Tried to work with Schworer on an ID.4 lease, and they would not budge on their inflated money factor. They are marking up their interest rate and charging the consumer over $2000 more over the course of the lease. I understand the current market, but this is terrible practice that hides the true price from the consumer. I would watch the numbers closely, and get a few other quotes from other dealers just to confirm they are inline with others. The sales, and finance people are nice to talk to but still.

My wife and I took a chance and drove to Schworer from Omaha to test drive a car we liked. Sales rep Dustin met us promptly at the time discussed, had the car ready, and was very patient with our questions. We never felt pressure to buy. We were very pleased with the warranty and the amount we were offered on our trade. Well worth the drive from Omaha!

Super great service department! I was driving from Colorado to Illinois and my reduce oil light came on in my car😂! Due to the fact that I was over 5 hours away from my regular dealership I ended up at Schworer Volkswagen! Let me just say they were amazing! They got me right in, fixed my issues & even washed my car👀! Anyway’s, if I lived closer I would totally do all my serve work at there facility!

Super service! They were upfront about the gazillion repairs needed to my Wally Bug and took great care of him. Came in way under the estimate and super communication as it wasn’t an easy repair to accomplish. Got a call that my part arrived but I couldnt get there until Saturday. That Saturday fell on July 3rd. I arrived to discover the parts department was closed. Thankfully, Jeff left his sales meeting and retrieved it for me. Perhaps he should get an extra nod for a customer service award or a Get out of an HR thrashing for free card. Thank you Jeff.

We had a pleasant stop at this dealership! I saw a car that I really like when we came to pick up my car. I did test drive the car and very tempted to buy it. The sale person was very kind and patient with us. I did tell him that I will not be able to purchase now. He did get my info and wasnt pushy about me buying!! I am sure if I decide it will be with him at this dealership!

One star is one too many! We have an older VW that apparently isnt worthy of fixing to this dealership!? Never have we experienced such a lack of communication or respect! Not only did they not fix or vehicle, they told us it was not worth fixing!? So apparently they are not willing to stand behind their own products! Between 2 visits(factory recall and continued issue for it) we are no where! We will never use or recommend this dealership to anyone! If you want a horrible experience, this is the place for you! We went weeks without vehicle, no calls or anything! I have never had a more dehumanizing experience. Avoid at all costs!

After a horrible experience with this dealer for a safety recall, I finally got to gas station to fill tank to take to a repair shoppe I trust. At the pumps I noticed the fuel tank pouring gas out of the bottom drivers side, which was supposed to be the repair that the recall was for. No response from dealer.This dealership really does not care about your safety or your vehicle.

Great service here today. I am visiting from Illinois and having issues with my VW. I called yesterday at closing time and the kind receptionist made an appointment for 9am today to check out the problem. Vehicle was checked, issued determined, and parts ordered. Appointment was made for Monday! Great service and after my car was off the rack they washed it!

Im pretty disappointed in this Volkswagen dealership I had a unique problem with our unique solution and I called them and they said that they could help me no problem at all and they opened up at 7:00 a.m. so I show up at 7:05 and the Jhelum and says well Im sorry I cant help you until 9 oclock in the morning thats when the mechanics show up I was ensured by the reception is that the shop opened up at 7:00 a.m. well I was told the wrong information and they open up at 9I live out of town so it was kind of inconvenient for me to stay for 2 hoursThats why I only gave them 2 stars

I guess we are not the type of buyer that this dealership wants. We have had issues since covid and to make it worse my wife hit a deer. We applied for and received financing and the dealership refused to work with them. So we applied and received financing with another company and again Ellen Glassmyer and the ownership @schworervolkswagen refused to even contact them to get the vehicle funded. Its bad enough we have covid, now to have people just flat out refuse to service you is just hateful.

I had a repair done on my rear brake (backing plate was loose). After the repair I noticed what sounded like a bad wheel bearing noise coming from the rear/right side of the vehicle. I took the vehicle in TWICE and was told it was nothing/just “tire noise”. I moved to a new state recently and the noise got worse and the rear wheel well assembly made noises when I pressed the brake. Took the vehicle in to the local dealer and they told me the rear wheel assembly needed to be replaced and was “moving from side to side”. Not happy with Schworer VW and will not return. The fact that the dealership failed to actually inspect the vehicle and told me it was nothing is very concerning. No regard for my safety as I could have very well had an accident. Also, no one in the facility was wearing a face mask.

