Good selection of organic and natural food, including meat, dairy and produce from local farms. Staff is friendly and helpful. I was disappointed that you cant bring your own container for the bulk section (they cant do tare weights) and are supposed to use plastic bags, which kind of negates the purpose for me.

Need something to eat for the road this has great items to,select from. If you only purchase plastic free they have bulk, soap by the inch, fresh produce and several other things to choose from. I use homeopathic remedies, rescue remedies and herbal tinctures. They have them all and the prices are comparable to local health food stores.You may pay a little more at local specialty stores but it’s worth not having to wait for an online order to arrive. Not to mention the waste of that box it comes in.Remember ordering online may be less $ because they buy in large quantities which allows them to sell for less.I prefer to have the item in my hand when I need it.Pictured are quinoa bites, soaps, chocolates, homeopathic and rescue remedy products, and even cell salts! Wish I knew more about them.Only downside, I have actually driven passed this store several times and this was the first time I (we)noticed the sign. Due to full parking in front of Nepalese restaurant.I will shop here again :)

I used to be a regular customer here but was kicked out for not wearing a mask. I have breathing issues and am not willing to risk my health to shop at a health food store. Will never come here or recommend this place again.

My doctor wants me to take Ginger Root. So of course I thought of A1. I spoke with Tyler on the phone, he got me the prices and ingredients. I drove over and entered the store and heard his voice. He came to show me the different products and their special ingredients making my decision much easier. I then asked about a gluten free chip like product with no rice, corn or potato, no grains, beans or beets. He found Plant Snacks. I bought 2 bags. I am sitting by the fireplace. cozy under a blanket enjoying the closest thing to a chip since my diet changed. I cant tell you how happy I am. My diet changes have been difficult but with the help of Tyler I feel more normal again. His knowledge was amazing and his caring manner really helped. I go to your store with questions and it is nice to know your staff is well trained and so pleasant. Please tell him how happy I am with my purchases and will return for more. Cindy

Expensive, but they do offer some products that you cannot find in other stores locally. Staff is always friendly, cheerful and helpful. I enjoy going in for a cup of fresh, organic hot coffee in the mornings as an alternative to other well known franchise coffee shops. Locally sourced, organic and fair trade outsourced, the quality you just cant compare!

Pretty okay. Its small location means it has a limited selection. Id probably shop there more if the location was a bit better for me.

It is the go to place for organic food. Plenty of parking. The staff is very helpful. Been going there for years. There is a station for hot delicious soups. There are many herbal tinctures and the like. Good hours. It is a little pricey but comparable to other such places. Its wirth a try.

I’m always pleased to shop A-1 for my groceries. It is the most reliable store for all my family’sneeds.The clientele are polite and very knowledgeable of their products.

Although many say its expensive here, they do offer rewards, and lots of items other stores do not carry. Also, great to have near by when in need for a quick bite. Soups, salads, wraps and sandwiches are all pretty good. My friend purchased a couple muffins here too and said they were delish. :) staff here are friendly and helpful as well.

Love that they bring in fresh organic produce, raw milk and other items from local farms. Their vegan muffins are amazing! Their point system and reward and email receipt are great! The knack is to buy their sale items and shop on their double point days.They can keep paper bags in the bulk session to reduce plastic wastage. They can keep eco-friendly parchment bags/ brown paper bags near the pastries. It will be good if they can add a water station.They can give ‘bring your bag’ discounts like other shops. They should allow customers to buy kombucha in any 16oz container.

I love this place. Although some of their prices for their organic food is higher than the regular grocery store they have some of the best snacks and amazing homemade soups. I highly recommend stopping here to check out their big selection of stuff. Their truffles are my favorite.

Beware though that some things are overpriced and can be found much cheaper elsewhere, especially since the popularity of organic and non-GMO food has grown quite a bit, I mostly go here for specific choices that cannot be purchased elsewhere or the quality isnt that great . I do like that they offer double points day, even though they decreased the times per year and I am not sure why.

Generally dont shop here. Was looking for a specific item and didnt locate it. That being said they have a wonderful supply of all natural items. Definitely is my yardstick if I need to find a special item

Love going in there for lunch ( since I work local ). They have premade muffins , soup, sandwiches, snack etc. To grab and go, for people like me who make a lunch and forget it on the counter at home. They really make a normal portion. The muffins are alittle big but you dont have to eat it all, Or you can share it !!

As a health food store connoisseur, I can say with certainty this place is top notch! Not necessarily a place youd go for lunch as there isnt a deli, but they do have great rotating soups (which you can find out flavors of on their FB page menu tab or by calling & listening to a recorded message.) One is always vegan. Also a rotating selection of muffins, and great coffee. There is a section of pre-made food, like sandwiches, wraps, egg salad/tofu-egg salad, hummus, kale salad, etc. which are all yummy but I avoid as I am committed to not buying things in single use plastic containers.There is always a rotation of items on sale. The bulk selection is awesome, with competitive prices, and there are many items sprinkled around the store for sampling (yum!!) The staff is super helpful and kind. Produce is fresh and appealing. Lots of local goods. A great frequent shopper program (spend $500 and get $25.)The bad news? I no longer live in the area. But I DO still make trips back, specifically to stock up on items I cant find in my new hometown.Ive actually met girlfriends here to have social shopping dates with. Easy to do since its rarely crowded in the way that Whole Foods is, and is a nice easy going atmosphere. No seating available though.

I go here every week to pick up the foods I ate daily! They have a great selection of pre made quick meals, a amazing soup station with 2 or more kinds! (They list the soups for the day on their website!) The produce selection is always bright, fresh and consistent! They have some great organic brands and options I cant find even at the larger whole food stores. Did I mention all the workers are helpful and nice! I love that they encourage small changes too like asking if you want a reciept, not using plastic bags and carrying milk you can bring back the bottle with a deposits!

I come here for the excellent bulk foods section. This is the closest place to the millyard that I know of to buy many of the specialty items here. And I think the bulk items are very reasonably priced.

Very expensive. Used to carry organic grapeseed oil. Now just carries “natural” , what ever that means. Staff is still and has always been very pleasant, but Amarket no longer carries many of the products I have always purchased there in the past and i have had to go elsewhere for what i need. ☹️

There produced is always fresh . Great soups and salads to grab and go.

Used to be a decent place. It has gone quite downhill in the last 8 months to a year. So expensive and it seems the fruit I have gotten there is not so good as it used to be. I just threw out a whole pineapple as it was very brown on the inside. I will probably only continue to use their bulk spice section.

Great store, prices could be a smidge cheaper in comparison to whole foods. But remember, whole foods is further away (especially if you live in Manchester). They also offer organic and grass fed local beef, local chicken, local eggs, local milk, etc. I deducted one star solely due to price.Staff is great, so apparently they have done something different since a few years ago when someone complained about staff/management.Also, looking at The Knows past reviews, she hates everything apparently, so Id take her review with a grain of salt. You cant please everybody. Ive shopped here several times with no issues!
