I love Hobby Lobby! I come here for all of my craft needs. However, I will no longer go to the Lawrence, KS location. I was in line and there was one person in front of me already being helped. They had a cart full of things so I had already been waiting for about 5 minutes. After the cashier with a long pony tail finished ringing up everything as the lady was paying the cashier puts up her register closed sign and said she needs to take her break so there are 3 other lanes I can be helped at. I get in the lane next to the one I was originally at. There were two people in-front of me. One was already being helped. Then there was only one in-front of me and same thing happened! The cashier lady with glasses and short grey hair put her register closed sign up and said she had to go to lunch and that there are two other lanes that can help me. I was not going to wait for a third time in a third line! I just set my stuff on the counter and left. You should make sure your cashiers finish their lanes first before taking their break. Customers are supposed to come first. This is really bad customer service.

Clean store, normally very quiet, and always a friendly staff. Just come during the fifty percent sales for the best prices.

Would be great to shop here on Sunday. I think Jesus would understand if you had 12-5 on Sundays.

I visited this location today and was greeted by about 5 people standing at the front door. I went in looking for paint dobbers and could not find them. As I walked around the store, I noticed that there werent any associates available to get help. I had to walk back up to the front where everyone was still standing around. I then asked them where they would be. One person said in the birthday card area, another pointed the opposite direction. No one offered to leave where they were standing around and help me out. I headed towards the birthday card section and became frustrated as I just couldnt find what I was looking for. I ended up leaving and going to Michaels where the associates were helpful and walked me to the product I was looking for. I highly doubt I will be back to this store.

This is by far the best hobby store, the prices are reasonable and I just cant get all the way through the store. I love this store.

Hobby Lobby is what it is, however, they have so much fun stuff that challenges you to be creative and get your mind out of the proverbial box. Too bad they retired the long standing 40% off coupon, but in these messed up times, I understand.

If you know your way around Hobby Lobby this place is awesome. It was just hard to find certain things because isle signs were not visible and no basic dept signs were seen. Other than that its a super store.

Its a great store for craft supplies. They still have model kits including gundam. Its a fairly Christian store, but not as religion focused as Micheals

Like the new location, dont have to deal with 23rd street any longer. If youre in town, youll probably have to deal with more traffic having to go through town but, if youre coming in from the south, less traffic, less hassle.

Really wish theyd bring back their 40% off coupon or at least a 30%. Would help out a lot

Would give 5 stars had it not been for the manager talking down and at his employees while I was shopping with my youngest children. I have been here multiple times and I don’t think I’ve seen or heard him treat his people well ever. The store always looks great and the staff is usually very nice and accommodating. Corporate really needs to get this guy removed and I think the store will be better.

Seriously DECEPTIVE pricing practices. I cant believe this company hasnt been sued for dishonest promotions. A 40% off coupon on ANY regularly priced item is good only on things with a certain color price tag. The REGULARLY PRICED items, for example, with yellow stickers are excluded because they call their REGULAR price a markdown even if thats the price of the item and has been for over a year. It is their regular price, but they game the system this way to exclude ALL the higher priced items in the store and prevent you from using their coupons on anything except cheap junk. Its just a gimmick to get you to the store. Nothing on the coupon or in store will tell you this. You only find out at the register. What an evil enterprise!

I have such a conflicting relationship with hobby lobby. The employees are always helpful, the fabric is top notch as far as design goes, it is fun to peruse the home decor, and the clearance areas always provide little gems hidden around the store. I appreciate for the employees the fact that they get Sundays off, however the faith infused health insurance provided always gives me pause. All in all, however, it is a great craft store.

The cashier was so friendly. She made sure to say hi to everyone that walked in and thanked everyone for coming as they left, all while checking. She is very observant. The store had a lot of variety. I do wish there was more of a selection for military in the scrapbook section. I use to be able to get Marine albums here for my son. I now have a son in the Army & am looking for an Army scrapbook album.

We found the items we wanted, small plant pots on sale, 40% off.

Went to hobby lobby. Apparently they feel that mandatory masks to stop the covid virus from spreading is a suggestion. There were numerous people without masks.

I love hobby lobbys selection, probably too much as I always get more then I plan! I didnt give them 5 stars because of their manual cash register system. Folks dont always know whats on sale and it makes the lines really long to check out. That is a downer for me.

Love this store! Its so inspiring to hear Christian tunes while shopping and is otherwise so inspiring to creativity. I purchase my citric acid there to make my bath bombs. They are the only place in town that sells it that I know of.

Both a facade and a mishmash of nostalgia and art. Lots of decor that is built of questionable quality from various places but a lot from China. Tagged with somewhat higher price tags. Merchandise placed on sale, making people feel like they got a haul.Its OK but its just not a place for a guy to spend much money.

Hobby Lobby did not have the Olive Drab paint marker I was looking for. But they did have 4 different High Grade Ban Dai Mobile Suit Gundam models.

Found some nice things. But I could not find anyone to help me. Had to walk around all over the site. But it was clean. And still had stuff this close to Christmas. But not a lot.

I love that its in this new location. But it feels smaller and I hate the layout of this store. It does not flow at all.Plus all off the furniture is up on the wall. worst.thing.ever. Do you know how annoying it is, to have to bother a employee to pull furniture down just to look at it! Simple answer is ill never buy furniture from this hobby lobby. However the customer service is always great, and the store is always clean. I shop here often, because its close to my house. Just frustrated with the new set up.

With exception of your cashiers, almost every other employee was wearing their masks below their chin. There is a state and county mask mandate that should probably be enforced, especially when posting signs requiring customers to be masked...

This hobby lobby is never busy but there is still too much staff here to help you with everything you need from regular birthday cards to weird requests like fairy garden items, yes I asked once.They have fabrics, big letters so you can put your name on your roof lit up big enough for planes flying over head or just some fake flowers.Fun little spot with all those crafty needs.

Their new store is nice. The cashiers have been really nice everytime Ive gone there. Everything Ive been looking for had always been instock. I feel that the prices are great as well. One of the few places I dont feel like its get it cheaper online.

The variety of craft supplies makes it my go to store. For example, I bought a linoleum carving set for Halloween pumpkins. There were 3 sets of which 2 were 50% off. The employees were super helpful when I could not find the carving sets.
