I visited this store this past weekend and truly enjoyed my experience. Upon entering I was greeted with kindness from Nancy and felt very welcomed, almost as if I was right at home. Nancy was phenomenal and very knowledgeable about the different types of mattresses and respectful to my needs and budget. Nancy was patient and was able to guide me in the right direction for a better sleep. I was able to meet Micheal, the owner, and truly felt like I was apart of the Michealis Mattress family. I highly recommend this establishment if you’re in need of a new mattress, pillows, or even sheets. Nancy was beyond excellent! I will definitely be back if I were to ever need a mattress.

I was in the market to buy a brand name foam mattress for a $1000.Instead I spent $1600 today. It was for a queen sized Sealy firm mattress. But that extra $600 includes a motorized base (foot and head), decorative metal foot and head boards, water proof cover, delivery and installation.I’m very happy with my deal. Ask for Audrey. The best place by far to buy a Mattress in the Columbia area. Customer service is top notch. Purchased one mattress that did not work out and easily exchanged for one that we love. After that we purchased 3 more mattresses for a second home and they delivered 2.5 hours away. One of the mattresses we selected was unavailable on the delivery date and we were upgraded to a nicer mattress at no charge. This level of customer service is rare and much appreciated!

After shopping at a store that sells mattresses (along with groceries) to find out they had the mattress in stock but no box spring I decided to go to Michaelis Mattress. What a wonderful experience! Donna was my salesperson in the Lexington SC store. I got a great deal and to top off the day, the young men who delivered the mattress and box spring, were so polite and careful. They are an asset to the company. Thank you Michaelis Mattress! I will do business with you again and recommend you to my friends and family.

Great mattress purchase and customer service

Pushy biased sales people. We just wanted to try some of the mattresses to make a decision to buy. We ended up purchasing a mattress because we needed one but, we will definitely not be returning for the others we need. The woman we had was a predictable judgemental southern lady. She kept pushing us back to the same overly expensive mattress instead of hearing our needs. Be weary when you come here.

Very friendly staff! We went to one of the big box mattress stores in town before we came to Michaelis and we werent impressed by their customer service. As soon as we stepped into Michaelis, we were impressed. Nancy assisted us and was so helpful and not pushy. We purchased a mattress on a Saturday and they delivered it to our house on Monday. It was such an easy process and we LOVE our new mattress so much!

Purchased a beautiful hall table fir the unheard of price of $5.00. Nancy was a wonderful sales lady. I see some wonderful bedroom sets. True furniture and not second hand furniture.

I had Robert as my sales person, he was knowledgeable, patient (thank goodness!)and not pushy at all. He answered all my questions, got our mattress delivered quickly and was able to make a deal that made sense for both of us.The delivery guys were on time in their 2 hour window and also called us with a 15 minute heads up. They are neat and clean, dressed professionally and were quick and courteous.I would definitely buy from them again, terrific purchasing experience!

I’m sure my neighbor got a great mattress. I got a lawn job from their delivery driver! Train your people to drive the truck. It’s not much larger than a minivan!

The best service from everyone in the store including the owner. Everyone was so respectful and the whole experience was great. Bought mattress, box spring and headboard and had it in my house two hours. Even the delivery drivers were great. I would recommend to everyone. I had a great nights sleep last night and feel great this AM. This is what a buying experience should be like.

I bought a $900.00 simmons mattress about 4 years ago, it was a really bad mattress with no support, the company replaced it. 2nd mattress is really bad as well. There are large bumps in it when we get out of bed in the morning. My husband and me fall towards the middle at night. Put in a request for them to check it out again over one month ago and no one has called me back. The mattress has a 10 year warranty.
