I really appreciate the people who work at this particular location. Workers here have always been helpful and polite. Working around grumpy people and large amounts of rambunctious children on a regular basis can be rather difficult and yet I have never went into this store and came across an employee that wasnt professional and smiling. My kids love the toys and mom loves the customer service!

An ode to Toys R Us....how much fun can someone have before they grow up? Rather so, how much fun will we have once we grow up? The fun should never stop. We are told to never grow up and to play on. And so we shall! From having our dream garage of Hot Wheels to having our big expensive cars paid off...dont ever forget how to play. You work hard, you play hard. Never forget the times you had going down the aisles and hoping your Christmas, birthday, Easter, Valentines, hannukah, what have you, was filled with toys from this heaven. We made a promise to Toys R Us to never grow up. So lets play on.

The staff at this store truly go above and beyond for their customers. Jason helped me figure out a solution to a recalled item that was over 10 years old. My daughter really enjoys their birthday program with Geoffrey the giraffe. I have never had a bad experience at this store and Ive been going here for well over 10 years.

I have always had a good experience at this store. The staff is helpful, especially the manager. The are more expensive than other places, but easily price match other stores, or online. The also have the cash rewards program and coupons.

Went shopping there with my daughter just before they went under and I did so more for my own need to have one last nostalgic moment of reflection on what the store meant to kids when I was young and why it’s just never going to feel right that we’ve now lost every option available for brick and mortar toy stores. You have to feel a little sad wondering where the kids are going to go now? God save us from our only option being Walmart again or having to shop online for toys that kids want to pick up in the store and see firsthand. It’s a sad development in American tradition and a casualty of capitalism at its most unfortunate. No more Geoffrey.

Very helpful staff but there arent many so you have to search for one. Huge variety of toys but not a lot of SKUs per type of toy due to the small building compared to other Toys R Us. The place does feel a bit outdated in design as well as upkeep. For example most of their carts were damaged. Otherwise, it is great for what it is -- a one stop place for most of your toy needs at fair prices.

The experience as a whole was good. But be aware, those of you have never done the buy online, pick up in store shopping trip before like I did, this store had moved its Merchandise Pick Up location to the Front of the store, but online and in store maps both say it is at the Back of the store. After wandering the store looking for it and having zero success I was able to track down an employee and he directed me to the Front. When I asked him he just asked a second employee who confirmed it was at Customer Service. Guess what, its a kiosk near Customer Service with a tiny little sign at eye level so if someone stands in front of it you cant see it. You key in your details and a few minutes later another employee shows up with your purchase. That was the easiest part. When I explained the situation to him, and showed him the store map directing me to the back of the store, he was the only one that showed concern that the store was advertising wrong info. Like I said, overall it was good, but clearly when the store makes a change they need to make sure their signs and online info are updatef properly to help those if us who use their service.

They were very helpful andthey actually walked over to what I was looking for. They were very pleasant. The store was clean and well stocked..

EDIT: RIP TRU. :CIve been going to this location for around 5 years now. Never had a bad experience and this is definitely my favorite TRU store in the area.The store is always very clean and organized.Staff is friendly, Ive never met a team member that hasnt been amazing to work with.If youre looking for a clean store with helpful staff, check out this location. :)

Normal Toys R Us. Great selection. Fast service at check out. Difficult to get help on the floor if you cant find something. Signs are not exactly right.

Its a decent store. It needs to be updated I believe. I am happy it is close to where I live as the other location is all the way over in Scottsdale.

Always love going to this place. The staff is very nice. Its a bit smaller than the other locations but I still find what I am looking for.

This is my main location for Toysrus that I shop at and I am so sad that Toysrus is closing! They always have everything I am looking for and they have amazing exclusives for Lego! So sad they wont be able to provide their amazing service anymore! They are liquidating their stores already so you can go in to get a discount before they close soon!

Some of the sweetest managers Ive ever met. The employees always are down to help and smile. No one has ever been rude or dull. The clientele is just really rude, as east Mesa is known to have mostly bigots and illiterate swine for its population. Anyways, cool store here.

2nd edit: I bumped this up another star. Full-time staff is very friendly and there are a few long time employees who are very knowledgeable about products and are on top of thier shipping/delivery schedule. Store is clean and well organized, and Im glad they dont fuss when my little guy wants to ride around and try a few bikes.

This location has signage posted that its closing. Most items are 20% off. Some video games at 30% off. Legos at 10% off. Store is currently almost entirely stocked and has new items, including upcoming movie merch, like Incredibles 2. Limited supply in bikes, and video game accessories. Sales arent even close to black Friday deals yet...

I bought a lot of hot wheels and legos and they had the best selection ever.

I have always liked Toys R Us. But they didnt keep up with the internet business and thats what killed them.

Always have something that I need for my step son or my daughter...love there selection of Gerber foods and adventure toys...never had a bad experience here and always helpful staff...

Large toy store. The amount of help available here greatly varies, but is usually on the low side. The staff that I do find have been extremely helpful and nice.

The store is nightmare, trying to get anyone to help you is horrid, gangs of people just follow employees trying to get help. The lines are even worse, i got in one line with 1 person in front of me and took 25 min for the cashier to process them. I bought a bike there too and was told someone will be there soon with the bike, 35 min later the guy shows up with the bike I paid for. Better make sure you have all the time in the world when you go there because you will be treated like that.

Great store, clean and tidy, large variety and always seems stocked. Store helpers are nice.

Crazy during the holidays but the staff goes above and beyond helping and the registers are appropriately staffed.

Could not find anyone to help with bikes or who knew about them. They are slower than the second coming of christ. The bathroom was so nasty...there was blood on the floor in the larger of the 2 stalls..nowhere clean or safe to put a baby while u go. Just not impressed ...likely will never return to this location ever again. Slow..not clean...ghetto feel in the area.

Love this store! They almost always have the hard to find items i cant get any where else, and customer service is always great!

We went there with our minds set on what we wanted. A nice gentleman helped us find a bike for our son and we were on our way.

Seems small but layout was manageable but there was only one cashier so there was at least 6 people waiting in lin which was about a 30 min wait.

So sad about the store closing. Corporate greed drove this place to despair but on the plus side, no more aisle of crying children being told no.

Enjoyed another free lego build. There was lots of clearance deals as well, and walked out with something for both kids spending under $20.

The place felt super compact, like a warehouse. The people were nice.

Great place to take your kids to check out every toy and go home broke. Only all toy store in Arizona. But really it when a kid can be a kid.

Horrible customer service. I called the store to hold a toy for me because I would be arriving within the next hour and a half. They gladly told me that they would put it on hold. I drove 35 minutes for this toy. When I arrived, they told me they sold the last one 20 minutes ago.

Im always like a big kid in there but the girls bathroom was terrible! Like disgusting...

Toys R Us is of course a dream for any kid, but the prices are rarely in line with the competition. The review is 3 stars because they have what they say they have - tons of toys - but the overall cleanliness of the store could be a little better and they could do a little better in keeping the prices closer to other stores that offer similar toys.

Large selection of stuff for the kids and the kid at heart. Got some items for our kiddos birthday.

The store itself is always neat and clean, but they have one particular lady that answers the phone who is very rude and short when you have questions about an item being in stock.

Sad, to see them go out of business. Amazon just cant give the same experience or the look on a childs face when they see the one gift, they really cant live without.
