Its good.I paid extra for cream and I watched them squrit it on about a Tablespoon worth on top probably less, I wish they would put some half way in the middle.A few times (I been there alot) we have got ice that didnt have any flavoring after the middle of the cup.

I got the sf watermelon and it was so yummy. It tasted like real watermelon. The young lady that helped us was so sweet and cute. She was very kind with a beautiful smile.

This is my number one place to go for Hawaiian ice I prefer the syrups here. My personal favorite is the black cherry. In comparison to other Hawaiian ice snow cone places like Bahama Bucks I actually cant stand the flavor. I highly recommend this nice cute clean location it also has great customer service.

This place is easy to miss if you’re not looking for it ,but definitely worth a visit. Despite being close to closing time,a few cars went through the drive thru.After trying to decide if I wanted to create my own flavor combination, I opted for the Paradise Island which is guava,mango,and coconut cream.It taste like what I imagine an island getaway would taste like.I like that there was a good amount of flavoring added.Nothing worse than eating a shaved ice only to have plain ice left. The flavorings didn’t taste overly fake or chemically either and the ice itself was light and fluffy.

We always get a Groupon when I come here. Its already pretty good pricing. They do the right amount of flavor for the ice. And its a great treat when youre wanting a little bit of a cool down.

It was so hot today and this really hit the spot! There are more flavors/choices than I anticipated and I had a hard time choosing. The gentleman working was happy to recommend his favorites and I went with Strawberry Banana. It was delicious and the portion was perfect for sharing. The color-change spoons are CUTE and your cup comes with a fun sombrero to prevent leaking/melting/messes. Thank you!

I used to like going here but the last 2 times I ordered I only had flavor on the top the rest of my snow cone was just crushed ice with no flavor. Pretty disappointing.

This small shaved ice stand is a no frills kind of place that does one thing, but does it well! Their simple menu lists a variety of combinations of flavors, or you can create your own treat by mixing and matching. A few tables with a limited amount of shade are set up outside, but you could also choose to just drive through. I love the plastic no-spill ring, which makes eating this treat in your car much more manageable.

First time there and absolutely loved it. The service was on point and very friendly. I will be coming back and ordering from you guys again.

Even better than I remember! I went here with friends when I was a child so it was fun to bring one of my own kids for a tasty treat. The coconilla was my pick- vanilla and peach syrups with coconut cream on it.

I went to this little hut with my girls recently and they LOVED IT! The hut is so small it’s easy to miss so don’t be expecting a storefront, it’s literally a hut in a parking lot. My kids had strawberry, pineapple and coconut cream. The service was awesome and my kids loved the color changing spoons! We will be back for more treats soon!

It took me a minute to find this place because it was called Hawaiian shaved ice or something, but its actually Tropical Sno. We got Tigers Blood, and they put our treat in a leak catching container. No more sticky hands! They also have long-handled, color-changing spoons, which made all my childhood dreams come true. It was delicious, my family loved it, and well be back again and again!

Amazing! Very close to the real deal in Hawaii! Its so good, I will still fall off the wagon of eating consciously and have to stop in and get a large shave ice with vanilla ice cream on the botton, Lovers Delight and Pineango(or whatevertropicalflavors I want on the other half, they blend later in the whole way you eat Hawaiian Shave Ice...)you can mix and match more that just one. ALWAYS add the cream or sweetened milk....it takes it to the true North Shore experience.Heading there again today hopefully! We had never had one before and we absolutely LOVED it! We got three flavors ....birthday cake, red raspberry and black cherry and it was so incredibly refreshing and sweet. It was drive thru so we didnt even have to leave our car. This is search up perfect choice, especially for a hot day in Arizona, because a quenches your thirst and satisfies your sweet tooth! Its also shareable when you get the medium!

The woman was very polite and nice. The flavors are AMAZING and PERFECT!!! The snow was very soft and she put flavoring in between each layer of ice which I liked very much. The spoons are color changing and the cup had a little holder just Incase of spills. The topping cream was splendid. And very fluffy! It was the perfect ending to my long warm day. I liked it very much and I am going here everyday and you should too!!!!!!!

The ice is nice and fluffy like it’s supposed to be (rather than grainy), and there were plenty of great flavors to choose from. The girl who helped me was super nice. I’d like to see some options for toppings like li hing mui powder, but they’re a tiny drive through spot and the person working has to help both the walk up window on one side and the drive through on the other, so there probably isn’t room to do a lot more than the basics. Extra points for calling it shave ice! (NOT shaveD ice).

This was my first visit so I asked the employee what his favorite flavor was, and he made me a Lima colada, strawberry with cream creation that was AMAZING!! I’ll be back again!!

