This is my first season at Truman. I purchased some electronics for my boat and was looking to have them installed. I am not there all the time so was hoping to get done while I was there for the weekend. I called several places and they were all booked for the next 2-3 weeks. Almost given up I called these folks and he said if you can bring in this morning they will get done. Great folks, Thanks!

Wouldn’t recommend had are four winns worked on for them to try and raise the price from what they originally said. Had the boat for three weeks supposed to change the water pump and starter got the starter replaced. They said there was nothing wrong with the water pump picked u it started it up the belts came off because they didn’t put something back together right and striped out the bolts. Also don’t bother to clean up the grease they get all over your boat while working on it. To add to there list of things they didn’t do but charged for also had them put a Bilge pump well it helps if the reconnect the hose to pump it out of the boat.

If sales lady was very informativethe one thing I would suggest if youre buying a boat pontoon anywhere we were looking for a 21-foot boat pontoon and we also looked at a 16 foot it was only a big difference between the 21 and$30,000 for the 21 an $22,000 for the 16ft a difference 8000 in dollars for 2ft differencewhen the floor was actually measured

Got my boat in and out quick and solved a Mercury Optimax outboard motor problem easily for $100 bucks diagnostic check up. I am very satisfied. Bought other parts there for reasonable prices too.

Quite possibly the worst place to take anything to get repaired. Brought our jet skis in to be fixed (wouldnt start/leaking). We paid for the initial repair, but when we tested noticed that one ski was still leaking and that it was still a bear to start. We left it with them in the hopes that they would not charge us for the first attempt at fixing them not actually working. Instead, they charged us again for the leak (1hr labor) which they didnt fix the first time, and wanted to charge us for a secondary issue they found with the starter. I would not have minded paying them for the second issue with the starter, but the man i spoke with was so condescending and rude (and they wouldnt hear anything about the fact that we had already brought them in for the same issue) that i asked just to get the skis back. If you have any reason to get your skis/boat repaired, it would be wise to go somewhere else. This is the only thing I will have ever turned into the BBB. Its still my belief that if you take something in for repairs, and they dont get done correctly the first time, that the shop will try to make it right. To top it off, they have no customer service skills whatsoever.