I took my car in for a service regularly there which I thought included an air filter check. I was never told I needed a new air filter.I was travelling over the holiday and my check engine light came on. I had it taken to a dealership 5 hrs away, in which I was charged $225 to have the air filter replaced.The check engine light came on due to Mass Air Flow error code. Schworer evidently does not believe that an extremely dirty and full air filter would cause there to be a Mass Air Flow error.So basically I ended up spending 12 hours driving to pickup my car (I got a rental to get home) just for an air filter.For this whole ordeal, they offered me $70 off my next service! After calling them 3 times and Volkswagen of America once. The first time the service manager had no interest in doing anything at all for me, so the fact that they came up from 0 is impressive, I guess.I called them because I was surprised I had a dirty air filter and thought this would have been something they let me know about. I wasnt trying to be unreasonable, but it was much larger cost than it needed to be for me and I was hoping they would work with me.They maintained it wasnt their fault, even though their service includes checking the air filter, and actually told me that I could have driven the car. When the check engine light comes on over 300 miles from home, its good to know that Schworer deflects blame and says I didnt have to leave it at that dealership.An air filter takes 2 minutes to replace and they say that it passed at 40k miles, (I also had my car in at 50k, but perhaps they didnt check it there). So apparently it was clean for 40,000 miles then in 15,000 miles just dropped off the deep end, the car was at about 55k whenever the check engine light came on.Its concerning that they dont know what can go wrong with the cars. The other dealership literally only replaced the air filter and it was fine after that and theyre not convinced that was the issue. After talking to other VW dealerships independent of the two I dealt with, they agreed absolutely that a dirty air filter can cause a Mass Air Flow error.I would avoid them if you want quality work done to your car. Whats most concerning to me is that they refuse to accept an issue I had, the remedy that fixed it, and perhaps that it was an oversight that they had that caused it.Edit to their response below:At 40k, they said they looked at the air filter and said it passed. They said that to me on the phone. Now, suddenly it wasnt inspected.I was in at 50k for oil change, service, and new tires. That wasnt free. I paid for all of that.

STAY AWAY!!! If I could give negative stars, I WOULD!!From my first contact with Schworer VW through the end of the 6 month warranty I received with the purchase of a used VW, I was utterly disappointed and have never worked with a dealership with such poor customer service.I emailed them in March about a 2013 VW Passat TDI they had on their lot with only 17,000 miles; I though there must be some mistake. I didn’t get a response so I messaged back and wasn’t given any information but told their hours of operation and they were expecting me at the dealership to answer questions and see the vehicle. I arrived at the dealership, and the person who was supposed to talk to me wasn’t there, so I got passed to another gentleman. Now, I believe that if you’re going to sell a product, you should know the product, in and out. This salesman knew very little about the vehicle. I asked about 20 questions and he answered about 5 of them, spoke to his sales manager and got another 5 answered, talked to the service manager and got a few more answered which left me with 5+ un-answered questions, mostly mechanical. This process started at the beginning of the pandemic and the vehicle, although at the lot, wasn’t allowed to be sold because the title was still in Michigan. I emailed multiple times asking questions and was given responses like, “It could months due to the pandemic.” If you don’t know the answer, just say you don’t know. I negotiated the price to include the addition of some after-market items and the salesperson and sales manager were not on the same page. The sales manager had to come into the room multiple times during my multiple visits to the dealership and ask ME what was going on. I’m pretty sure he had no idea what he was doing. A customer should ask (I even did so in writing) and the salesperson and manger either make it happen, negotiate a different deal or say they can’t make it work. The customer shouldn’t have to explain now deals work to the person selling the product.The title finally arrived in late April or May so I went in to sign the paperwork. The finance manager wasn’t prepared. He had printed all the documents wrong, so I had to wait over an hour for that process to get fixed. I had asked if the maps on the navigation were up to date, and was told yes: This was a lie and the sales manager refused to update them for free. I asked for a broken taillight on the vehicle to be replaced (it is cracked all the way through the plastic), and the sales manager refused. The ONE thing they did was replace bad wiper blades…WOO HOO! Then, two weeks after I drove the car off of the lot, I had to bring the vehicle back to the dealership because the ENTIRE CALIPER on the PASSENGER FRONT HUB was LOOSE! Seriously?! I was in a hurry, so they fixed it and I left. I knew the sales manager was an idiot by now so I called to speak to the manager of the dealership; he wasn’t available so I left a message for HIM to call me back. 15 minutes later I get a call from the incompetent sales manager.This dealership is a joke. The people who work there have no clue what they’re doing, what they’re selling, how to sell, or how to take care of customers.

