I was recommended this place by my wifes friend from church. I went and was greeted promptly walking in the door by Misty Laney. Misty was attentive to my needs and was able to give me recommended sets of appliances that would go together very well. She also gave me a discount for buying a bundled amount of appliances together which took a couple hundred off. Thank you Misty and appliance king for the great service and product! I met misty today at appliance king and omg shes amazing!! Best service ever! She helped me get a new fridge, stove and dishwasher. Shes so sweet and helpful I really appreciate all her help. I had a bad experience in high point with Joes appliance in a old deli place and they screwed me over but misty saved me and got me the best deal on such beautiful appliances. If I ever need anything ever again im definitely going there!!

Discount store? More like overpriced. Selling dented refrigerators for $1900.00 no handles everything was over priced for the condition the appliances were in from scuffs to dents.

Had some issues with a washer,and they made it right.

Great prices and friendly customer services.My husband and I purchased a washing machine and a dryer, both at very good prices.However the dryer didn’t last very long before it started not to work. They came down twice within the three months of purchasing to try and fix it, free of charge, but the dryer still doesn’t dry properly.I would recommend this place if you have some sort of experience fixing these kinds of appliances, because they are really affordable and look to be in great conditions. Given that they are used appliances you will eventually run into some electrical issues.

I had been shopping for a refrigerator since mine had died. A friend recommended me to this place because of my budget. I wasnt disappointed. Friendly staff, good selection, great prices! Yes, there are some models with a scratch or a dent but I purchased a Stainless Frigidaire Side by Side that sold for $1199 at Lowes for $750 after tax. Ill be shopping for a stove next.

Bought a washer and dryer got to the house and hooked them up washer worked dryer did not. Talked to the guy that sold it to me and told me dont worry we will bring you another one so u dont have to wait for a repair. Thanks the next day he wasnt there working and thought they wasnt going to honor his word but afterwards they did and it was brought to me and that dryer works great. They both are this has been over a week ago. Will be back but will make them write out on paper what they say they will do if a problem occurres.

Very high prices and bad customer service

Friendly staff. Definitely a scratch and dent warehouse but in a good way. Tons of inventory, most of it in new or like-new condition. Met one salesman who was eager to show off all of the products in stock, explain how they acquire inventory, price items, etc. Ill definitely be purchasing from them in the future; wish I knew about this place before my last remodel!

I have been doing business with Dan (owner) and the team over at Appliance King for years. I hate to say it, but it seems they have gotten too big to the point where they dont care about their customers anymore.You use to be able to go get a decent deal, entire appliance set and they would sacrifice profit for their customers. Unfortunately, this isnt the case anymore.I went in there the other day and everything I saw was @ 95% retail price. It was like I was shopping at Lowes or Home depot. I asked to speak to Dan and was told he was busy, I told them I was fine to wait for him.a while. After 30 minutes and him walking by me 3-5 times a sales man said he couldnt see me.I worked with that salesman on a set and they barely offed me any discount, more then likely because I jas to pay his commission on the sale of top of them just being at the point where they only care about a higher profit margin.P.S. I would like to hear about other customers that have had a similar experience with them lately.Its too bad and I have to say that Im truly disappointed. Customers like you and me built their business ober the years and now they are turning their backs on us.Im definitely not going back and will need to find another supplier. Their are several out their that still care so I suggest you do the same and not waste your time with them.

We bought a refrigerator and stove in January or February. I was told that the stove was new. It definitely was not as there was food residue on the smooth surface top. The stove works fine, but the refrigerator has been nothing but trouble. It was missing parts, and does not cool food. We have a repairman here now repairing the refrigerator to the tune of $300. If we have any more issues, we will be purchasing a new one. I definitely will never buy from or recommend them.

We went into this place after seeing a dual adjustable bed listed online. I just wanted to say thank you to the staff here. My girlfriend is in a wheelchair and paralyzed. They treated her and I so nice, moved things out of the way so we could get to the back and look at the bed. They offered to in house finance the bed and literally delivered and set up our bed within a half hour after purchase.. Please anyone looking for good people and honorable business practices, please give this Appliance King your business.

We bought a refrigerator at Appliance King a few months ago. It was around $1200 at Lowes but we only paid $600. I LOVE my new fridge! We just went back and got a dishwasher and although they were low on inventory of dishwashers but we found one, Samsung for $260. What we bought were new with a few scratches, but we got a great deal!

Found a stove like I needed at the right price. Nice people to work with.

Today the only good thing about customer service was victor! He was really good and explained everything he was doing . So that star goes out to him .

In April, when we moved into our new place we went to Appliance King here in Lexington NC to purchase a refrigerator. The first fridge worked less than a week. They sent out another, it worked, but it leaked excessively. Thus began the two months of going back and forth with them to find a solution for the problem. They finally sent out a third which didnt work at all, leaving the second refrigerator out in the front yard. Within days they had to send out the fourth refrigerator. This one got hot to the touch. If you touched certain places on the front of it, it would leave red marks on your skin. Fast forward about two weeks to today... They come in, refused to even touch the fourth refrigerator, forcing my mothers nurse to take it outside, because Im not able. They plug it in and leave. Thats right. They say they cant take the fourth refrigerator away either. Now, we have two worthless refrigerators sitting outside our front door. This companys business practices are repulsive. Theyve taken advantage of my disabled mother thats on oxygen 24/7 and is a diabetic on insulin, myself, and my child. Whatever you do, dont buy a single thing from this place. They deserve to have their doors shut immediately.

The washer dryer combo was a great deal. However, delivery was a day late, installation was utterly inept, and took two more days, with repeated visits, and I still have problems. They installed my washer, said it was good to go, I turn it on, and no water is even entering the washer. What a shame... We were originally excited that we found the place but now really regret not just paying a little more for a brand new system with professional and responsible installation. What a disappointment this place turned out to be. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. NOT WORTH IT.

Nothing here is new. They sell damaged store returns and use glue , tape and screws for temporary fixes. They will not honor any warranty.

I am on a fixed income and was told that they are the best place to buy some appliances needless to say i bought a stove and fridge well the stove works but i have lost over $500 worth of meat cause they sold me a crappy one
