Eddie demonstrates great work every time! I have had Eddie (CA Johnson Plumbing) twice to do service at my home. The first, was the water heater where the location is in the attic and recently the placement of two commodes in my home. Eddie is kind, patient, and efficient!

Went to this Home Depot because of their online inventory. That was a joke, was out. The best joke was the help. The lady blew me off because she had other customers but had help. I waited 10 min. in front of her waiting. She felt she had more important things to do like assisting her coworker and answering the phone.

Had a hot water heater go out on me. This review is about the store. Getting the product paying for the product and the cashier ALEXIS all 5 star!!! She made it all happen honoring a price and making sure the transaction was as painless as possible. Cant say anyone with no hot water and needing an expensive water heater has a smile on their face but the purchasing and store experience could not have been better. Now the same day install or install at all is a total joke. I called the number spoke to customer service started a install ticket and still have yet to be contacted by anybody at home depot or the install department/team. I was given a claim# and the company that would contact me but still no contact. I went and paid an outside company to come out and install the product. I go to home depot I support home depot and all of my home products are purchased there. Not having hot water is an emergency in my household and the cost would not have mattered. I am a bit disappointed with this aspect of my purchase but in no way shape or form is it on the lexington home depot store!!!!

I visited this location once this week and had a pleasant experience. The selection of what I was buying wasnt very good but no worse than lowes (Had to check both stores to see if either had what I was looking for. Unfortunately the selection and prices were comparable on grinder blades.) I did get help from an employee to find them and he was able to point me in the right direction.

The store is clean and well kept, but this Big Box really needs to work on their employee training as to where things are. If youre not aware, every store is different, and products can be just about anywhere. It would be great if employees at least knew the general direction of where the departments are! Went in recently and was sent all the way to the back corner to plumbing when I asked about joist hangers. Thats a little extreme, dont you think?

If you are purchasing a large appliance and hope to have it delivered/installed, BEWARE!!!Home Depot contracts GE Delivery, who contracts local delivery companies, who hire independent contractors to do the job. And NO ONE wants to take responsibility when something goes wrong.I purchased a dishwasher over a month ago and set up a delivery and install date that was on a Saturday so I would be sure to be off work. I paid for everything that day.The day before delivery, I get an automated call with my delivery window of 2pm-6pm and a message that the driver will call me 30 minutes before arrival. On delivery day, I wait. And wait. And wait. There is a number you can call, but no one is there past 2pm on Saturdays, so I just got an automated system telling me the delivery was delayed but still on the way. Home Depot is NO help at this point, as they wash their hands of the whole transaction once they collect their money. They have no idea who has the product or where it is, nor do they have any way to contact anyone. After about 8:30pm, the automation started telling me that my delivery was on schedule. Yeah. Sure.Monday morning, I was finally able to get in touch with GE Delivery. They were not able to tell me why I never got my delivery or why no one bothered to call me to say they were delayed and not coming. They did reschedule me for Wednesday afternoon. So I took the afternoon off work, and when the delivery driver showed up, he told me he could not install it because of the way the lines are run.Let me be clear. Home Depot did NOT ask me ANY questions other than if I was sure the dishwasher would fit in the space, if someone would be home and if I already had a dishwasher installed.I refused the delivery and drove straight to Home Depot, where I was told that they could refund my delivery/install/haul away fee immediately but that the refund for the dishwasher would have to wait until the dishwasher was scanned back into the warehouse and went through the refund system. This, I was told, would take 24-48 hours and depended on how long it took the delivery company to scan the item back into the system. Then I would have to go back to the store and put my card in the reader in order to get the refund. The manager told me she would call me Saturday with an update.I called GE Delivery, who throughout all this was the LEAST helpful, and was able to get the name of the delivery company they contracted out. I called them, and the nice lady there told me that there is a long list of questions that Home Depot is supposed to ask the customer in order to avoid situations like this, but they never do. She said would scan the dishwasher in herself by the next morning and would call me back when it was done. She called me back the next day to say it was done.Guess who never called me? The manager at Home Depot. So I called today (Monday. More than one week since I was supposed to have the dishwasher installed.). The man I talked to was nice but not helpful. He said he was having problems with the system but was going to get together with another employee and call me back. He returned my call about an hour later and left a message saying the system was showing an error code and they were working on it but to give it A COUPLE OF DAYS!!!!!!!As I was writing this, a nice young lady called from Home Depot saying my refund is ready and I can come any time. So, at least it appears I will FINALLY be getting my money back. Although I will not feel confident until it is actually back in my bank account.There does not exist a world in which I could have said, Ill pay you for the dishwasher when I have it installed. They will snatch your money right out of your account, but when it comes to getting a refund due to THEIR incompetence, you have to jump through hoops and wait forever.This has been a nightmare of an experience with terrible customer service to boot. Its clear that Home Depot does not care about little old me. And it will be a cold day in Hell before I buy so much as a nail from them.