The price, quality of the vehicle and mileage simply couldnt be beat! We were in and out in no time, it was a really smooth process. Matt helped me in the service department. I had been having some mysterious, rather subtle signals that something was the matter with my CC every time I started it. It was hard to describe what I was experiencing and I wasnt sure I was giving them enough to go on and that they might think I was crazy. Turns out there was a bad cell in my car battery. I waited while they did the diagnosis and then while they changed out the battery. I was in and out in about an hour and a half. As always, the service department guys were lovely to deal with: respectful and thorough. And the service department is always spotless and run like a calm, efficient machine. Tom spoke to me on the phone and got the appointment lined up. Matt checked me in and took responsibility for the visit. I love both those guys! They returned my vehicle to me cleaned, which is an extra treat. Its always a wonderful experience.

All the service folks are great. They get us in quickly, explain everything, answer all our questions, and get us on our way in short order. We have primarily worked with Rudy and Lori recently, but earlier staff members were great also. If we need a ride to or from the dealership, that is always arranged for us, and the driver is very pleasant. If we decide to wait for work to be done, the waiting space is very pleasant and well lit. Coffee/other drinks and snacks are available as well as newspapers and magazines to read. In addition a laptop is there to use if you want. I would definitely recommend Schworer to others.

I had an amazing experience with Schworer VW. I am a very high maintenance customer with a lot of questions and they answered all of them. Dan Thompson was fantastic, he got me all of the information on pricing I asked for and didn’t pressure me into making a purchase decision. Tristan was kind and informative answering all of my questions pertaining to the Tiguan I chose. Jake was great at answering all of my questions regarding future payments and even got me a great deal on maintenance. VW Lincoln misdiagnosed my 2012 CC engine problems so poorly, they told me I needed a $9,000 new engine when multiple other mechanics confirmed that spark plugs and ignition coils for $600 was all I needed to do. The entire experience at Schworer Volkswagen was not customer orientated. To top it off, Tracy and a repair shop guy, Barrett tried to get me to sell my car for $1,200 cash, pressuring me to make a decision in 15 minutes. This is a prime example of trying to take advantage of a young female. Despite my numerous phone calls and unending questions to the service department to understand the problem, there was no transparent answers. Overall, really disappointed with how this service department operates and will not be returning.

The car I purchased is a good car and I have no concerns regarding my vehicle. However the customer service could definitely improve. It’s because of the car that I dealt with the poor customer service. My purchase documents had to be redone several times because they kept making errors. My Personal information was sent in an unsealed envelope with no instructions and had to be resent. This prolonged my financing and plates. The sales person’s knowledge was little and I was given wrong information regarding warranty. They made me feel Unappreciated simply because I was buying a preowned vehicle. I felt they also were offended because I was knowledgeable on dealership prices And that is where the poor customer Service Began. I drive an hour and a half to this dealership and they admitted that because I would not be coming back for servicing that they will come out losing if they don’t sell it for their asking price. I would understand their point however I made fair offers and was polite Even after I began experiencing bad customer service.

Because almost all of our correspondence was by phone, I know that their phone service and phone etiquette were excellent. I was only in-store once, and everyone was very nice and pleasant. Everyone in the service department was wonderful. This was my first time taking our Beetle to Schworer, but now we wont go anywhere else. Mat was great at calling to let me know of diagnosis of problem and making recommendations. They fixed the problem and I appreciated the shuttle service they offered to pick up our car. While on a vacation trip 1200 miles from home my Jetta decided it needed a new wheel bearing. I arrived at the shop obviously unscheduled, was greeted warmly and professionally and the service managers immediately were able to get my car into the shop with repairs underway. In a little over 4 hours my car had new parts installed and a new alignment completed and I was back on the road!!! This team is a superb example of how customer service and professionalism coupled with excellent mechanics and the drive to help people out has enabled and created the VW reputation we as VW owners love. The car I got from them is great, even though it was probably not the best deal. However, they sold it to me with an oil leak. It was a used car, but a big issue like that should have been detected and fixed. They did repair it, but I still had to pay 400 dollars, which is a lot in a addition to the car I just bought from them.

