My wife and I shop here for all our office needs. The staff is friendly and helpful. What blew me away about this Office Depot is they do a Small Business Spotlight; where they setup a marketing table at the entrance of the store for a different local business. Really nice to see a large corporation giving back to local community! Big shout out to Bear and his hard working staff!

Came in to drop off a package for Fed Ex. Was greeted by Office Depot employee Cam. The line was long, I had a neck brace on, told him I had recently had disc surgery. He said he would take care of it for me after the line was shorter. He later sent me a text with the tracking number. I called him and thanked him. You very rarely find that kind of service these days. When I need office supplies or furniture, I know where I will go. Thanks Cam!

I had bought an HP Officejet 8610 printer several years ago from our local Office Depot store in Lexington SC, and was satisfied with the performance of the product (paid around $300 for this product). I had purchased HP ink for this product multiple times before, and it worked fine. However the last time I went to the store to get HP ink, Office Depot was out of stock. So the clerk recommended the Office Depot substitute ink for HP printers which I bought and installed and used for about 1.5 months before my HP printer started having problems. I subsequently read a few online reviews which stated that this ink w/could sometimes cause problems for some printers, and that most likely my print head was damaged from the Office Depot cartridges. So I went to take the Office Depot cartridges back and talk to a manager, and they told me that they would not take the ink cartridges back ,, and also that I should not have bought them in the first place.!? HUH? So then they told me I could buy the HP cartridges now instead since they were now in stock, and try replacing them in the printer to see if they might work (which I did), but to no avail they did not. So now my HP printer will not print and seems is permanently damaged from Office Depot printer ink cartridges (that by the way say they are for HP printers), and so now I am without a printer. So I went back to Office Depot to talk to a manager to see if there were any solutions they could offer (I would have even considered buying a new printer if they were willing to work out some kind of deal for me ,, even though I was only going on their recommendation which ruined my printer in the first place). However, the manager I spoke with at the store was just flat out not willing to help me resolve this issue in any way. In fact, he barely gave me the time of day at the store (was even borderline rude). The manager that I spoke with told me that this was not their fault, and that I should not have bought or installed the non HP ink, and further was not willing to offer anything in terms of settling my concerns (in fact I asked point blank if he would be willing to do anything further in terms of giving me some kind of deal on another printer, and he just plain flat out said NO). I have been a long time customer of this store and have bought many products from there (including file cabinets, desks, chairs, office supplies, printers, and other various devices), but not any more! Lexington SC store ( at least the managers) seem to not care about customers very much. I am an unhappy customer and will not shop there any longer. Also closing my online account. I will be posting this to Google reviews as well. Great job guys !!

Great experience! I bought a printer and a week later it broke. I had purchased a 2 yr coverage on it but since I had just bought it I was referred back to the store. I spoke to Bear, the store manager and he was excellent! He made right on the printer and also gave me an upgrade (at the same price)because they didnt have a replacement for the one I had originally bought. He also let me have the ink that was in the broken one. Made my day! Its so nice to encounter great customer service! Thank you Bear! Youre Amazing!

Terrible experience...here buying school supplies, and was overcharged. came back inside to return wrong items, and was told that associate would have to ring up ALL of our itend again. never had such a hassle returning something ANYWHERE before! ZACK, your customer service is horrible. argumentative, combative, and rude!

A special thanks to store manager Mr. Bear. He explains what they did with damage PCs. He continues to be accessible if needed. I do appreciate that.Thank you, Cindy and Zack, the technical support team. They try very hard to fix this brand new computer. I only made one payment on my Visa card. This PC had, non-working ports. Therefore, the technicians could not do a diagnostic test.So, Lenovo is getting back their raggly computer/laptop. I really give my hat off to the technical support team at office Depot in Lexington, SC.No more Lenovo!

Came by around 11:30-12 was told by manager at the time that they had a desk in stock, just arrived. Couldnt buy because system down. Came back few hours later just to be told they dont have the desk boxed in back, when we were told previously that it was in fact in stock.reason for 1star=Also received slight smart remarks from manager when requested he check back there behind his employee. Overall, cant recommend this store for furniture. Go elsewhere. Terrible experience, you get better empathy from Walmart workers .

