The employees are friendly and seem to have the customers needs as a priority. If I have questions or concerns about theA/C, Furnace install they listen and answer/followup with the necessary information. They are on time and work diligently. Wow! I didnt realize such service existed. The team that cleaned my ducts were friendly and efficient. They respected my home and possessions and were neat and careful with their work. Aaron & Wyatt came out to replace our 30 + old heating and air. They did a great job and very happy with everything. Amy was very good working around my schedule to come to our house and get me a bid to replace everything.

After attempting to diagnose what was going on with our outside unit myself (which I was on the right track) I called Trane b/c of the thermostat that I had purchased since I thought it was that and one capacitor (which I still havent received due to it being on backorder) Trane recommended me to StarCity and they were phenomenal with listening to me ramble spite not really knowing jack about HVAC units, even though they couldnt tell me over the phone they did get a tech out the next morning. Turns out it was two different capacitors which the tech Trever was able to wire to one and replace it in the spot and then walk me through the what to do to install the new thermostat since we have a two stage heat pump. I will definitely use them again even though we dont live in Lincoln, which makes things a little more pricey but completely worth it!

Kalan is a great person to work with, always has a positive attitude, works hard. He is very patient and is good at explaining how things work and how to do things the correct way.

My old house had an AC unit from the 90’s, but it worked and I just kept up the maintenance with Star City. While they recommended replacement at one point, they never pressured me to buy a new unit. The AC was still working great when I sold the house thanks to regular maintenance. I purchased an annual plan which includes furnace and AC checks. They also drop off filters for the year and send helpful reminders to replace them. Overall a great experience and I will continue to renew the annual service plan at my new house.

We were leaving out of state when our AC quit working. We called Star City the day before we were to return home. They arranged to have a technician stop by our house even tho we were gone. They diagnosed the problem and ordered the required part. While driving home they called to say they had completed the repair. We returned home to a cool house instead of a hot one.We were grateful for all their help and service. Staff kept us informed and in the loop while doing the work. Great Job.

We own a home that was built in 1912, and it still has a functioning radiator that had been converted to electricity some time ago. Star City heating may just be the only service in the city that works with radiant heat. Thanks for your help, fellas!

Star City Heating and Cooling came out and worked on our A/C during their most busiest of A/C issues. This was the first time using them. Trevor came out and found the issue, got us up and running. We were so happy. We set up with Trevor to come out twice a year. This is our Third House, first one in Lincoln NE. The other houses we had to replace heating and cooling systems. We never was treated as well as Star City Heating and Cooling has taken care of us. Trevor was very professional, great explaining the problems, and fixing the problem in a very quick time.We are so happy to be able to have Star City Heating and Cooling being our Watch Dog for our Heating and Cooling. You can save yourself a lot of money if you have your system checked twice a year. You have your car checked out before a Vacation, why wait until your Heating and or AC goes out. The cost of the best plan is very reasonable and you should have them come out and check yours and get on a plan. Tim, the man who repaired my HVAC, is a very knowledgeable man. He was very polite and asked detailed questions about what I was experiencing. He made the repairs quickly, was very clean about it, and gave me a detailed run down of the repairs. I called on Sunday during a day with a heat advisory, and they zipped right over, assessed my system, found what looked to be going wrong with it, patched it right up, and refilled my system. The fellow they sent over was very courteous and did a good job of explaining my options. Would definitely use them again. About the only thing they got wrong was confusing my last name for my first name in their text messages to me (note: in their defense, both my first and last names are popular first names, so this isnt the first time this has happened to me). :-)

Our AC unit inside started leaking so I called Star City. They helped me over the phone and sent a technician out. Trever came out and check out the unit, figured out the problem and set us up to talk with one of their coordinators to set up repairs. Our unit is 15 years old and was making a very loud sound, it’s going to need repairs or replaced. Trever answers all of my questions and was very polite and professional. I would recommend!

