literally took over an hour cleaning it and, you guessed it, we did not need a new handler. we just needed Seth! Thanks again and expect us to keep calling on Seth @ Correct Temp.

Had a great experience with Correct Temp Hvac yesterday. Installed a new custom made drip/flood pan and fail safe off-switch for our AC. We had a clogged hose (which they cleared up) and the old fail safe/flood mechanism malfunctioned, resulting in a puddle of water that damaged our floors. Seth was very professional and did a great job with the installation. Thanks guys!

Recently saw condensation coming from the air handler of the central air. Technician was on site the same day. I was pleasantly surprised that it was a clog in the drain line. Peter fixed the problem and tested it. He was accurate and effective. The fix was economical and I’m glad I chose them. Five stars.

We had an issue with our upstairs AC unit. It was extremely difficult to explain what was wrong since it would work for a bit of time and then stop cooling. We called Correct Temp and they arranged for a technician (Dave) to come over. We were a bit worried since we had never dealt with them before and we didn’t know what to expect. We always appreciate having technicians explaining the problems and walking us through solutions and that has not been always the case. Dave exceeded our expectations. He is a young man with great amount of knowledge. He is polite and respectful. He clearly loves what he does and we could see that right away. He asked all the right questions and offered clear explanations of what was the cause of the problem and how to fix it. He is a credit to his profession. In our opinion Correct Temp’s reputation shines because of technicians like Dave. It is great to have an AC unit that works when is extremely hot outside.

We just had a central air conditioning installed by Correct Temp. I cannot say enough about how pleased we are with this installation. Every step of the way, every person I had to deal with was down to earth friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Thank you Keith for working with us to make it possible for us to have central air. The guys that were in our house doing the installation were hard working, friendly, professional and very very neat in everything they did. These guys, Brad, Chet and Josh were exceptional. They showed tremendous concern for our home and belongings and what little mess was made was immediately cleaned up. They did a great job and everything looks and works great. I am amazed about how quiet the system is inside and outside. My advice to others is dont just look at the dollars. Look at the entire package that Correct Temp has to offer. Called Correct Temp based on the recommendation of a trusted friend/contractor. They were friendly and easy to deal with the whole way through. Bob, Matt, and Chris were all very helpful during the process. They were able to work around my business build out too. I would highly recommend Correct Temp to anyone looking for a quality HVAC company.

I have been using this company since I built my house 4 years ago. They service my AC and heat yearly. I have had only the best experiences with the staff. The office staff is so easy to deal with and the service staff is top notch. Always on time, always professional and always get the job done. The contracts are very affordable !

I think overall these guys are pretty good, I have had used them since 2003. Their techs are good to work with and do a great job. So why the 2 stars....well I just had a pretty shady experience. I had trouble with my AC. The control board was clearly fried. I expected that they would order a new one and replace. Well I had to call them when nothing happened and was told oh we needed you to approve the part...it is $1300 installed I was so caught of guard by that. I went home, pulled the part number...found one for $100. Called them back and got told well that voids warranty (I am not the original owner so that was voided anyway). you need an approved one.... it cost us $600. I still was thinking ...well $700 to swap 6 leads and 5 wires seems pretty steep. To be fair the lady I spoke to was pretty clear that I could try it myself but who knows what will happen.So I ordered the board myself. Replaced it. Unit runs perfectly...saved $1200. I gave these guys multiple chances to say oh man sorry we made a mistake hoping they were not trying to over-charge me. Well it looks like they were (called back today to cancel upcoming service and they were surprised I had a bad experience). I called a person I know in the HVAC business and they looked up the part and it would have cost them $190. Close enough. Not $600 and not $1300 installed.I am still not sure there wasnt miscommunication there. I tend to think the best of people. That said if you get some weird quote....Trust but verify.