Received near dead plants delivered upside down. They are sitting in my sink in some water. Barely any green on them because the dirt fell out of the pots. You will never get a plant order from me again! Proven Winners evidently means comes almost dead and leaves beat off the plants!!! Shame on you for charging me that much for stuff I could get off the almost dead rack at your local store for a few bucks!

As others have said high prices and very poor customer service. I was treated like a thief because I returned a overpriced item which I found cheaper at a competitor. I have the receipt with about a thousand others, but didnt have it with me. The lady at the returns desk started slamming things around and snatched the tool from me saying this time only. I was like WTH??? Bit my tongue and walked out, will not be returning, ever.

Sales people will tell you anything to get your money. Delivery is not on time, in fact Ive been waiting three weeks. Now I find out my flooring will not be brought into the house .. which I paid extra to have. If you cant carry it out with you, choose a more reliable place to shop. Unless you dont mind waiting indefinitely after spending your money and getting lied to numerous times.

Im so disappointed about the Behr stain that I bought and started putting on my deck floor. It is like milk..very thin! Beside that it had a light green tint and was supposed to be light gray.I took it back and was told I couldnt exchange it! Finally I was able to get 2 new gallons after one associate called the manager and got permission. I picked out a different color to tint those gallons..pepper something which looked like brownish gray. I applied that to my deck and now its BLUE! Theres something wrong when you cant rely on the sample cards OR THE CHART OF STAIN SAMPLES!! NO MORE BEHR for me! AND THEY NEED TO GIVE SOME OF THEIR PAINT DEPT. ASSOCIATES MORE TRAINING SO THEY CAN BE HELPFUL. I ll be going to a regular paint store from now on! I wouldnt want to work in the paint dept if i didnt even know the basics of the stain charts. Its got to be embarassing not to know how to decipher the way the charts are set up. Also he couldnt tell me which brush would be best for my project. ..just read the lable! Great!

A little disappointed. The item I was needing was showing that it had 8 of them in stock. When I asked someone about then told me they were out of them and they could order them. He never even checked the system to see why it was showing in stock. Ended up going to a different store. I have always enjoyed Home Dept but lately the customer service sucks.

Enjoy quick self checkout when purchasing a few items. Associates on sales floor are helpful if needed. Town of Lexington needs to provide designated Left turn arrow at every change of traffic light. Left turn can be risky anytime on busy/congested U.S. Hwy 378. Patrons to all retail businesses could access stores with less risk at this location.

Never do business with these people! From not delivering $6000 of appliances, because we have stairs to our kitchen, to now making us sit home two days for a delivery of $1000 of mulch that never came! They even lied and said they attempted delivery! Then they pushed the delivery back 2 weeks! The manager on staff on Easter was rude & would not email me the receipt of refund! Use Lowes! They wont jerk you around like this!

[**Important Reference**: My wife and I are both Active Duty Army Captains in transition from our assignments in Virginia and South Carolina en route to a multi-year assignment in the Pacific region)Glidepath to Anthony (AJ) Pellegrino Failure:16MAR21: My wife and I were refunded our money for one (1) gas dryer unit from AJs Home Depot, and AJ scheduled for the unit to be picked up on 10APR21.9APR21: My wife received an automated courtesy phone call regarding the gas dryer unit pick up at our residence the next day, 10APR21.10APR21: My wife waits at our SC residence the entire day for the Home Depot movers to pick up the unit; they never show. During the day and the following day, my wife called to follow up on the situations no response.11APR21 - 12APR21: My wife reaches out to Home Depot to reschedule the appliance pickup since her window for moving overseas is steadily approaching.12APR21 (13APR21 in my records, but by this time I am in the Pacific starting my military assignment and 13 hours ahead EST): I chat with Home Depot online about the dryer unit pick up, and they tell me the same thing that AJs Home Depot is saying, keep the unit, the unit is outside of its return window.13May21: My wifes household goods (HHG) are picked up from our house in South Carolina, including the gas dryer that Home Depot never picked up, the same gas dryer that both the customer service and online representative said to keep. AJ calls my wife as the HHG movers are departing our residence in SC, threatening her of financially charging us for the unit because he suddenly has an inventory inspection and is missing a unit, despite the fact that we had been reaching out to his Home Depot and Home Depot online about the unit pickup. AJ was highly unprofessional and rude to my wife, including the threats of charging us financially if he does not get the unit back that he failed to follow up on. AJ failed to inform his customer service to communicate correctly to us and failed his inventory because, by this time, it had been nearly two (2) months since we initially set up a Home Depot pickup of the dryer unit. Despite all of AJs leadership and managerial failures, he threatens my wife to pay for the unit.14May21: My wife coordinated with the HHG movers to allow AJ onto US Federally secured property to break open our prepared, packaged, and sealed cargo crate to be shipped to the Pacific to get his unit. While my wife and the HHG movers unpacked the cargo crate of personal items, AJ waited in his truck and was satisfied to see the unit finally picked up so that he would not be charged for the item missing in his inventory. The lack of ability for Anthony Pellegrino to professionally manage and lead his Home Depot organization caused my wife to reschedule several military PCS appointments.All this to say that this is not about money(my wife and I are both Army Captains in our mid 20s), its not about Home Depot per se(the organization is a corporation like any other hardware business), but about the failure that one leader (Anthony AJ Pellegrino) in an organization can cause on others. I have already emailed AJ, along with Erin Izen (Director, Workforce Development and Military Relations) and Charles Wilson(Regional Vice President), to inform them that I would be posting this on multiple platforms (i.e., BBB, Home Deport Google Review, Home Depot Feedback Report, and Home Depot Facebook Page). If you support Home Depot, than that is your prerogative, but be aware of the Merchandising Assistant Store Manager at this location and how he chooses to threaten customers when he fails at his job.

