One of the best comic stores I have been in (over 40 years of shopping). Well organized, great inventory, fair and reasonable prices, and very clean. The owner is professional, friendly, very knowledgeable and helpful. This is now my go-to store!

We have been to so many comic stores over the past decade, and none compare to Chops Comics. This is, by far, the cleanest and most well organized comics establishment I have ever had the pleasure to shop at. Jason and Glenn truly know how to go the extra mile for their customers, and we always feel right at home when we pop in. Thank you, Chops, for being the best. Friendly neighborhood comic shop. Small, but nice collection of trade paperbacks and older issues and older comic magazines.

I called them on the phone asking if they had Star Wars comics, and the guy who answered was very rude. It started off with me asking if this is Chops Comics and he was like This is; that is what I just said. I then asked to see if they had Star Wars comics and I asked if they had Legends comics and Canon comics and he was just like your going to have to come into the store and see. He didnt even seem to care about my questions and never really answered them besides saying yes they have Star Wars comics. So, so far I have a very nasty impression of there comic book store. I would rather go to Gamenut because when I called them up they answered my questions and were kind the whole time on the phone. They were also kind in person. I have never been to Chops Comics and I dont know if I want to now because of how I was treated on the phone.

This is one of my favorite comic book stores to visit because the staff is friendly, they have a very good selection of current stock and back issues, and even are fair with pricing. I love to look at the glamorous wall comic books because the owner always has new stuff coming in that could make every collector jealous. The normal hours are very adequate for a small business but during these trying times that has somewhat changed.I am not going to take off any points from the google rating. But, I would recommend calling and to see if they are open before driving to the store. Currently, I believe they are open to sell new comics on Tuesday or Wednesday, and then, the store is open on Friday and Saturday. Maybe. Ive been wanting to go and shop at the store and have found it difficult to coordinate a good time.

Great comic book store. In all honesty I think this one is my favorite in Northeast Kansas. They have a ton of back issues, dont let the size of the store fool you, they have tons of back issues to choose from. They also have a pretty good selection of key issues behind the counter. The owner is really nice and down to earth. He is really helpful but is not pushy and lets you feel welcomed to just look around. I highly, highly recommend this store for your comic book needs!

This place is an absolute gem of a shop! If youre in the area, you have to stop by! The store is clean, organized, & full of awesome stuff that I like! Tons of back issues, new books, and a terrific selection of wall books too! I definitely will be back soon! Keep up the great work!

New little shop. I started a pull list here and have been very pleased. The shop is kid friendly and they bag and board pull list! The bag and board is a must for me. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, goes out of their way to help order books you want, and they read a lot of the stock too so they can make recommendations. There is a bit of the smaller indie titles, but they will order any new title they want. They have some back issues too, maybe 30 long boxes. My new fave shop.

Great place Todd and Jason are always friendly and helpful. They have loads of keys from all comic ages. All the issues are priced very reasonably. If they don’t have something your looking for regarding current titles they will try their best to get it in.

I love this shop. They have some great key issues and a decent selection of Gunpla models (if youre into that). Their prices are pretty reasonable and the staff is always very friendly and knowledgeable.An added bonus is not having to step over MTG players to get to your comics.

More Comic Stores are always good.More good Comic stores are even better.They seem to either be constantly buying or at the very least constantly rotating their blackstock. I definitely see something that I have never seen there before each time I go in.They have a very full selection of new and shelf issues and their recent back issues (excepting key or event or otherwise noteworthy issues which is COMPLETELY FAIR) can often be found for below book, or below cover.They have a sizable back stock which continues to grow.The only thing I would like to see changed is their location, and I hope.that if it ever became an issue they would be able to relocate.I remember being concerned when they first opened that the construction along Kasold might derail them, it appears that is not the case.

Went to Chops Comics today for the first time and let me tell you, this is the only comic shop I will ever go to from here on out. The owner Jason is one cool dude and super friendly. Clean shop, friendly service and the selection is amazing! Keys, slabs, old stock, new books, variants and more! Worth the drive no matter where in Kansas you live! Check out their FB page too! Small shop in a small town but has a shocking selection of independent, non-big 2 titles. I would definitely support this shop if i were local.

A wonderful shop that carries a large selection of new comics and back issues from the Silver Age to today. Always great finds in the new arrivals bin. Funko Pops and comic-themed puzzles and toys for the kids. The Wall of Firsts that Jason and Todd have built behind the counter is packed with key issues and first appearances of major characters, most in very nice condition. My favorite part of this shop, though, is the abundance of old Treasury Editions and comic magazines. I rarely see these at comic shops but Chops has plenty - fascinating stuff to dig through. The guys that run the place are cool and eager to help you find what yourre looking for. Lawrence really needed a shop like this, definitely worth a visit.

If you like comics then this is the place for you!! They have tons of great books and if there is something you need that they do not have in stock they will try their hardest to get it for you .