Not only are the technicians professional and very knowledgeable but the customer service is fantastic! I have had issues for 6-8 weeks where the temp coolness could not be regulated today finally with the genius of Tom the service tech at Correct Temp in Methuen, MA I believe it has been corrected. 2 hours after he left the fan on the condenser shut off and the home temp is a dry and cool 72 degrees.GREAT SERVICE, ON TIME AND MOST PROFESSIONAL . My husband and I had been a customer of Correct Temp for 11 years. We paid them thousands of dollars over the years between the installation of a heating zone above the garage and annual maintenance contracts paid for each year. The one time (Monday, January 15 2018 in the 4pm hour) that we had an emergency need (pipe burst in room above garage requiring heating system to be shut down); they failed my family profoundly by refusing to have the on-call technician come out to the house. This was upsetting (and scary! with kids and no heat) given our being loyal customers, a paid contact in place, and our very urgent and vulnerable need that evening. My husband asked the technician to have the owner of Correct Temp call us as there has to be some misunderstanding and that we felt terribly mistreated by the refusal to come out, stabilize the situation, and get heat returned to the rest of the house. The technician listened and kindly offered to call the owner back on our behalf. The technician talked to the owner and called us back relaying to us the owners message: His exact quote: I am eating dinner, if you want to talk to me, then call me tomorrow, at the office, during business hours. The technician was not going to help us that night- the office would call in the morning.Nobody should expect this from a heating service company holding themselves out as providers of emergency service. We had given all our business to Correct Temp for the entire 11 years weve owned our home.Advice to reader? Find another heating/cooling company. Look for reviews specific to emergency service- thats when you need them to come through for your family- and Correct Temp simply will not.

After the compressor broke down in our heating/AC unit we lived without AC for most of the summer in 2013. We looked into getting quotes from two HVAC companies, Correct Temp being one of them. Their quote came in just a bit lower than the company we were comparing them to. It was good to know both companies were about the same and made me feel like the quote was accurate. When Correct Temp came in to do the work they were very respectful of our property and very clean. They came in on a very hot day and finished the entire job. After they completed the job one of the techs went through the whole system with me and went over all the paperwork. They continue to be very helpful with any questions I have about the service we have done on the system seasonally. I would recommend Correct Temp to any family or friends that need this type of service.

If could give negative stars I would. Horrible experience from start to finish. They have zero communication skills whatsoever. I purchased a whole new system from them for my home because my system died. It is the middle of July and needless to say my central air is not working. I would think that upon giving a business $8,000, you would receive at least an ATTEMPT at a speedy installation. Especially during 90+ degree weather. Wrong. After paying them, I was told that I would receive a phone call within 2 weeks, as they are extremely busy with calls right now and are scheduling a bit out. 2 weeks came and went, and I received no phone call to schedule the installation of my new system. Not even a phone call to update me on where I stand. I called several times to try to get an answer, and each time was told someone will get back to you tomorrow. The rep I spoke with seemed very unenthusiastic and did not care at all. I still never received a call back. Told them to refund my money immediately and cancel my service request. This whole experience cost me not only half of the summer, but also somewhere around $200 in credit card transaction fees to purchase and then refund my money, when I could have simply taken my business elsewhere from the beginning. The way they handled themselves is completely unacceptable. If I am giving you $8,000 to perform a service, you better perform that service and do it in a timely manner. These people have zero customer service skills and it felt like I was being robbed. I have not had an experience this horrible with a business in a long time, and I will make sure to tell all of my friends and family members to stay far away from here, and I would recommend anyone else to do the same as well.

We have been using CorrectTemps for the past five years since we moved into our new house. They service our systems twice a year and have done a great job with the annual visits and a couple of emergency service calls. Recently, Peter was doing the winter tune up and he noticed water on the basement floor. Then he climbed into our crawl space and found that the water was coming in from the first floor. This observation saved us as we had a leak in our washing machine that we did not notice and would have caused massive damaged if left unchecked. Sent them 2 emails over the course of 2 weeks through their web site contact form asking if they serviced my area and to make an appointment for early next month...both emails ignored, not even a generic reply.I cannot comment on the quality of their service but their communication is terrible.

Just wanted to send a big Thank You to Keith Guilmet abd his crew for the design and installation of the Rheem heat pump system at my home in NH. I admit to being a bit sceptical about heat pumps, but this system effortlessly heats and cools the entire second floor of my large home without any neeed for installing supplemental heat. When it came to the installation, the crew showed up on time, spent an entire day removing the old system and installing the new one, which involved a lot of work in the attic. I am an old, fussy guy, but everything they did was just perfect.They gave me an up-front price for the system and, despite adding some last minute extras, they stuck to it. And I should also mention that their price was considerably less then some of their competitors. So once again just wanted to say thank you for a job well done.Frank Lagana
