The people who run this business go out of their way to treat their customers very rudely. I was so embarrassed for my family. The rudest staff, period with the older ladies were working behind the counter. I took my 12yr old daughter and 15yr Son after school to get some nice Saints gear to wear to the Giants game on Sunday. I was so embarrassed. Completely inept ability to operate a retail store. First off, every guest should be told by the staff “hello” upon entering the store. Secondly, the staff should mentioned to the customers, “Please let me know if I can help you in any way.” But trust me, that was the least of my problems with this store.

I generally love going in here. Today, not so much. Whoever was working probably shouldnt be in retail. Basically I am looking for a specific type of item as I have almost every jersey, tee and sweater and jacket I want but the person working was so ambivalent about being there and didnt acknowledge my presence AT ALL and I walked around the store for about 15 minutes. I refuse to spend money when I am not at least acknowledged, so I put back the items I had and left.

A must visit ship every time I come to town, to pick up a new piece of NOLA sports gear. Great gear sections for not only the Saints, but LSU, Tulane, the Pelicans, and other local teams.

Great people!! Flew into town rushed over. They had just closed! They reopened for us! Great selection at a fair price!!!

Theres always a clearance rack. A very large variety of clothing and miscellaneous saints and LSU items.

This has been my go to store for Saints merchandise for years. And this year, I did a little extra scouting of the LSU side since my daughter is a student there. I recommend always checking the sales rack. There are some great deals to be found.

Black and gold is wonderful always have been Ive shopped there over the years and I love my saints and they have a very nice manager I dont know his name I left my phone my phone was still there and I appreciate it God bless

As a Saints fan who grew up in New Orleans and then moved away its hard to find Saints apparel. But, they had EVERYTHING Saints you could imagine with a great selection.

Im originally from the city, but never heard of this store until last weekend. When visiting from Texas, my father and I was discussing Saints merch that I could bring back and where to find it. He took me to this place and yes, I was in Nola Sports HEAVEN!!!I just purchased a new truck, and decided to buy a Saints license plate to put on the front of it. I also bought a few more things. The LSU section is just as nice as well. Other NOLA teams that I saw merch for was the Pelicans and Tulane; which is also my favorites.One downfall of this place was the parking is not the best. We had to park across the street and walk over. I would definitely invest in a new location; or start running the numbers in looking into one.Another downfall was that the place is expensive. There werent any sales such as buy 1 Get 1, buy 1 Get 1 50% off, a clearance section etc. In their defense, the Saints are in season, so I would not expect too many sales; but some could get older merch out of the store.In all, I will return and buy more whenever I am in the city. I will have to make sure that I save money to get everything that I want because when you see merch that you want, you want to buy it because you dont know when you will see it again or be back again.

Very cool place to get all of your saints apparels. Not too big of a selection for big and tall. We found a few items but apparently the larger sizes sell out very quickly. The staff there is very nice and helpful. The store carries lots of Saints gear. Shirts, jackets, scarves, socks, stickers, hats and also a few items for pets. I would definitely recommend this store.

The folks there are pretty rude---- with LSU and the Saints doing so well, and it is Christmas time--- you would think that the workers would be in good spirits- they bark at you when you ask for help looking for a size, and dont even stop to address you-- just keep walking-- then.. only one register opened with 2 employees working the same register (one to ring you up and one to process your credit card)--- Im just saying-- get in the holiday spirit and smile-- the Saints and LSU are rolling along and you folks have to be making good money!

Not only was I able to purchase some great Saints merchandise but I accidentally left my cell phone and they were nice enough to come back to the shop after hours to all me to get it. Excellent service!!!!

I purchased both Nike and 47 brand shirts on the same day and laundered them together, dried on delicate. The 47 brand shrunk 4 inches in width and 3 inches in length. The Nike brand shirt had no change in size. When I tried to return the 47 brand shirt three days after I purchased it, the blonde woman at the counter was extremely snippy, telling me since the tags were not attached, she had no idea if I wore it or how I laundered it. I would have had to boil it in a cauldron to shrink that much. Buyer beware, buy a larger size or line dry 47 brand shirts. Pretty sad they don’t stand behind the poor quality items they sell.

Horrible return policy! Even if you have the receipt. Can’t exchange or store credit. They don’t care and they have the worst attitude. I’ve shopped there for years and spent a lot of money. Never again!!!!!

This review is based on an experience my cousin had a while back at the MANDEVILLE location, but it still bothers me so much that Im just now posting. Reading some of the other reviews, I cant believe I waited so long to do this.My cousin went into this store because she drove by it and it looked inviting. She went inside, looked around at the merchandise, and tried to speak to the sales clerk. The lady ignored her so she introduced herself and gave the clerk the business card of our other cousin who makes Game Day jewelry in addition to semi-precious, hand-made jewelry that is now being sold in well-known fashion magazines. (Have you heard of ROXY or Free People?) She figured the store owner would like the Game Day concept and may want to partner up with our jewelry-making mutual cousin. The clerk called her out on her appearance and said she couldnt believe she was coming in dressed like that in order to make a sales pitch.1. My adult cousin is on the Autistic spectrum and, although she wasnt dressed inappropriately & has excellent hygiene, she isnt one to dress like a Southern Belle type either. Shes authentically herself--very what you see is what you get.2. She wasnt making a sales pitch--just passing along a business card.3. This was a spur of the moment idea and was not planned out ahead of time, and she was thinking of others not herself.4. Im not sure if the clerk behind the register was upper management or the owner, but, you stand behind a register, scan merchandise, and press buttons. Thats not a license to treat people like sh**.WEVE NEVER GONE BACK TO THIS STORE.

I could go broke in this place. They have more Saints and LSU stuff then anything else but they also have a good selection of our other local team gear. Price is a little on the high side but so is quality and everything appears to be authentic and authorized.

Im rating because of the outstanding customer service I received regarding a web order. I accidentally clicked the wrong size and didnt realize it until I got my receipt emailed to me. I send an email to the webmaster explaining my problem almost immediately - not really expecting a response. I was wrong, not only did I get a reply email early the next morning but also got a follow-up call and they were able to pull the correct size and send it out the same day. You dont get customer service like that very often and I absolutely appreciate it. Thank you

Sorry but I was at Tower Pizza, not Black and Gold. But from previous shopping experience, I gave it 4 stars.But unfortunately for the same reason I dont follow WWE were 90% or better is fake, including the outcome, I no longer follow the NFL or Saints. So no need for me to visit the Black and Gold Shop.But I do recommend it for those who still follow the National Fake League.

I see the complaints here which has driven me to post a rating. The staff can seem indifferent sometimes, but Ive seen them deal with crazy crowds (us lol). I cant imagine that the products are fake. And the prices are usually as good as any or better even while the NFL jacks up jersey prices. And the selection cannot be beat. 4 stars because they could be better.

I bought my dad an LSU shirt on sale, I got the wrong size and tried to exchange it but they didnt have that shirt in his size. They wouldnt take it back or give me a store credit, or return my money. Now were stuck with a shirt that doesnt fit. The cashier at the store was very rude and I dont recommend anyone to buy form this store. Beware! Ill never shop there ever again; there are too many other good and reputable stores to shop from.
