I have been coming to this place for years. They have the best donuts in town. Especially the cherry raised. The staff has always been pleasant and prompt. Even calling to remind me when I forgot to pick up my order.If you find you are arriving too late to get the kind you like you can always call the night before and leave an order and then pick it up the next morning. It doesnt have to be a big order, but that way you can always get your yummy goodness.

Went in about 930, the selection was still pretty good. I thought the service was fabulous. Very fast and friendly. The donut was a great alternative to nasty Dunkin donuts!!! The breakfast bagel was decent too. I will definitely be back and I recommend trying it out!!

Oh no. I was so bummed to hear that the Donut Hut closed down and a new shop took over. So many great memories from when I was a kid. We have a lady that brings us donuts once a week here in Vail, and I was even considering making the trek down to try and outdo her. Back when my dad used to work nights, one thing I remembered him mentioning several times was driving home from work hed see the guy coming in super early in the morning and working away inside the Donut Hut on his way home. You guys will definitely be missed. :(

Ive have been going to the Donut hut for many years on my way to work. I stop in the other day and found out that they have change ownership... I have to say, I was blown away with the new fresh taste of the glazed donuts. What ever the new owner does to his donuts Keep it going I will definitely be back as a customer and support the new family owned business.

Unfortunately Donut Hut is no longer The Donut Hut I know or anybody else knows for that matter. Im not sure what happened but they have a new ownership. They are very friendly but the donuts are not the same. I was surprised to walk in and find it all different. Donuts are mediocre and I will never go there again. If you expect the old Donut Hut well dont even go because its not there anymore. Im thoroughly bummed. Today is a sad day in the donut world.

Donuts have a homemade feel which can be good or bad depending on what youre expecting. Theyre very generous with the cream on the filled long johns. They sell out fast so get there early. If you want a breakfast burrito Chubbies across the parking lot has much better ones. We go regularly.

Updated review... This place can be full of grumpy RUDE old men in the morning. If the people behind the counter werent so friendly Id stop coming solely based on the fact the RUDE, OLD men always have something to say about my toddler.Always friendly and welcoming. Delicious donuts & amazing coffee. I can get 2 donuts and a small coffee (free refills) for less than $5 🖒

Cool local donut shop. Long johns filled with whip cream are the way to go. Get there early though as they run out of the best stuff quickly.

Absolutely THE BEST donuts!! Ive tried many other small donut shops and no one beats these apple fritters. I mean it, no one! Id gladly drive the 40 minutes it takes to get there now that Ive moved. The staff is always friendly too.

A new local favorite. They added fresh Bavarian Cream to our donut and the bagel sandwich was outstanding. Good coffee, friendly service.

I took my family this morning to try out the under new ownership Donut Hut, first impressions were not good. We ordered a breakfast sandwich that was on the menu board, in fact 1/4 of the menu board, and they said they dont have them.....Noticed they no longer serve Dazbog coffee, my favorite. The donuts were tasty but not any better than previous. For my money Ill be driving a little longer down the road to Lamars. Sad as weve been going to Donut Hut for around 14 years since we moved here.

I always loved this place. I had a bad experience and the counter person was huffing when at me and being very short, and I ordered two dozen and she would only give me one punch on my frequent dozen card because I had three long johns. I tried to email this to their contact emails on the website and none of the emails work. I think I will just go to DD where I can always expect crap service and cheap prices. Sorry Donut Hut your representative has cost you a good paying business customer.

While it’s still better than the grocery store...it’s no longer the Donut Hut it used to be. New ownership in November. No more Blueberry donuts or anything creative. Just the basics.

Staff is genuinely kind! Its not intimidating, just comfortable. Donuts were delicious!

Looks like there was an owner exchange. I went in here recently and it is NOT the same place. It is very bare, and all coffee services have been eliminated to the pump coffee pot, and the donuts are not the same anymore.I am very sad that the previous owners are gone, definitely a loss to the neighborhood.

My husband and I drive across town for these donuts. Lots of original flavors, and theyre just plain better. Highly recommend this place.

The quality has dropped to your standard, run of the mill, average uninspired donut. Which is a shame because they were hands down the best in town with previous owners. I’m done with this place now.

Just went in for the first time since new owners took over and was happy with the service and donuts! Well miss seeing the old crew who knew us by name if theyre gone, but new owner Sammy was very friendly and well be glad to spend time here still!

Doughnuts are tastey. Friendly staff. cake recipe is nicely flavored & fried a bit crispy but oil is fresh. Long johns, you have a choice of filling right on the spot - whipped cream good, I would ask for 1/2 the amount next time, a bit too full - I recommend this doughnut stop, wish there was one closer to C470 & Kipling tho!!

Walked in at approx 11:20 Friday morning. The girl inside looked like she had just being cleaning up from the morning and was completely unfriendly and seemed utterly perturbed that I had walked in the door to give them my money. The sign out front said now serving breakfast burritos which sounded great and I remembered they had been written up in the D post for a great breakfast burrito. The girl was not outright rude but was so unfriendly that I just walked right back out. So many restaurants just dont get. Close your doors and take down your signs if your done serving for the day!!! Will probably never go in again.

Doughnuts are amazing! When they sell out they close. But they are always sold out by 7-8am on the weekends . . . no extra doughnuts on the weekend? You are missing out on sssoooo much extra business!! Very frustrating to get up early head up here to a closed shop. And last time I came here the lady at the counter was NOT having a good day or something. Extremely rude and angry toward anything I had to say.