The service at this place stinks. I have had two experiences so far with them.1st: I got an oil change and a tire rotation. They refused to do the rotation because of the condition of my tires. I went to a different VW dealership to get new tires later and they said my tires were still in good order. I think they were just trying to scam an extra sale!2nd: I just called to see if they could help with a check engine light (it came on during my drive and I have another 2 hours of driving to go) and they said they are too busy to help me. I’m sure if I go to an O’Reillys they will help me.My mother just bought a Tiguan and I was thinking about buying one too, but I guess I’ll look into something else after the terrible service here.

It turned out that an oil gasket leaked and got oil onto a spark plug. They fixed the issue quickly, and they also fixed my electrical issues without charging any labor because it was an easy fix. Mat was very good about keeping me informed, and his estimate was almost spot-on to the bottom line charge at the end.

Schworer Volkswagen Service Department had the opportunity to service my JETTA SEDAN for an oil change. That was the service that blew all my expectations (from previous experiences with other vendors) out of the window. They took an extra step to wash and vacuum my vehicle! They kept the actual wait time that has been promised over the phone! I just love Matt - his friendly smile and overall attitude makes a difference too! We were headed back to NV when our Passat threw some warning codes near Grand Island. We ended up at this dealership in Lincoln. They immediately got our car in to check things out. We couldnt find the issue, but they never charged is a dime:) The entire staff was very friendly to us and our 2 dogs. Thank you

Schworer Volkswagen provides excellent service and reasonable rates. Ive taken my Passat and Touareg in for routine service a couple of times a year for the past two or three years. Lori, the service manager, is top-shelf. She fully explains repairs, costs, and any other issues. Scheduling appointments with Lori is easy and their shuttle service is convenient. I would recommend Schworer without hesitation.

Schworer does a great job. Being from out of town, it was really nerve-wracking trying to find a place to trust my car to, but they put all of them at ease. My car went through its normal 100,000 mile faults (bad battery, alternator, random fuses going) and they were able to get it taken care of and stayed with it until they found all of the problems. They charged a fair price and were understanding of my college budget.The guys in the service department are great, and Ill definitely recommend Schworer to anyone who owns a Volkswagen!

1 Star. Went in for an oil change, and an oil filter change. Payed around 90$. They overfilled the oil reservoir, but forgot to tell me before I drove 190 miles to Kansas City, and back. My car did not sound right, so I pulled over and checked the dipstick. Went back to Schworer and, after a long argument, they eventually admitted they overfilled it only an inch over the dipstick. Then they said So what? Dont you make mistakes?.Excessive oil can cause engine damage, and ruin the oil pump. Arent these guys trained mechanics? If they cant manage a simple oil change, did they even change the oil filter? Would not recommend.

Service Departments labor rate is outrageous! I brought my high mileage 2008 Volkswagen in to have them check an oil leak 3 times! First time, they were doing some recall work and they spotted the leak! I asked them if they could tell me where it was coming from. The advisor said he would have to charge me to look at it. I declined because SERIOUSLY! 2 weeks later, I took it back in for the same leak issue and a couple minor issues (EVAP leak, blower motor). Still didnt find an oil leak but charged a fair price for looking it over!2 weeks later (3rd time), I took it back in to have it looked at and they finally found something! Service advisor was friendly and easy to talk too but the price to repair the leak was absurd!The Sales Department tried to get me approved for a new car loan on a 2015 VW with low mileage! They told me they would reach out to a lender and see if the loan could get approved but it was Saturday so I had to wait until Monday night to get a decision. Intially, they told me my interest rate would be 14.2% ... by the end of the loan decision making process ... my interest rate increased by 3% ... I understand that my credit is bad so they did what they could to get me approved and by that I mean sending my information out to about 6 different lenders!6 Hard Inquiries that doesnt make my credit look any better! Thanks guys ... I will NEVER step foot on your property again!
