Went to take advantage of a sale on last minute Halloween decor. Not much left which I expected but got some great items to finish out my scene for 50% off so I was happy. Also had previously joined their reward program which helped me save even more.

This place is has definitely become a safe space for me after the workers helped me out the last time I went. This Michaels is well organized and clean, even in the gitter and art aisle witch I would suspect could get dirty quickly. Really great spot for a quick project as everything is clearly labeled, all I have to do is read the large overhead signs and I know where I need to go for what. If your looking for some cute home decor also this is conveniently located right by the door and always catches my eye. This Michaels always seems to have a wide variety of decor that could really make a great statement in any home.

Absolutely love Michaels, they have everything I need for my artist needs from canvas, paint markers, gold foil to wax and washi tape. Always an adventure when I go in! (Everything to create this artwork was purchased at micheals)

The employees were very helpful in helping me find the right shadow box for a canvas I had made for my mother in-law passing, they didnt want me to get the wrong size so they opened 1 to make sure of the size. I loved the price also. They have discounts for their grand opening Amazing

Some of the rudest staff and management! When I walk away from a cart of things that took me an hour to fill, you know its bad. Even the store manager was completely rude. I have spent many hours and loads of hard earned money in that store but I will never again darken their doorstep. Looks like I cross the street to the other craft store. Cheaper and much much more pleasant and helpful

Place looks great after the remodeling! It was very busy so checkout took a little while.

Art supplies for aisles and aisles.I discovered this store so many years ago and it has been there through my embroidery, crochet, cricut paper crafting, drawing and painting phases. Ordering online and picking up in the store makes it easy because when I go in I tend to buy more when I look around too much.The cons to going here would be the cute wooden wall art signs and other cheap decorations are not very good quality so I stick to art and party supplies when I shop here

I was really happy to see Michaels back up and running. They currently seem a bit sparse on merchandise but I can see this being temporary till their stock all comes in (hopefully). Note that the Floorplan has changed, so it might be a search for what you need.

This store is fantastic. The employees were great. I can only stand for short periods of time so I had to use a wheelchair and the employee even offered to help me to my car.

They have 80% off of spring/summer foliage right now. Grabbed a bunch for some later crafts

Completely renovated after the storm right back to the same old Michaels. Lots of people expected improvements but its just the same old Michaels you find everywhere and the bathroom still smells and is kinda gross. Staff friendliness/ helpfulness is hit and miss depending on who is there.

I like the layout of the store since the Derecho forced remodel.

Very disappointed. We orswrs a framed custom picture for my sons birthday. We ordered this April 24th and we were told it would be ready May 8th. May 8th comes around and my wife comes in and pic is not ready. We were told that a a few days later pic.would be ready and to call. We called and the season told us that we would get a call back. We never received a call back . May 15th and we came into store to.demand to know whats going in. Pic is not done and we got.our money back. Not cool. Waste of time. Very half asked apology. Manager could not cared less about our waste of time.

We went intothe storeto getfloss for my x-stitch. Micheals doesnt carry it anymore. Very disappointing. Iwould give a 7 for that. The people working there are helpful and real friendly.

Nice renovation of the store had what I needed

I can almost always count on Michaels to have what I need. Im decorating a frame in a winter theme and they had at least six snowflake choices. I also got some pretty Swarovski crystals that were buy one, get one half off. The stickers were buy two get one free. Id much rather support Michaels. Hobby Lobby moved in not too far from them and I think it has hurt their business. Ive long been a fan of Michaels.

Something for everyones talents

They have all your craft supplies you would ever need. As well as frames. I wished they had a sewing area. This is a great store. Sadly the one I go to in Cedar Rapids had a lot of damage. During the strange land hurricane in Iowa. I see they are emptying the store. I am afraid they are closing this store. Now I will have travel a lot further. As it is this is a half hour from my home. Now I may have to travel close to an hour to the next store. So sad 😪.

I always spend too much money here. But its always on paint brushes. They have the best brush selection by far. I dont even bother buying sets online anymore, when I can get them in town for a better quality. Their paint can be a bit pricey, especially if you buy a lot at once to build a stock of your own, but know it is quality, no matter what level of artist you are.

We found what we needed. Cashier wait time longer than expected but within reason.

Curb side options have been great for me as a single mom with a 1 year old as I don’t want him going into stores at this time. I ordered 5 items 4 hours ago and still haven’t received anything saying they are ready. I ordered 3 letters in one order and had to make a second order since i forgot to get 2 other items. When I called they placed me hold and then had someone else answer and said that they are searching to see if they have 1 of the items and that it might be canceled. I ordered something that said it was in stock otherwise i wouldn’t have even placed the order. I asked if i should plan on my order not even being ready today and he couldn’t answer it. Definitely the longest curbside order experience so far. The guy said well after 6 you’ll have to come in the store, sorry for your situation..... and of course. They send my confirmation that my 2nd order is ready 5 minutes before their 6pm cut off time for curbside... how convenient

Seems like it’s going downhill. Shelves are empty, items are marked wrong, employees on their phones while on the sales floor. However, staff is kind.

