Nita just saved the day!!! I woke this morning to realize that my battery charger was not working correctly. In a panic, I could not find my receipt. I called the store to see what I could do and Nita told me to bring the charger in and she would help me out.I was in the store no longer than 10 minutes and walked out with a brand new charger! Thankfully I had bought the extended warranty when I first purchased it! I of course bought the warranty again lol.Thanks so much Nita for making it so easy! I really appreciate the wonderful customer service. I will be a life long customer for sure!!!

Customer service is second to none, during my recent vacation in Marathon, fl. I visited the West Marine there and every employee that passed by me or saw me stopped to see if I needed any help. This store in Marathon, FL went above and beyond! I saw a Columbia dress I wanted but they didn’t have my size. My boyfriend inquired if we could have one shipped from another store to our home in Virginia. Margaret found it in key west and islamorada and got their delivery truck to pick it up. I had it that afternoon and wore it that night! Awesome service!

This is a good one with friendly staff.

If you need fishing gear or overpriced coolers, theyve got you covered. If you want closed toe mens sandals to fend off the lobsters, then look elsewhere (they had only one style, only size 8).

The staff was more than capable in their abilities. We call the head saying that we needed oil. They went ahead and set the last one aside for us and had it ready when we arrived. Amazing.

West Maine is a good place if you absolutely have to have it today. There pricing is WAY out of line with the rest of the world. Fortunately they currently price match Amazon which too a roll of wire from $37 to $12. Oil priced matched was 2.5 gallons for $76 to 5 gallons for $63. Always see if they are price matching

Selection for the most part was fine. Had everything youd need for a west marine. You cant say its pricey but not quality.

There is always someone in here that knows how to answer questions and get you what you need. Great store. A little pricey but, everything in here is top quality so, if youre into things that will last and built right, look no further.

Very helpful staff and they have a greater selection of sailboat parts and other things than most West Marine stores, for instance I could find rebuild kit for my hand winch on my sailboat. They also carried a tube cap to cover the place where you inflate the tube for the end of my Walker Bay dinghy tube which would be very unusual to find in most stores

I dont expect much customer service from any West Marine store but the Marathon store is the absolute worst! I give it 1 star because I cant give it zero.

Find a local marine shop. Bought a transom plug down in big pine, because they only had one. Bought the same exact one here for twice the price. If your going to have young people work your registers, at least make them personable and not stuck on their phones.

They warranty policy is difficult to understand.Theyre electronic system doesnt record everything.

In these Amazon Days its nice to walk into a marine supply store to browse and buy. The employees (Associates) are always very nice and helpful.

Helpful and really nice staff. Stopped in to pickup a GPS part and brought my in-laws. One of the gentleman on the floor was super helpful when my father-in-law decided to browse their sunglasses. Spent time with him and gave some good insights on lenses and UV protection ratings.

Called to get a price on an anchor and got put on hold twice. I finally gave up and hung up after 15 MINUTES! TERRIBLE customer service! Headed to Bass Pro!

The staff at West Marine is so professional!! I had a problem with my bilge pump and float switch not working. I took my defective parts to them and I was instantly hooked up with new pump and float switch. Big thank you to Chet for handling my problem so immediately!!I was very grateful as this problem occurred just before closing!

You this location has some amazing finds or your average voter. Everything from solar lighting to inflatable dinghy. The pricing is quite high, but thats expected for a specialty store. The staff are very helpful and the store is very clean. I come here for all my heart to find a boating items.

Decent selection, but prices are pretty high for most tackle. No real deals to be had except for a good case price for 6 blocks of chum at $35.

Im a professional marine engineer and all purchases from West Marine are now banned among our small company (73 employees) I dont care how bad the emergency is, we will find another solution.

Can be found towns near the water. All kinds of marine equipment.

Clean and organized store, clean bathrooms, and a very friendly staff. They have a vending machine for drinks instead of those mini fridges which I thought was weird, but it was operational.The dressing room could be a little sturdier since it looked a little make-shifty for a store in this price range. They spool your reels here, but in our case they accidentally put the wrong line on, which we didnt find out until we were in the heat of Mahi fishing which was... problematic.Would go back, but will hit some of the stores in Homestead for the pricey stuff before going down because this store is already expensive, but then add on the Keys location surcharge and it adds up.

West Marine can be a bit pricy and Home Depot just down the road has some of the more common items. However I needed some 1 gauge marine tinned wire and lugs. I was able to buy the wire and lugs and used their inhouse fabrication bench to assemble the wiring cable and crimp the lugs.

Had an issue with a phone order where a product didnt arrive on time and was put in touch with an employee named Dean. He made phine calls non stop for 2r hours helping me figure out what happened and provided excellent customer service until we resolved the issue. Great employee great customer service.

These guys really know their stuff! The customer service is very good. Todd is helpful and knowledgeable about the marine industry, particularly electronics. You can find some pretty good deals with the managers specials.

Great folks but the prices are still high compared to online (which I know is not a fair comparison) but and offline in a 50 mile radius. But the folks are nice.

This is a well manned store. Lots of help, by primarily sailors. Live a boards. So you need a part for your boat, theres someone there that can find it for you. What to catch dinner? Well theres someone who has been catching thier dinner for some time in the same waters that you are about to sail and this individual can point you to the lure your looking for. Some hardware is a bit over priced down here. And if you really enjoy treasure hunt, you can beat them on a lot of items. So treasure hunt on land ? Or get that boat going and look for your own booty? Im there 3 times a week or more. Hey I own a boat.

Curt Clark the manager and his staff their are some of the most helpful people who treated a complete stranger like family and really cared about a customer he never met.I work for The Boat House of Naples Florida and one of my customers took delivery of a Scout 275 Dorado on Friday before Christmas and headed to the Keys with his family for the Holiday season. His Garmin screen went down and through many discussions with Garmin we found the unit needed to be replaced I called this West Marine and asked if they could help with replacement under warranty. They took very good care of us and said send the customer over we will make it right so he can get back on the water and enjoy his Holiday. In out friendy people have little bit of everything

West Marine is a little spendy but have a lot of variety for the boater in need like parts, clothing, fishing and electronics. Occasionally they have some really good sales.
