Everything i needed was expensive. Im not a regular, maybe they have sales. Not very dirty, no impression of staff ( good or bad). They did have a decent selection.

Staff very helpful. Tired of them being out of items in their ad though. Go the first day of sale out. Go last day of sale out. Then told they reduced the items to clear it out before the end of the sale. I would think they could substitute if they were out of the item.

Visited a week ago for the first time. I was pleasantly surprised. Interestingly organized, vegetables in coolers, not open bins. Had 2 mobility carts. Friendly people, even right at closing time.

Community Supermarket in Lower Burrell, PA is a wonderful store! It is laid out well and has quality items! Staff are very helpful and they have a wide array of products, whether it be in grocery, produce, meat or deli depts.

My mother in law loves to shop at community. She finds things she likes at good prices. What more can you ask for?

Surprisingly they make some really good Chicken Wings (Price is GREAT) and the Pizza is great too.Someone let me on their secret that you can call and place takeout orders. Dozen fresh full wings (slightly breaded/seasoned) and a large pizza for a little over $20... Piping hot when you pick it up!

Community Market is a great place to go if you want to shop locally, as opposed to the big chain markets. The owners are local, and have been in business for 90 years or so. They operate three stores in our local area (Lower Burrell, Natrona Heights and Penn Hills), and have recently opened one in the Bloomfield area of Pittsburgh.Despite being an independent market, their prices are competitive, and selection is good. The aisles are spacious. The deli is well stocked, with a much larger selection of meats and cheeses than usual for a store their size. Theyve recently added a pharmacy.The staff there is helpful and friendly, and when the store gets busy, they always manage to find a couple people to open up extra registers. Its very rare to spend much time in a checkout line, even when the store is crowded.I dont know what else a customer could want. Ive never been to the Penn Hills or Bloomfield stores, but the ones in Lower Burrell and Natrona Heights are excellent. I recommend Community Market highly.

It was an absolute madhouse there today but I have to say that they are doing their best. The check-out lines were really long but they moved quickly. Probably had 5 cashiers working and people bagging. I totally appreciate their hard work!!

Why does it smell like a backed up Septic tank in their store

They have been so nice during this whole Corona issue and they have set the store up as safely as possible. Never have a problem coming here. Even when they first started the WIC cards, which was more frustrating then it needed to be, nothing but nice and calm employees who seem to value your job and want to be there for their customers.

The selection & prices were fair - I found some, not all, items I was looking for. The staff were helpful; the location is convenient.

Simply to expensive, last resort place to go, good hot food though, and best fried chicken in the area.

They are taking Covid 19 seriously. Masks are mandatory, aisles are one way only, there is a station as you go into the store to wipe down and sanitize your cart. The checkouts are marked 6 feet apart and the cashiers have plastic shields between them and the customers. All employees are masked. As someone with IPF, this is extremely important to me.

Good sales, especially on meat. Good quality meats as well. Dry / boxed / frozen food prices are a bit on the high side though. Friendly staff, following covid guidelines.

Never know what Im store specials they will have. Always end up getting great deals. They are however in the middle of a reset which makes it hard to find things quickly

Upon entering the store, with mask in hand, not even to the door yet, with the temperature already at 86 degrees out. A very rude woman/ customer, mask shamed me. Let me stress I did enter the store with my mask on. But when in the parking lot I will not wear one. The store itself was on ok experience, the casher was pleasant and helpful. But due to the rudeness of the customers, I wont be going back. This mask shaming needs to stop

The cashier begin to do my order when there was another customers order still on the table and Lady before me took some of my food that I had to pay for. And their cashiers need to learn how to pack groceries! I had never had so many things get damaged at one store because of their incompetence, since when do you pack a huge can of crushed tomatoes in with bananas and apples. They make the bags so heavy and they do not double them and needless to say they put four jars of spaghetti sauce in one bag without doubling it and we are still cleaning up glass in our garage. And no matter how many times you call the store and complain the same thing happens every time you let them bag your things I told her I wanted to bag my own stuff and she continue to do it and needless to say I have a lot of damaged merchandise and Im really tired of it

I find what I need when Aldis doesnt have it.

Shelves are always stocked. Great selection fair prices and the staff is pleasant and always ready to help.

We are so greatful to have this store in our hometown. They have been so well stocked, organized and cleanly as we have gone thru this crazy pandemic. There is litterally no reason to try and go to one of the big box stores, just to be met with empty shelves. Great job to the management in running such a great place. Much thanks.

Little price for my taste but they do occasional get good deals and they have mine and my husbands favorite pizza here so I cant really complain to much

I cant believe they cant take anything but cash at times. They need to get with the times. Hardly anyone carries cash any more. Good way to loose business. Other than that its a nice store. There machines were down is why it out was only cash. Need a better system because other businesss in the area were still taking cards.

One of the worst grocery stores I have ever been in. Let me describe my last 2 visits. I was getting cheese from the deli, the person working went to slice my cheese on the same machine that was just used for meat, without cleaning it. I was told this was my only choice. Not wanting meat on my cheese, I declined getting cheese. Last visit I was scolded for forgetting to put the little bar between my groceries and the person in front of me. I had 3 items, and the person in front of me had about 6. The employees in this store seem to feel inconvenienced when helped customers. Yesterday will probably be my last visit.

Nice local grocery store. Friendly helpful workers.The restrooms however are sooo old and deteriorated that I hate to go in them. Ive been in outhouses that look like the Taj Mahal compared to these. They celebrate Customer Appreciation Days with sales. If they really appreciated us they would gut and redo the restrooms.