I always love going here. Its organized, but almost a little too organized. It took me looking in six different spots that had glue for me to find the correct basic Elmers Glue I needed. I love finding the Hidden Treasures.

Yes great selections and lots of stuff and some prices are pretty good. But its pointless if I cant get a wheelchair up and down the isles with out scraping my hands. Some isles are not wide enough at all then three isles were blocked with their big ladders another isle had several carts with stock in them. Told the cashier and shes like yeah but have a nice day. So not much point in going if I cant get up and down the isles.

Very nice craftstore. The shop is very big and you can choose about ton of crafts or frames.

I swear I could spend three hours in this place and still run across something I overlooked the first and second go round.

The people there are always so lovely. Ive never had an issue with shopping at Michaels.

I love Michaels, the only problem is is that I dont get the often enough. I love all the products and the store is always so clean and organized. The staff members are always friendly and they have amazing sales. Definitely recommend them all the time.

Love this place

The prices are expensive for what you get, but the selection is hard to beat. I really enjoy when they have sales, but some of the staff can be rude.We will probably never attend another kids craft event. The last one was led by a lady who was blatantly rude to my kids and she refused to allow one of my kids to participate (he was 2, but the craft was basically decorating a simple thing). Other families had children of the same age participating.

Lost of craft and projects to do .if your wanting something to do they have a good over all selection of items.

Michaels offers curbside when you order onlinewell this Michaels didnt complete the process to let me know order was filled & ready for pick up. Plus there curbside procedure here needs alot of work. you need to call the main # wait through the prompts than placed on hold for them to get to you. and wait 5 mins to get your stuff after you have to hunt them down since they were trying to take your stuff to someone else. it would have been faster for me to walk in and get all of my stuff of the shelves.

Ordered an item online to be picked up in the store. Arrived at store and they were out. Apparently they only carry one of that item. But found a substitute and with the coupons they always have, I was still able to get a decent price. And they were friendly.

First time back to Michaels since it reopening was very disappointed in what was available as far as merchandise goes in the store I dont think well be back used to be one of are favorite stores to go to for crafts and supplies

Found what I needed. Hard to know if your getting a good deal since things like glue are in all different sections so walk around! other than the check outs I didnt see anyone to ask and the people at the checkouts were rightfully giving all their attention to the people in line. Other wise its a good clean store, good quality products, and unique craft items.

This is an awesome craft store. The employees are always so helpful and the 80s music they play in the store is great! So many cool things to look at and be inspired by.

The lady working there was so understanding and helpful. I didnt know exactly what I needed, she tried to help as best she could. I did not feel as if she was judging me and didnt make me feel awkward. I am very appreciative of her and hope if I need help in the future she is available again.Michaels is a great store just so much there its not always easy to know exactly where to go to search for what you need and it has such a variety of things you can most always find what you are looking for.Also if you just have an idea, you can usually find things that make that idea come together as a finished project.Love this store.Happy crafting to one and all.

Very nice store

It was pretty close to closing that I went in with my mom to get stuff I could paint. The staff was really kind and everything was easy to find, only difficult part was choosing what I wanted to paint!

Michaels is a great craft store, but it is kind of expensive, in my opinion. But if you sign up for their emails youll get lots of 40% off or more coupons and plenty of other deals which help bring them down to a more reasonable price. I would check online or make sure to grab a flyer before shopping there unless you dont mind paying full price.

Brought in a painting I wanted framed. The painting was already matted, I was told that I wouldn’t be charged for it, I sure hope I was charged for it because it was outrageously priced and the associate helping me wasn’t very polite. The backing they put on the back of the frame is loose and bulging. They had the painting for two weeks so it wasn’t a rushed framed project! Very disappointed, will not be going back!

Not staffed well enough, and the lady that helped us did not seem to care about working there. The custom frames we were looking at were nice, but apparently out of stock. She said they dont have a way to see the next shipment or place an order.

Nice selection of craft supplies; big, clean store. They have good sales on seasonal items often which they put out in the aisles for easy access.

The store is a little bit upgrade and redesign. The staffs are awesome and really helpful. We like to shop and browse here.

I usually dont have a problem there,but today, I got charged for 3 skeins, and I only got 2. I have to go back, and its the crazy holiday season. They werent on sale, either.

I love shopping here, as do my mother and grandmother. Sometimes it can get expensive, but the finished product is worth the expense. For example, the yarn I like is $5-$6 per skein and pretty small, but I make the softest crocheted blankets out of it!

Great store with a little bit of everything for your craft needs. Didnt see many employees on the floor. The cashier was friendly. The prices are a bit higher than other stores.

We were looking for something specific and it was close to closing time. The staff was limited however the gal waiting on us was over-the-top helpful & friendly (with a sense of humor) in finding what we needed.

Like the store but sometimes hard to find what you are looking for. Lots of times I stand in checkout line forever, since theres only 1 cashier. They do call backup after the line is so long youve grown whiskers. But I do like the store.
