My family and I came here after a great trip to the nearly auto museum. We got here at 1 (close to closing time), but service was fantastic, fast, and the food was delicious! Some of the best cooking around! I completely recommend The Eggshell Restaurant to anyone in the area, a must have stop!
Service for us was good and food was mostly good. The toast was cold and only lightly buttered.It was very busy Saturday, but was seat yourself. Masks not required from what I could tell (May 2021)While eating we observed an older male customer take the booth behind us and then his companion joined him. A few minutes later the waitress asked somewhat insistently that they move to a 2 seat table so another party could have the booth. This went down without much being said but being a witness to it, I was bothered that the waitress made it seem like the customer had no choice but to move.
Great location, unbelievably kind, attentive waitstaff and breakfast cooked to perfection. This was a true gem of our trip - not far from our motel either.This place was a true find. The staff made us feel welcome. Food was awesome.
Stopped here while in New Hampshire for Bike Week. Food was absolutely amazing! Gretchen , our server was awesome! So friendly and welcoming and kept our coffee cups full! Will be back next year for sure!

Their food is excellent, I ordered biscuits and gravy and I love their hashbrowns too, no grits but thats okay! Also, they have really good biscuits which we bought half a dozen for my handpicked Strawberry Shortcake!

Cant beat a local breakfast spot. Considering there arent many around at all. Staff is friendly location isnt great. Place is dodgy inside with decor kind of 80s Breaking Bad but food is great! And the price is perfect.
Everything was delicious. Glad we stopped in after getting our vaccine. Service was fast and efficient. Its not a huge place but let me tell you they are busy and are very good at turning over the tables quickly so you are not waiting long.

The Belgium waffle was probably one of the best ones Ive ever had with the real Maple syrup. Love it. We need a waffle maker in the Gilford restaurant please.

RAVE REVIEW ALERT! I have been to breakfast places all over New England, incuding Maine, Vermont, Mass and CT. Many of the places I have eaten at were amazing, however, The Egg Shell Restaurant in Loudon New Hampshire, right on route 106, stands out above all the rest. Give them one try and you will be hooked like I am! The cook is phenominal! Im suggesting the Steak n Eggs or Eggs Bene! I tried both and they were both flawless. I like the Red Arrow too but sorry Arrow, there is a new Sheriff in town. The Egg Shell is my new fav ! Nice workβββββ
Best breakfast/lunch in the central NH area by far. Home baked breads always, and everything is made in house. It feels just like ur eating @ home. Great atmosphere, Everybody knows everybody here, and the service is very much tailored to your own needs and expectations

First time eating at this establishment after hearing of it over the past several years. It was a very nice, quaint and homie location. You could see it has a lot of repeat local business, as the servers were very jovial and engaging with their customers. Gretchen, my server was very friendly and accommodating. Service was expedient in prompt . My omelette was cooked perfectly. Will definitely be back.π

Service was slow. Others who came in behind us got served 1st. Food was ok. Im sure they practice social distancing very well. I probably wouldnt go back again. We were hungry so we stopped in and we always wondered how it would be. Pass on by.
Food was great, waitress was attentive and courteous and very friendly and continually came back to see if any of us wanted more coffee which was much appreciated- our coffee cups were never empty-and the best part we never had to ask for a refill. The meal was served in a timely fashion. We definitely would return when we are back in the area. Great family oriented restaurant and price was very reasonable for the quality of service and food we received. Home-like atmosphere.

First time having breakfast at the Eggshell. It was a busy place but we were lucky to find a table right away. The waitress was friendly. I had a veggie omelet and cinnamon raisin toast, I would recommend both!

The Eggshell is one of the very best options for breakfast in the area. It is run by a great staff, and the service is *always* excellent. Itβs a good, old-fashioned local diner-style place serving excellent, tasty food.Homemade bread is the icing on the cake, and not to be missed!
Always great food. Timely service from front of house but as far as us getting it hot. Lukewarm at best but it was still warm at my house. Tasted wonderful ty Eggshell!

Best breakfast around bar none. Homefries are cooked like you would cook them at home. Fresh ground coffee per pot with free refills or bring your favorite cup from home.

Friendly and good waitress. But the tables, floor, and behind the counter were dirty. The fries were good, but some werent cooked. The burger was okay and priced appropriately. The reuben was not good. Chewy corned beef and saurerkraut was not good. Canned mushrooms on the omelette. Strawberry frappe was way too syrupy and was lumpy. The waitress was very nice and she did the best she could.