I have to say I’m highly disappointed with the poor customer service received at Home Depot today (and quite frankly, previous visits as well). I went in to purchase a washer and dryer and the employee (started with M) seemed very unhappy to help (like I was bothering her), she would not let me explain or show her the washer I was interested in, and cut me off when I was trying to ask a question....all around rude. So disappointing.

I bought a saw stand and miter saw at the Fernandina store. Ashley was very helpful. They didnt have the saw but they had the stand. She called the Lexington store because they showed having 2 saws. I waited and heard the girl at Lexington say they had 2 of them. As the transaction went on the Lexington store hung up on Ashley multiple times. She finally resolved it. When my employee went there with the paid receipt they said they didnt have any of those saws and were quite rude about it. They said he had to go to Fernandina to pick it up. After multiple phone calls I finally got it resolved because they did in fact have 2 saws on the floor. The Lexington store wasted our time, costing me money to have an employee standing there for over an hour no reason other than they didnt care. I give the Fernandina store 5 stars but Lexington 1 star.

I was interested in purchasing something but I was told to wait until the rep was done with lunch or wait until the next shift. Personally, there should always be someone onsite to provide assistance to customers. Customers Matter!

HD refuses to honor their price match policy. The washer and dryer we bought (and still havent received) went on sale at both their own store and Lowes. They refused to match because the washer was delivered from the store and the dryer was out of stock at the store. So no matter what, they wont price match. If it is out of stock it doesnt qualify, and if it is in stock it doesnt qualify because they deliver from the store and not the warehouse. NEVER AGAIN!

They recently renovated their showroom. They placed large markers along the aisles to help you locate items more easily and quickly. I really appreciate the changes they have made at the Lexington SC store! I purchased some products for my bathroom, good selection of home improvement products and services 👌 👍. Go check them out, right off of Hwy 378 behind the CVS pharmacy. Wide aisles, easier to find the products for your home improvement projects!!!😃 Keep up the good work 🙂

Bought a 46 inch riding lawnmower Saturday they were supposed to deliver it Monday. They call me at 10am Monday to tell me they couldnt deliver to my house as property was to hard to access. Had 50+ deliveries no issue. So they tell me reschedule for Wednesday and im like no deliver today because these guys are lieing. So they say well call u back. They do, say there is no lawn mower available within 30 miles. So it went fromwe cant deliver to we dont have one. There was 2 on Saturday when i bought it. So my review is lieing management, dont want to keep there word on purchases, wont find a replacement to busy to take care of customer. Save your money dont shop here.

Terrible service all around. In the store the person I asked for help didnt know what he was doing and at the register the person didnt know how to add. My change was 9 dollars. I wanted to give her a dollar so I could get a ten dollar bill as change and she could not figure it out and refused to do it. This is who Home Depot is putting at its check out. Its apparently a really good place to walk your dog and to park in the loading zone while shopping without reprocussions. Lots of staff walking around no one ever asks may I help you. Curbside pick up is joke. Absolutely no inventory control.

Angela no call-no showed to my kitchen renovation appointment. Wasted an entire Saturday afternoon. She is apparently the only designer, and I was not able to reschedule in a reasonable time frame. I took my business elsewhere, if she can’t be responsible enough to manage a simple appointment I don’t want her or Home Depot working on my kitchen.
