I want to recommend Mike and his wife to anyone who may be looking at hearing aids. I have worn aids now for over 10 years and have tried everything from the Sams/Costco route, audiologists and ENT’s. Mike took the time to try to find a comfort level with what I was wearing, they were less than 2 years old. He took time to adjust and tweak but couldn’t quite hit it. We then tried a couple of different MFG they carried. I also was testing some that are sold over the internet, this process went on for several months. In the end I chose the Oticon More from him and I couldn’t be happier. The price was very fair and the service was outstanding. They were both very patient with me as I’m rather finicky about the sound. If you need hearing aids I highly recommend them.

Mike’s tests and fitting were, by far, the most thorough and informative of the four I’ve had over the past twelve years. He is one of the specialists handling the rollout of the Whisper hearing system that has been the most beneficial by far, of all the hearing aids I’ve used.

I had tried three other hearing aid centers without benefit. I had almost given up hope of being able to function normally in society. I was becoming more and more socially isolated because I just could not understand what people were saying. I got an invitation from Medicare to try Digital Hearing Outlet and the prices were much more reasonable. They offer services in Spartanburg where I live twice a week. Mike was very helpful during testing and fitting. Once I got my aids and they were adjusted, I could finally HEAR! I feel like they gave me my life back!

I am very grateful to Mike and Shannon for helping with my needs while I was in SC. My right side hearing aid had stopped working. My Audiologist from MD researched service providers in the area and called to verify that they were a Widex service Center. I made the arrangements to meet them in Lexington the next day. With COVID-19 safety in place we met in the parking lot and he examined my unit and replaced the receiver fixing the unit in a fairly short period of time. Also, was able to do this under the warranty at no cost to me. (Thankful I carry my warranty card in my wallet). To be able to hear again without feeling unstable from being off balance is the best thing ever. Truly the most professional and caring staff I have ever had dealings with. Thank you so much for making me feel like I have always been a client with you.

The process for acquiring hearing aids through my insurance company was frustrating, at times. I needed new ones after using the same pair for 5 years and since we had reached our deductible, it was time to take advantage and get a new pair. Excellent. Jennifer detected a problem with a collapsing ear canal that a ENT doctor and another hearing aid business did not detect. Jennifer made an adjustment to the wire and microphone inserted into the ear canal so that the sound could reach the ear drum. My new aids are great. I highly recommend Digital Hearing.