Poor customer service . Store full of employees and no customers but failed to provide better assistance with my attempt to mail off a letter. There is a smaller independently owned print shop that faxes and has P.O. Boxes as well not far from here. I will be checking this store out next time I am in need of services like this.

Train by teaching your employees some manners for Customers Service. Everyone I’ve encountered at Mail/Ship/Print/Copy has a curt attitude. Example: “You need somethin? the line is over there.” Rude.

We had a great visit this morning 😊. Such a nice store, they have a great supplies for your office needs. The prices are okay 👍, they are in line. The store is well organized, easy to find what you need, we were met at the check out with a very nice smile and a very nice attitude, the clerk was so nice and helpful, His name was Garland, Thank you Garland for helping us get our discount, that was a big help, saved us over 5 bucks, that very helpful and we want to thank you for your kindness. I was a consistent customer, but time and time, again, an employee named Brian, would make highly inappropriate remarks about his attraction towards me. The straw that broke the camels back, so to speak, is when he gave me his number, while I was paying for my document to be printed, and ultimately, I quit shopping at this particular store.Brian made me highly uncomfortable, and I put up with him, longer than I should have. If he is acted this way towards me, I can assure you, that I am not the only customer he is making highly uncomfortable remarks to.I will NEVER give my business to this particular Office Depot, because of Brian. You guys have a highly problematic employee, and if you guys do not want to face legal issues, you better sever ties with Brian.

Zack makes this place alright. I have shopped here multiple times with lousy service and what I thought was my last time shopping there I left w/o purchasing anything.. A gift card for Christmas brought me back in and I had even more problems with it not working bc the strip would not read on their register.... another customer service manager was repulsively rude and unhelpful until Zack stepped in and helped me out. He was very knowledgeable, professional, polite and patient. Zack, and Zack alone won my business back.

Very poor customer service and they don’t know how to type into a computer a serial number. I ask for a simple thing and they speak to you like you’re stupid when you ask them if they have a different product. Go somewhere else.

I am a school teacher, and today I went to Office Depot in Lexington, SC to purchase some items for my classroom. When I got to the register, I saw a coupon for 20% off for teachers. I asked the guy at the register (who was also a customer service manager) if I could use it. He replied that I needed to provide my teacher ID. I responded that my district takes up our IDs at the end of the school year because we are re-issued new ones on the first day of in-service. I told him that I had been teaching for over 15 years and that the items I had on the counter were for my classroom. He responded in a monotone voice that I had to have my teacher ID, and he proceeded to check me out with no 20% discount. Not only did he not trust me, but he didn’t look me in the eye or smile. I think I will take my business elsewhere in the future. ☹️

Used the printing service and now will never go back. Their computer changed the format on the power point and printed completely wrong to where the slides were useless. Through the process the associate never shared their screen and once printed put in a bag before bringing over-sadly I trusted it was correct and walked out. Found the error the next day hours before a big meeting and rushed to get prints at FedEx. The following day I went back asking for a refund showing the useless slide decks that came from them 2 days prior and the associate said she needed to see the digital file. While annoyed I drove home got the file and went back, then the associate told me no refunds were available regardless but she would reprint for me. I didnt need a reprint as the meeting had passed. What is most frustrating about this whole thing is that the associate made it seem like a refund was possible and wasted an hour of my time and then became argumentative when I gave her the feedback to have customers check prints before purchase. I dont think the policy prioritizes customer satisfaction and at the end of it I left feeling very frustrated and annoyed. For that, I have to give them 1 star and take my weekly printing needs elsewhere.

The manager here is incompetent and unable to staff his store correctly so customers can be handled on a good timely basis. Employees here seem to be quitting left and right. Customer service reps are very rude and don’t seem to have a willingness to help. It’s more like they are dealing with a customer rather than helping them with their problem. I get better service at Staples. This place is a joke.

Rude manager! They had products advertised, on the shelf, as being in stock, and they werent. When I questioned the manager, Kershaw, he was EXTREMELY rude and unhelpful. He acted like I had no right to question him and that I was bothering him for asking in the first place. Then, the product I did purchase rang up higher than marked! The only reason Im giving two stars is at least the cashier was helpful and nice despite his poor management.

If you need anything for your home office or business then this is the place when you come to Lexington. I went in to buy a chair and they didnt have anymore in stock at the location. So I was allowed to buy the floor model. Wish I couldve received a greater discount. The Lexington Chamber offers a discounted card that works sometimes when you purchase items from this location.

