Store is clean they have disinfecting stations throughout the storewith antibacterial gel and wipes for our safety. I really thought that was great od them.to.think about everyones safety. Anything you can possibly imagine for party favors and decorations is available here place is big and spacious, customer service is awesome, they are very courteous and professional. Lots of different colors to choose from in tableware items and ofcourse balloons lots of balloons in many different themes. This place is so fun to shop I enjoy it every time i visit them.

My experience with this location is terrible. I ordered a bouquet of balloons for $8.55 and asked if they inflated my own balloon, sales associate said no problem, bring in and we will inflate at a charge, which I did not have any problem with, but failed to advise that their will be a 2 1/2 hour wait. By the way I waited 20 minutes in line to place that order. I understand that the weekend is busy but when I went up to the counter to ask for my order, a woman 30+ years, heavy set w/black hair that works there answered and rudely said that they were busy made a face and in really nasty tone told me there is a long wait. Didn’t even apologize or anything. Terrible customer service, staffing issues. Zero stars! Not ever coming back to this location and never stepping into a party city ever!

I placed an order online for pickup. My mom went to pick it up and they told her it was cancelled. I was on the phone with her and told them I did not get a single email or refund. They were trying to give me the run around of their issues with online whatever. My mom asked if she could just get another order and they said no because they were too busy - no apology or anything. Fine, I place and order at a different location. Suddenly I get a text saying my order is ready? Only **1** balloon was out of stock, otherwise the rest was ready. HOW TF-- I call them back and tell them and again, no apology, no Im sorry for the confusion. They were so whatever about it.

Exceptionally Great Customer Service. Eric assisted with one of my balloon orders. He was very helpful, detailed and provided great customer service. Staff was friendly, professional & helpful. Balloons were delivered on time. I had a wonderful experience at this location.

DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!I placed an order for pick-up (I actually had to place it at two different stores, this being one of them) and when I arrived, I was told they only had 1 of the 3 items I ordered and the other 2 were cancelled. I said I never received a phone call or email saying the items were cancelled (the other store did call me to say that one of the items I order through them was out of stock and emailed me a cancellation confirmation). They said I should get a refund in 3-5 business days. I was just about to leave when I went to the section of the store that should have the remaining 2 items I needed, and lo and behold, they were there. I went up to the cashier again and she said I had to talk to the manager. He told me that no I couldnt just take the items because they had cancelled the ones on my online order, so I would have to pay for these ones...even after I explained there was no cancellation email. And of course he didnt apologize, he was just rude. I reluctantly bought the items from them and as soon as I got home I reached out to customer service. They informed me that no, the items were NOT cancelled. They reached out to the store (which by the way I had just left about 30 minutes prior) and the store said I had picked up the entire order!!!! Luckily, customer service was able to process a refund for me after some back and forth. However, I will NEVER shop at this store again!! And I recommend no one else places online orders with them either because they are clearly trying to rip people off.

Went to purchase pastry boxes for pies they were out of them. Only one cashier, but check out went quickly. Store was neat clean and not crowded.

We walked in to smiles and helpful faces. On this trip I had 4 kids, well 5 including my girlfriend 😁. We really enjoyed ourselves in this store. I played around with the masks, looked for Halloween costumes. The staff even recommended a few things. I admit we mustve stayed for at least 20 mins. The best part about it, the whole time it was hassle free. If we did have a question a staff memeber wasnt far away. This is the type of place I would really recommend and visit again to spend my hard earned money.

Even though the place was packed, weekend before Halloween, the line moved fast. Management is great here. Keeps the place clean, the stock was where it was supposed to be, nicely stocked. Good place to get party supplies, from balloons to tablecloths and everything in between.

A good place to get party supplies but at times customer service can be improved.. also call first if you need balloons. Balloon helium sometime is out of stock.

While there was an excellent selection of items Im disappointede that their aisles are a little difficult to walk through. I wish things were more organized because I found myself just wandering around looking for the items I needed.Also, the only staff was at the front and no one asked if I needed helped. When I did finally get to the front with my stuff the clerks werent in the mood for talking/answering questions so I just got my items and left.Also, if you are ordering balloons try and order ahead of time. I needed one but since there was a lady ahead of me that ordered well over 30 balloons they couldnt do one and it was going to be a 30min wait.All in all theyre not really customer service oriented. If you know what youre looking for then great, otherwise youre on your own. I did see a flyer that you can shop online and pick up in store, I think Ill do that next time.

This was my first time, shopping 4 a costume @ party city, and didnt ,have a Problem, finding what I was looking 4... the employees was helpful as well.

Not a great experience. Theyve the regular cards mixed in with the dollar cards.Theyre not very nice about it nor sorry. If it states $1.00 thats what you pay customers are aware of which ones are the cheaper ones or which name brands they are.

Bad customer service.

Horrifying place. They literally make you feel like you’ve stopped them from curing a rare disease when you ask them to help you find something in the store. Customer service? That’s certainly not what that job description must say when they forbhelp wanted.

Both toilets were full of hand paper towel inside the toilets. There was no toilet paper nor hand soap. The floor was dirty & just dont know how someone can work in a store with such dirty toilets. Why cant a big company hire a cleaning person? Im a 63 yr old woman who had to go to Target to use the bathroom & then come back to Party City to shop. Guess Ill have to shop in chicago, there bathrooms are clean.

After a horrible experience at the Berwyn Party City I came here where the employees were very helpful and patient. I put in an order for balloons and the lady that helped me helped me get the lowest price possible and then gave a 20% coupon. Although she was busy she made me feel like she cared about my needs. Thank you to her (Blonde lady).

4 people were standing around and I asked if I can pay for something. The manager turned and said, in an annoyed tone, yeah she’ll be right with you.. the teller was still busy with something else before she came around.

“Jessica” refused to fill up any balloons @6:40pm because as she said “ we are about to close” @7pm . I did not know party city had a policy for not filling balloons up 20 minutes before they close. This is the last time I will be going to party city in Melrose. Brickyard always has A1 Customer Service.

Easy finds and great customer service

Remember coming here for a few things for a party and I see why they call it party city everything you need for a party is in this store you wont need to go to more stores then just this one and if you do then your not shopping at party city because everything you need is right here.

Party City is a go to for celebration supplies. I was a little disturbed that they didnt have any helium the day that I was there. They sell helium tanks, but they couldnt inflate any balloons for customers. I was forced to buy a balloon on a stick. Not happy!

Bought two number balloons for a birthday, as soon as I got outside one of the numbers flew into the air and the strings were still in my hand. Meaning the girl who blew the balloons up, didn’t secure the strings to the balloon tight enough. I was lucky enough to grab one of the numbers before it flew away. Waste of money because they are out of that particular number that flew away in all surrounding party cities.

I mean its no spirit Halloween when it comes to quality costume but its okay
