Ive always liked Big R !! Even though their prices seem kinda high to me. Thats not Big Rs fault though, its Biden and his idiotic mismanagement of our country. Of course if the democrats have their way Ill be able to go into any store and load my cart with up to $999.99 worth of anything and just walk out without paying a dime, but BIG R is a nice clean store with lots to offer !!

Friendly employees that generally know more about what they are selling than those at the Orange or Blue. Dogs allowed if you are into that sort of thing. Often do not have items in stock that have a place on the shelves.Still worth giving it a shot for an experience that is closer to a small town hardware store.

I always think I know what I want in a repair project and when the folks at Big R help me find what I need they also tell me the right way to do the project. Many projects have been guided by the knowledge of the Big R’s staff. Always appreciated!

Was disappointed to see they are not carrying as much products as they used to. Looking for canning lids but didnt find any. They do have canning jars.

Its more of a small town business. Have some things that are unique to that store. Cant find any where else.

Can’t say enough positive things about the outstanding customer service I received. I took in a garage door opener that was a few decades old that needed a battery replaced. I had tried to get it opened but couldn’t. They spent at least twenty minutes getting it pried open and replacing the battery for me. They were kind and determined to help. A big thank you.

If youre a farmer its great, your average person its like Ace with less stuff you can use. However, there are somethings no one else has, so its ok Im my book. Wish they had insulation, went there recently they dont carry.

Big R in Lincoln has a wide variety, from clothing to tools, to hard-to-find hardware. In general the employees are very helpful, although they can sometimes be difficult to find. Overall, an excellent resource for Lincolnites.

Price of goods twice as much as Pekin Big R. The employees of the Lincoln store are great. But unfortunately Springfield big R runs Lincoln store, where they have no customer loyalty. So as of now one star

Selection is great and the staff is even better. George Horn is just so sweet and kind, especially patient with small children looking at squirrel corn :) The store is quite large, and the aisles are not overcrowded, which is nice again with small children. You can find a lot of good deals here!

I came here to check out the decorative stones for a project I am working on at home. Unfortunately, they did not have a great selection of stones. On the plus side, the employees were very helpful.

Had a problem with a chainsaw, took in a list of things I needed for the saw and they had everything I needed to get it running. Efficient, friendly service provided at their parts department. Happy to have them in town and have what you need, even on Sunday.

Always and I mean always, check sale priced items after paying. Notorious for putting it on sale but not changing original price in computers. At checkout charged me original price of $9.99.

This place is worthless....there is always a good chance that they are out of whatever you need or they dont even carry it at all. Their hours are also high Inconvenient. Why would a farm and home store close at 5:30 on a Saturday during the spring/summer when its the nicest time of year and people are likely in need of items to complete tasks around their house/yard. Its also highly annoying that their online hours are never their actual hours

Lincoln is lucky to have Big R. Certainly, sometimes the inventory seems to be lacking a bit, but the sales staff and check-out ladies are always bending over backwards to help with smiles on their faces. Prices for plumbing and electrical items are much lower than the competition in town. Unless youre wanting to purchase an overpriced light bulb, I wouldnt recommend at all. They just dont have what you need. And when you call to enquire about an item, the staff doesnt have a computer system to look it up. And when you go there, they dont have what you need. Save yourself the hassle and call or go to Springfield.

Found the leather leads I had looked for at several other places.

Piss poor service. Dropped off a 10 inch tire to get a replaced inner tube and after a week it still wasnt complete. Come to find out the tire guy is on light duty and no one contacted me about the tire. They wont work on my equipment again.