This little booth has great shaved ice. They put in lots of flavoring and the ice is shaved perfectly for eating. And they have very funky cool no-spill cups.

We cant get enough snow cones! So good all year round. Love the softness of this ice making it much easier to eat than other places. Tons of flavors to choose from and love the little overflow piece so my kids dont drop their ice everywhere. Will be back!

Back in NY we have an Italian Ice place called Ralphs all homemade with fresh fruit etc. This was the first time Ive tasted the shaved ice and I have to admit on an extremely hot day, its quite refreshing!

The shave ice was delicious! A great treat for such a hot summer day. Downfall was it was 109 degrees outside, 2 cars in front of us and we ended up waiting in line for over 20 minutes!!!!

Great customer service. The lady at the window was super patient and calm as we were trying to hear our boys change their mind for the bazillionth time. She even put them each in their own cup for them. Highly recommend!

A little pricey, but very good snow cones. depends on who is working on the quality of your snow cone AND when you go. if its late, ready to close, you get what you get, but if its during the day the quality seems to be better. and you are not always guaranteed one of those drip cups, so be warned, they can be messy. we stopped by and the ice machine was broken so the lady gave us coupons. it was SO nice and not necessary. but we love coming and usually make it a habit during the summer. glad to have one nearby.

This is a great little place. Yummy shave ice and great flavors. I am giving it 4 stars because as I was trying to get out of my car some big grey truck pull up so close to us we could barely get out of the car. She was on her phone and she got out of her truck and walked up to the building and unlocked the little door to get in so it was obvious she worked there. She completely ignored me and my daughter as she went in, not a hi or I am sorry for almost swishing you with my big truck, nothing. But the young lady that did help us was friendly and patient with my daughter who couldnt make up her mind.

Love this place! The shaved ice is so light and soft, and I LOVE that they give you a shield over the edge of the cup so it doesn’t get everywhere.

Our little guy is 2 and can’t enjoy dairy treats due to allergies. Luckily we found this tiny spot - tips: it’s a drive through so we didn’t have to worry about getting out the car in the sun with him. It’s a snow cone spot with a lot of flavors! So glad we found it, we shall be back.

New owner bought this place yesterday 2/1/19 and she is incredibly nice and super friendly. They are open from 12-6 7 days a week but she said once summer hits they’ll be open longer. Honestly for a small which is only $3.75 is way more then enough. This is the best shaved ice place in the valley way better then Bahama bucks and so so much cheaper and I’m so glad there open 7 days a week now. Highly recommended

First time at Tropical Sno in Mesa. It was great! The guy was friendly and made us a gigantic blue raspberry snow cone. Tasted great, especially in the heat and loved the spill proof cup for the kids!

What a hidden gem! I’ve been passing this little hut for years! Finally took my son to get one today and yum! Mind blown! Ordered peachcoconilla (which is just fun to say) and we could not get enough of it! A medium was plenty enough to share and me and my son are already planning to go back! Tropical Sno is the only shave ice I get nothing else, once you taste it there wont be any other shave ice youll want to get. The tables with umbrellas outside are really cute for the small shack.I believe it is closed during the winter.Its under new management so unlike previous past reviews you will find it open during the summer and youll be able to see their business hours.

They have a drive-thru!!! That was a smart move on their part! Most people prefer drive thru’s these days, so they don’t have to exit their car. Especially in the hot Summer! 😝. It makes me sad to give this low review because I love the product here...many options and all delicious flavors. But I dont think Ill be going back. The last few times have been not good as far as customer service. Went about a month ago and the person there was so rude and off putting. But I figure...we all have off days so no biggie. Went yesterday and there was a sign saying back in 5 minutes. I waited atleast 20, along with some other patrons showing up and waiting soon after. When I get to the window to place my order the girl there was very kind. Apologized for the wait then took and made my order. I drive off and get halfway home before discovering there was no syrup flavoring in the bottom 2/3 of my snow cone. The ice was completely white (and I had ordered grape with lime and watermelon...so that should definitely not be the case.) I dont live super close and upon discovering the mistake realized it would be closed so there was no point in driving all the way back. Im disappointed cause as I said, the product is great...but I cant afford to drive a significant distance to get rude service or incorrectly made products. 😔***Update:(I am sorry but there is no other way to respond when the owner responds to you.) Thank you for the message! I appreciate it and can completely understand different circumstances can have a lot to do with how things turn out. Either way, I hope things get better and turn around for you in the best way. Although, idk how I would redeem free snos upon returning. :-/ Anybody can walk or drive up and say they are supposed to get some but would be out of luck with no proof. Just a thought.