This is not necessarily a review of the Lexington store, but a review of the corporate policies. I recently purchased a rolling briefcase, in which the handle broke with the first use. I tried to leave a product review of the item, which was written in a very professional manner. I provided positive remarks on the design, but mentioned how it was not reliable enough for me.This was an office depot product line item and my review was denied. I cannot support a company that cannot accept a critical review of their products. As soon as I receive a refund I will not be purchasing any of my business items from Office Depot. Its unacceptable business practice to deny a negative review of your product.

Purchased a RealSpace Magellan Performance Collection L Shaped desk from Office Depot yesterday. My wife and I have been working for multiple hours over the span of 2 days to put it together. Come to find out there are 2 pieces missing, the bottoms to two of the drawers. I called the store to ask what to do and get referred to call the manufacture. I spent over 45 minutes going in circles with them. The store finally said they would do an exchange but I had to bring my whole desk back into the store... which ive already explained is 90% put together. Excuse me? The whole desk is put together with screws and dowels with glue. Seriously. They would not offer any help what so ever. The employee who answered the phone could care less about the problem. Called them back to let them know that if they have any more of these desks they might want to check their inventory so they can stop selling desks that are missing pieces. Again, the same employee answered the phone and did not care at all they were selling incomplete items. So now I have to wait 8-10 weeks for the missing pieces from the manufacturer to finish putting my desk together. WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS STORE. HORRIBLE SERVICE.

You would think uploading a print order via the internet would expedite things. It doesnt. Theres always a wait when you go in to pick up your order, and even then, your order isnt always right. The good thing is theyll fix it for you. It just requires you to wait even longer.

Extremely rude Assistant manager Kershaw. Arrived at 5:20 pm they close at 6 Pm. He said he pretty much didn’t know if he could print the small amount of copies I needed made. He walked off to count the till for the day. I am extremely displeased with the lack of customer service and IGNORING a customer. He and the other assoctaie a lady completely ignored me. Having Assistant manager tag means you should be worrying about helping customers. I will be taking my business to Pine Press.

I wouldnt recommend coming here if youre wearing anything that doesnt cover you from head to toe (even though its 100°) outside because otherwise the employees may harrass you and make you feel incredibly uncomfortable.Management needs to train their employees how to not sexually harrass customers.What kind of world do we live in that I cant buy freaking office supplies without harrassed?!For reference, it was 104° outside and I was wearing a romper that my grandmother bought me. 😡Highly unsatisfied and will not be returning...

On 3/4/18 at 5:25 I entered the Lexington Office Depot to make 7 color copies of documents Ill need during a hospital executive meeting Ill be conducting in Albuquerque NM on Tuesday. After learning the copiers did not print MS Word documents from my USB drive, I approached the print desk to seek guidance. The employee was assisting another couple so my wife and I were waiting until he was available. The store closes at 6:00pm. The employee took a moment to ask me, Can I help you? I iterated the issue I encountered and asked how I could print 7 single-paged MS Word documents. He looked at his watch and quipped, No, those printers dont print MS Word documents and that he wouldnt be able to assist me. I left and traveled 25 minutes to a Kinkos in Irmo, SC... the print job took 8 minutes. A customer, and his family - lost business from this point going forward.

After calling this store to get information about a router/modem and been put on hd for 15 min I finally hung up. My wife son and I walked into the store and was not greeted or ask of we needed any help. I found what I was looking for and picked up the box and starting looking for someone that worked there when a girl that worked there came up and yanked it out of his hand. She then started to walk away and I told her we wanted to purchase one. She said in a very rid voice Ill have to check to see if we have any. I told her that it said online that they had 4 she snapped at me well thats probably wrong. Then she just stood there. I finally ask her what we were waiting on and she said he is checking to see if we have any. Finally some guy came out whispered something to her and said Ill tell you later and they both laughed. She scan in our purchase and very rudely ask if we wanted the warranty. We told her no. Our 7 year old son was looking at the very cheaply made figet spinners they had at the cash register and she keep looking at him and rolling her eyes the whole time. If you dont want kids to look at them dont put them on the counter. She was so rude along with how the guy acted I will never go. I do not suggest this store to anyone.
