Moved into our first home in Lexington and were in the market for some new furniture and came across Sherwoods they had a huge selection with a lot of furniture in stock with very reasonable pricing and were very knowledgeable and helped us figure out exactly what we wanted. My first visit I dealt with Ted who was very nice and he sold me a sectional couch with a entertainment stand and had it delivered and setup the same day. I went back the next day and dealt with Sherwood the owner also very nice and he was able to get me a great deal on a new king size bedroom set and a new dining room table which will be getting delivered and setup next day. Moral of the story anything you need furniture wise definitely check them out!

STAY AWAY FROM HERE! I was referred to this rat hole by a good friend. We were looking for a couch, love seat and ottoman. The couch and love seat we bought from the showroom floor and was told they ottoman would be ordered. I have called every week and was told it was on back order. I get that, however it has been 2 months and I am still told the same thing.NOT ONCE did anyone from this store call me and tell me anything. Now I am being told that he is worried about the storm that is coming in causing more of a delay. If I had not called them, I would know nothing . My bill is still due. And I still have to pay my bill.I was told by Mr. Sherwood that he didnt care if I made a review or called the BBB, he had plenty of GOOD customers.Read all the reviews.... it seems to be a common thing.STAY AWAY!

Very friendly staff here and always helpful. They have a lot of inventory and a warehouse of additional pieces, and they can also order things for you. I love how they always have Christian music playing when I go in to look.

I went in on whim with my husband the week of July 4th. We found a sectional that we really liked and were going to get it but were not sold on it, so we went home to think it over. My husband returned in a few days to get the couch, but found out it was back ordered. Kind of a bummer, but I understand that happens. We expected it to come in, within two to three weeks, but it ended up taking a month. We are pleased with the quality and will continue to shop with Sherwood.

Weve been buying furniture from Sherwood Furniture for years and always enjoy the shopping experience. We have gotten nothing but good furniture. I would suggest anyone shopping there if you want good furniture at a discount price.

This was a place I used to highly recommend to people for the ideal furniture for their homes I went there on Memorial Day would someone that I knew I was looking at a piece of furniture I asked the person how much was it there was no price on it the guy who left the warehouse and went back inside to ask one of the sales associates he came back and soda price at us and said thats his price the Shelf he could not open the door on it he went back inside and came back with another guy they finally got the doors open on it I asked the guy was that his best offer he looked at me all flushed in the face like if he had been drinking too much as myself and the other person that I was with could plainly see that he was intoxicated I asked the question how much did he pay for that piece he looked at me with a very rude look and said none of your business if you want it take it for the price that Im offering or you can leave it Im not going to deliver it you can pick it up but thats my going price the person that I was with started to say something they held their tongue as well as I I took his business card and left read along with the money in my pocket to never return and that is my business I guess when he finds his self moving that piece of furniture around which the delivery man looked it like they didnt even want to live it they will stand there saying whos going to move that looking at me and the other person the intoxicated guy who I assume that was the owner was standing there staglin around looking like he was about to pass out any second never again without suggest that anyone shop there of the chance of being insulted or dealing with anyone intoxicated I understand it was a holiday but no reason to be rude nasty or feeling like youre going into a bar to shop for furniture Nelly Mack from Gaston

I bought a love seat and a sofa 13yrs ago I still have it the Quality of this furniture is excellent Sherwood have the best furniture that I have ever seen. I have move to Louisiana now and I cant find anything with the Quality that Sherwood offers.

Horrible horrible Ill never shop there again all they get in is close out and discontinued furniture do not shop here they lye and say there good Christian people what a joke..First I get a sofa and loveseat recliner have it for two week and wore down that fast that I paid 1540 that he slipped up and said he paid 600 for the hole set and they didnt want to do anything about it so I said I was going to get a lawyer on them Mr sherwood called right back and said he will send them out to pickup the defective furniture witch they did that the only positive thing I got to say..Second they didnt have that that many set on hand so I pick out same style just leather he told me I had to pay more and had to order the recliner to match. I agreed with that it took them two weeks to give me a non matching recliner that I dont even want that he charge me an extra $500 for on top of that which you should have took that off for my time that he wasted all I got to say is if you want garbage Furniture go see them if you want a little bit better Furniture go see Big Lots if you want wait better Furniture go to Ashley Furniture they get discontinued closeout defect items in there all the time they are not honest and a bunch of rip-offs that my lawyer is looking into because this is not what I ordered

OVERPRICED, NO TIMELY RESPONSES, and DAMAGED FURNITURE!!! In August, ordered my headboard and footboard as part of my bedroom suite. The 1st time it came in, the entire suite was returned because it was damaged. The 2nd time it came in, the entire suite was returned because it was damaged. The 3rd time it came in, I kept the dresser, chest, and nightstand however; the headboard was damaged. The 4th time the headboard and footboard came in, the headboard was damaged. It is January 9th, I still dont have my headboard & footboard, and the store owner wont return my call or text message.
