I just wanted to send a shout out to Lily, Gio and Sierra, the incredible staff at Sephora - South pointe! My daughter had a make-up appt at a spa and when we arrived at the spa, we were told that they could not find the appt and they would not accommodate her even after we showed proof that the appt was made and confirmed twice. We went to Sephora to find make-up that she could apply herself. Lily, Gio and Sierra welcomed us and helped my daughter find the correct shades to use on her skin and around her eyes. Sephora should be proud that they have such an incredible, helpful staff! Thank you so much for helping my daughter that day!

I understand the store tries to get their employees to give baskets to ALL their customers but honestly it gets so annoying. I go here because its the only other Sephora with more variety than the one at Gateway Mall. I usually come here if I need something real quick but I keep getting pressured to buy things. I understand when they are trying to be nice and advertising products but please just EASE UP. It gets a bit too obvious when they blatantly ignore you after you decide to pick something up that they recommended. Happens all the time. I even got recommended something that the girl was pretty sure was cruelty free and ended not being cruelty free. It makes me want to order online and wait instead of going here.

I was in this morning in search of a tinted moisturizer that my sensitive skin will tolerate. The salesperson called a MANAGER over who was condescending and did not even give an attempt to help. She kept saying Im not a doctor. Trust me...I know you are not that well educated...thats why I know exactly what my triggers are. Youre supposed to be the expert on the products. Obviously she didn’t know her products well enough to help me, so rather than admit she didnt know, she became short with me, condescending, and offered excuses but no help. She made me feel like it was too challenging and inconvenient to try to help me so she didnt even try. She should go back to the basics to learn how to provide customer service. For everyone. Equally.

I was very impressed with how helpful the employees at this shop were. I was so impressed I called to thank the manager for training her staff to check on customers without being pushy. The reps who did assist me were friendly and patient, they had answers to all my questions and recommendations for products. It’s nice when a rep knows the products they sell, it’s a time saver for the shoppers. This Sephora isn’t very big, but they did have a lot to choose from. The shop was clean and organized. I will continue to shop here, and I would love to see them move to a larger location so they can display more products.

Maddie (blue eyeliner) and the manager on duty (I believe her name was Sierra?) were EXCELLENT. I was revamping my makeup so I needed some primer, brushes, bronzer, blush, brow gel and pencil, mascara, the whole nine! They both took their time and truly helped me get SO much for $150! 🙌🏾 Both were SO personable and a pleasure to work with. Maddie even recommended I try this lash and brow growth serum and although I didn’t TRULY need it (I mean let’s be honest do I need half the stuff I buy 😅) well let’s say did I come in to buy it, no... but she sold me on it and now I’m happily applying it to my lashes and brows tonight! Lol She didn’t push me into buying it.. no forcing or making me feel awkward if I didn’t want to buy it. She simply gave her honest opinion, pulled in the super sweet Asian girl with the pretty green streak in her hair (Also super helpful) and they both ‘genuinely’ gave their opinions. Loveee not being pressured into buying! I’m MUCH more likely to purchase that way! Thank you Sephora team!!

So I’ve been going to Ulta for years now, just because it was close—I didn’t even realize a Sephora moved into Southpoint. It’s always super frustrating for me, because I have severe Celiac and can’t risk using products that may contain gluten. At Ulta, this usually meant spending half an hour looking products up individually with questions about contents usually being “I don’t know.”I get my condition makes me a pretty annoying customer, but both employees working were more than happy to answer questions, directing me immediately to which lines were completely gluten-free. One—Stephany (and if a manager is reading this, this girl deserves praise!)—went ahead and started looking up which of the products I was specifically looking for were gluten free in other lines, as well. I now have three new glitter shadows, including two from the Sephora line, to try out. I will definitely be a returning customer, and again, great on Sephora for choosing employees that are ready and willing to help a girl out! If I could give more than five stars, I would in a heartbeat.

Went to the store at around 6:45pm because I needed to grab something real quick and they were already locking the doors. Why say that you close at 7 pm when you don’t actually stay open till 7 pm. That is incredibly frustrating. Is it really a problem to stay open 15 more minutes?

It would be nice if youd all just let a girl shop and have your sales reps back off. We came in to buy something...at least wait until we ask for help or give us 5 mins to look around before you stalk us.
