I always enjoy shopping at my local Zales. The entire staff is very helpful and friendly. My favorite salesperson is Pearl and I always go to her when I need jewelry for my wife. Pearl is always friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I wont go anywhere else to buy my jewelry.

Customer service? What customer service.. had to have a ring I purchased from zales sent back for warranty repair.. took over 4 months for me to get back cause no one ever called when it came in...had to send back the same day I went to get it back cause it was not repaired.. was promised multiple things, never came thru on those.. called and never could get a manager to talk to...maybe they dont actually have a manager?.... was told regional manager would call me about the multiple issues.. never recieved a call from anyone at all... finally got ring back fixed and left and will never step foot back in that store...maybe never in a zales ever again.. ive had better customer service at Walmart

I didn’t purchase my items in store, I shopped online. I purchased a ring it came through the mail and it was fake and I have been waiting almost two months for a refund. Many days calling, many hours spending time waiting for a representative and still no resolution. I’m am highly upset and disappointed and I will NEVER order anything from ZALES ONLINE again!

Unfortunately this isnt a good review..the initial purchasing of my ring was awesome, as the purchasing of an engagement ring should be. But thats where it ends. In the year Ive had my ring Ive only worn it a few months at best. The worst thing to happen was they coated my ring in a silver plating which covered the OBVIOUS rose gold center. So as soon as I picked it up I was leaving it again. So I got it back today and well, the inside has huge chips and buff marks on it. I told my fiancee that im pretty much over it. The excitement of the perfect ring is gone for me. I really hate writing bad reviews like this but I feel like for a profession such as this its important to get it right. And if not offer some compensation for large scale dissatisfaction

Probably one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had at a retail location of this caliper. Fortunately, I purchased my engagement ring at another Zales location, which was far superior in basically every aspect of the customer experience. The Lynchburg location made sure to ruin that fairly quickly. All together, between the engagement ring and the wedding band, I visited the store 7 times for re-sizing, as they could never seem to get it quite right. Every time I revisited the location, I was advised that my account could not be found and that theyre computer system must be on the fritz again. Likely story. Most recently, one of the employees at the store advised me that my ring could be re-sized(for the third time) on sight. I was apprehensive and for good reason. The condition it was returned to me in could be considered poor at best. Please, if you are considering purchasing a piece of jewelry that will ultimately mean something to you or your spouse, consider another store. There are plenty more to choose from.

I dont understand what these employees were thinking/doing. If I was a manger I would have been livid. Ive had good and bad jewelry purchasing experiences, but this was by far the worst. My fiancé and I went into this Zales the other day to look at a few wedding bands we liked. There was a few others waiting and people being assisted so I understood they were a little busy, but heres where it got me. We didnt even get acknowledged when we walked in the door. No hello, hey, well be with you in a moment. We walked around a bit looking at things in the cabinet and in the brochure booklets, still not a word to us. Then, when a sales girl finished with one couple, she proceeded to help another employee fix a watch. The way this girl worked on this watch made me cringe. She was yanking on a link pin like she was pulling a nail out of a board with a pair of pliers and using the cabinet door to try and shove it back in. The heck I would ever bring my stuff in to get repaired here. Then, the other girl employee that needed help fixing the watch pin proceeded to stand there for 10+ min watching the repair while other customers just stood around the counters waiting to be helped. Who does that??? Go help other people! It only takes one person to work on this freakin watch! Still not a word to us so, we said screw it and left. Never ever have I walked in a jewelry store and not been acknowledged. Those people want to make a sale. This store? I guess not so much. Prices do not match the service here.

Please never use this store . My husband purchased a wedding set here a few years back and that transaction was fine . November 2017 of last year we went to use their “trade program” and purchase a new ring and after numerous mix ups and mess ups between Whitney and Daila I decided to get a refund for our purchase and take my business elsewhere . After getting my refund complete on April 17th 2018 (documentation in hand) I’m told today April 19th 2018 that was not done right . Now how convenient now that they have my money tied up and the merchandise is finally here after almost 6 months I’m told I have to wait yet again for them to figure out how to release my husbands money or see if they can give me the merchandise . Now I “the customer “ have a lot of money tied up with them and have to wait yet again for them to sort it out ! Totally unacceptable ! After reading other reviews on this site it seems this specific location has a lot of the same issues with numerous customers . Maybe Zales needs to look into training their employees properly Before putting the on the floor . Oh FYI I had an employee tell me to my face she could get fired basically for trying to help me ????How rude and unprofessional . I have never left a google review in my life but wanted to for warn people who look at these before using a company . Luckily I’m already married I’d hate to be in the shoes of a soon to be bride as it looks like some poor ladies around Lynchburg have been heartbroken on their big day due to Lynchburg Zales lack of customer service. Now my husband and I await a call from The DM Shawn . Let’s see if it takes 6months for that bC if so a lawsuit will be filled at that point . I refuse to wait 6 months for my refund .

