If youve ever wanted a little taste of France back home, this is the place. They fly in a lot of their wares directly from Paris, Normandy, and other areas in France. I love the simple elegance of their sandwiches, and the Macarons are some of the best Ive ever had. They also have a variety of French products, though a handful were produced in Quebec (which is worth it in its own right). Well worth popping your head in and exploring. Everyone there is very sweet and pleasant.

I’m a longtime fan of MA France. Their products are amazing. However, I had a very unpleasant experience today.I went to MA France around 10:15 am. I bought a bunch of items: croissants, madeleines, a baguette, eclairs and two french spreads (artichoke and olives). When I was paying for all my stuff, I realized that the guy that was ringing my stuff was forgetting to charge me for the two spreads. I let him know, and he included them in my bill. He asked me if I wanted a receipt, but because I trust in people’s honesty, I told him to keep it.From there, I went to do some grocery shopping and pick up some other things for my daughter. I arrived home in like 45 minutes. I put everything on the counter, and around noon, when I started to unpack my shopping, I realized that the guy forgot to pack the spreads (to be absolutely sure, I took the time to check throughly: my car, the garage, the works). Indeed, they weren’t there. I thought the guy forgot to put them in and probably, as has happened to me before at other businesses, put them aside when he realized I forgot them (or that he forgot to pack them).Around 1 pm, I went back to the store with my 11-year-old. All the parking spots nearby were taken, so I asked her to go into the store to pick up the spreads while I waited in the car. She went into the store and they told her that they didn’t have the spreads. I called them some minutes later, and the same French employee that rang me up earlier picked up the phone. When I told him that he forgot to pack the spreads, he has the audacity to tell me that I already took them and I was trying to steal from the store. I got so upset. If this store wants to keep their clients, they need to start training their people better. They lost me as a client. Beware when you shop there and get more than two or three items. The food is very authentically French, but the service needs some work.

Frustrating policies with a touch of dishonesty. The first time I went, I ordered 1/3 of a pound of comté and an epoisses. The owner tried to upsell me to just over a 1/2 pound of comté as she only had that piece left and couldn’t sell the remaining small bit if she cut me a 1/3, which I declined politely— and said I understood if she didn’t want to cut the last bit. She sold me the 1/3 but then **added the cost** of the additional comté weight that I didn’t want to the price of the époisses, even apparently going as far as putting a second price tag over the original. I ended up paying for product that I didn’t want and didn’t get.The second time I called in an order, they told me to “hold for two minutes,” left the phone off the hook for six, and stopped picking up. I got through on the third try, placed a one-item phone order, and they told me ten minutes… 20 minutes later and they hadn’t started making it. This is sort of understandable, and everyone is understaffed, but in the context of my first visit the previous year, it was pretty frustrating. With apologies for losing my temper, I won’t try going back.

Good people, good Covid protocols, and great authentic French food! Whats not to love? Fine, I guess it is a little expensive- but its worth it, especially the croissants, and the experience that comes along with the price tag is notable! Pastries are amazing! Treat yourself to an Almond croissant. The butter they use really stands out, adding a wonderful flavor, enhanced further by being baked to a rich brown color. The almond filling is tasty without being too sweet. It is a bit pricey, but well worth it. (Paul or Nero prices but a cut above) The place to go for special occasions or entertaining close friends and family.

This is a great place to stop in to pick up excellently made pastries, croissants & other treats or some more substantial food too, like melted cheesy sandwiches and more. You can eat at one of the few tables inside or as take out. Its very worth going in to check out and theyve got some shelf items to peruse, teas, cookies, very nice lotions, soaps etc, I believe its all from France or mostly is. I got an espresso, croissants, chocalatines and a crepe. Id be sharing a picture had they lasted the car ride home-but we ate them fast. Ill definitely be back soon to try their creme brulee.

Fun little “very” French place. Mostly a bakery, but there do serve food (mostly crepes), cheese, limited deli and general merchandise. Unusually pleasant people (female owner seems to set the standard). It’s a little jewel where you get a homey vibe - instead of the usual “I’m really too busy and important to deal with stupid Americans”. The place really needs to be at least three times as large. This is not a value-priced store, but it is well worth what you pay.

Also you will find imported French cheese, chocolate, dry goods and other French gift items. The store is very clean and comfortable to be in and those who work there are warm, friendly and professional. For all these reasons I highly recommend Ma-France!