Star City had been great to work with. I needed work done for my local American Legion, and they were able to work me into their schedule, provide a quote in a timely manner which allowed me to get the needed approvals top move forward with the repair. They showed up on time and finished the work as quoted, and the techs were very knowledgeable and friendly, whileg explaining what they were doing. 2 days later I had a cooler strip working and they were able to fit me into their schedule the next morning so we did not have to lose any business due to down time.I highly recommend Star City and will be pushing for getting a maintenance contact in place with then.

Our A/C needed to be replaced in June and we decided to replace the entire HVAC system. We were helped by Trevor, Aaron, Curtis, and Amy. Everyone we worked with was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. Overall it was a great experience despite having our A/C out for a few weeks.

The real deal for Trane servicing! The fan on our furnace went out during a bit of a cold spell recently... and on a holiday. Called Star City Heating and Cooling (a company that had serviced our heat pump once before) and they were at my house within a couple of hours... immediately found the problem. It took a couple of days for the parts to arrive, since my furnace - I guess - is now considered an older model by Trane and the parts are not totally radially available... but that is no fault of Star City - they were on top of it the whole time! They even loaned us a couple of space heaters during the super freeze outside - free of charge! The technician was very friendly and very helpful - fully knew what he was doing and how to treat the customer right... even did an extra run that first night, to get the loaner space heaters for us. This is about as close to old fashioned service as one can get. The only slight ho-hum thing I would say about the whole experience is the markup in price on the parts... which, I guess, is a pretty moot point since it seems like the whole industry does it anymore nowadays. Even so, Star City has flat rate pricing, so if something extensive happens during the repair, you arent having to foot the extra bill for extra time and labor. Overall, I cant be happier with Star City Heating and Cooling and they are for sure my go-to guys with my Trane equipment in the future... and I will always be calling them back again as needed! Highly recommended!!!

I called 2 other companies first, and was told it would be 4 to 7 days before they could come to my house. I called StarCity and a technician was at my house in an hour an solved my issue very quickly. We will be switching from our go to HVAC company to StarCity from now on. I highly recommend them.

Called Star city to repair a furnace on a rental and they kept saying it was fixed but they had to make return trips on the weekend. My opinion they replaced parts that were still good because they couldn’t figure out the problem. When they finally figured it out I had to dispute the charges because I was paying for trips with service techs that mis diagnosed the problem, obviously they do not all have the same skill sets. The secretary / call receptionist (Charles) was upset because I complained. I asked to speak with the owner and he never returned my call. I called again to discuss billing and I was transferred to the office manager (Angel) I had to explain my position repeatedly and she called the owner and they came to an agreement on the billing, never once did the owner call me back in regards to that situation. I called for another situation with a different rental and they treated terrible and I was put on hold and waited 5-6 minutes then they changed how they treated me and it was not any better. The owner finally did call back after I told them I would leave a review and I told him that I decided not to do business with them anymore. The owner should probably be more hands on and know how his customer service team treats people, they get very defensive and take it to a personal level. Obviously they are more concerned about maximizing their billing then overall customer experience. I’m sure that their customer profile in the software they use is full of notes that are probably very biased and personal depending on who gets your call and what there opinion is if you. I did give them 2 stars because they did show up and they did answer the phone. As per the owners reply about meth.....come on kieth man up or shut up......nice how you try to discredit any review or criticism that might improve your companies terrible service and your lack of responsibility, maybe you should drug test your employees or maybe you have the problem....the problem is you and your company...Revised 12/30/2020.evidently the owner can’t even reply on his own....because he’s to busy. Your best bet would be to move on to your next lame attempt to deflect your responsibility. Have a great day Angel😃

It started with the replacement AC quote with Gary. I appreciated how he asked questions and made sure and taylor the unit off of our specific needs. I was impressed how quick they scheduled considering this replacement was non emergency.Curtis showed up even a few minutes early for the installation appointment. It was great to have specific time instead of a big window to wait for. He was very professional and explained what he, his coworker Aaron and the electrician were going to do.After the installation was done Aaron answered all of my questions and explained all of the work that they did on the inside. He explained their maintenance program but I appreciated how it was more informative and not pushy. He even gave me some zip ties to take care of my condensation pump tubing I had installed. Great customer service and very personable. I would highly reccomend Star City Heating and Air based on the service provided by Gary, Curtis and Aaron.