My husband purchased me a 4ct diamond tennis bracelet for Christmas and I needed to have a few links put in it so it would be comfortable on my wrist,we sent it off Dec 23 2017 I called them the week of Han 15 to check on it because promise date was given the 13 of jan,I also had a ring sized and it came back the week before and it also was promised Jan 13th 2018,On Jan 19th i called Zales because the lady that was suppose to locate my bracelet and call me back never did, This time a lady took my name and number and she did return my call with the following information,They consider when you add links to a bracelet a custom and customs take 6-8 weeks which at this time they couldnt even locate the ticket for my bracelet,they did however call me back on the 21st or around that date to ask how many links was suppose to be added to the bracelet they had no information that hadnt found any information that had been taken when the bracelet was dropped off that tells me they have had the bracelet almost a month and have yet to do anything with it, we are a new customer with Zales we had been a customer at Kays for years and spent a lot there as well until a diamond fell out of a ring after 4 days and took me almost 2 months to get it back i left Kays and went to Zales so im not impressed with Zales at all so on to another jewelry store i guess because as of right now im about to cancel that bracelet order,whatever you do DO NOT DEAL WITH ZALES OR KAYS you will regret it ,I didnt want to give them any ratings but had to

My boyfriend (soon to be fiancé) had been through hell trying to get my ring from this place. They were supposed to have it in by the beginning of April, but they didnt. They didnt even call him to let him know the date has been set back. He had to continuously call and go in to ask about the whereabouts of the ring. They said he should have it by April 25th. He called before he went in and the guy said it came in on April 21st, but no one called my boyfriend to let him know!!! Go figure. He went in today and the guy cant find the ring. Hes calling people to try and see if he can find it. He ordered this ring back in FEBRUARY. It is now almost MAY. DO NOT GO HERE I REPEAT DO NOT GO HERE. Awful customer service. Will NEVER buy from here again.

I will never do business with these people again, they will lie straight to your face just to make a sale. I purchased by fiancees engagement ring from them and was told that it did not matter what size I bought to just bring it back and have it resized after I gave it to her. The reasoning was that if I got the size wrong then it would have to be resized twice which is bad for the ring. So the ring was to big and we took it in to get resized they told us it would take 4 - 6 weeks, after calling several times and being told that it was still being worked on I finally stopped in around 5 weeks and was told that the resize was rejected because they could not go down 4 sizes, I was not mad about that I was mad that they had this information for over 4 weeks and never called me or said anything when I called them. I was told that it was rejected weeks ago and they should have called me but they must have forgotten. We had to re-order her ring is a smaller size then have it resized down to the correct size. I should have known better but we purchased our wedding bands from these crooks and liars about two weeks ago. Same situation her ring size is a size 4 the band they had in store was a size 6, I specifically asked if that was going to be ok and the lady assured me that they would be able to resize it no problem. I get a call today that they were able to resize the band but the prongs on the band broke and a diamond or two fell out and that they are going to have to re-order the ring in a smaller size and then have it resized down to a 4, it is going to take 4-6 weeks and our wedding is in 30 days. Dont trust these people they will lie to you just to make a sale, they dont know what they are talking about and as soon as they get your money they throw you away like yesterdays garbage.

WORST experience Ive ever had with any company. A diamond store is supposed to help the customer feel valued.. especially when it comes to engagement rings and getting married. Sadly, the Lynchburg location of Zales made sure to ruin my experience rather quickly. I got engaged in October of 2015. My fiancé and I brought my ring in to be sized the same week. I wear a size 4.75. I can understand that since my finger is such a small size, that it is a tedious job to size an engagement ring down to that. I was willing to wait the 6-10 weeks for it to come back in, that way my setting was intact and it was still a high quality ring. My fiancé and I continually called once the 8 week mark hit, asking MJ and John if my ring had arrived yet. They could never give me a single update about when my ring would be in or the status of anything. Finally, after 10 weeks my ring came in.. HOWEVER, my ring came back in without ANY WORK done to it. Same condition as it was before, no sizing done. Nothing. I didnt get any apology from any of the staff members, they just acted like it was my fault and I shouldnt be worried about it. So then MJ tells me that he could send my $4,000 ring to their external jeweler. I dont trust that at all since my ring is under a warranty and would be void if something happened to it at a jeweler unaffiliated with Zales. So, no thank you to that. So MJ gave me the option to have my ring custom ordered in my size... Okay thats fine. It was going to take another 6-10 weeks. After MJ ordered this ring, we waiting 10 more weeks, called John to see if it was in, and he couldnt find our ring anywhere in the system. It had NEVER BEEN ORDERED. So now were in February, still waiting for a ring and have to wait ANOTHER 6-10 weeks for my ring to come in. I have never been offered any compensation, apology, NOTHING from the store management. I am so disappointed in the customer service of this company and will never stop telling my family and friends to never step foot in a Zales store again. Friends, DO NOT USE THIS STORE. Horrible customer service, horrible experience, wish I never would have gotten my engagement ring from there. Im a month away from my wedding and STILL dont have my ring.
