The Lawrence store has a great selection and even better Sales team. John took the time to understand what I was looking for and then was able to find the perfect bike for me. He explained some of the key features and how that would benefit what I was looking to do. John was also able to get it setup and delivered to me that night. He went above and beyond! I have never owned a high quality bike like a Trek before and wish that I would have made the jump long ago.

Christian was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. I really liked how they have a device to fit you for the right size bike. Would recommend anyone to work with him. First tune up is free! Customer service is excellent and I never felt pressured to purchase anything. I ended up purchasing the Marlin 6 and love it. Christian helped me with appropriate accessories and made sure the bike seat was at correct height.

This Trek store is great. Although I originally bought my bike at another KC metro Trek store the Lawrence store is my new home for all my Trek needs. I will post some pics next time I visit the store.

I appreciate that when talking to me that they remembered my name. This store has been a great addition to the Lawrence cycling community. Christian was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about all aspects of the bike. Garret is the biggest reason why I chose to purchase my bike from this store. I followed him from my previous bike shop. In my opinion, having a store manager who’s roots are anchored in A comprehensive understanding of cycle mechanics and bike fit builds an unshakable foundation for customer loyalty. Given the investment I made this week - it’s been nice to have a store that will go to all lengths to get the right product and fit for your needs. I’ve enjoyed seeing the evolution of this store since opening and the vision Garret shared regarding future post-Covid community outreach is very exciting to me.

Called the store to put a tire on hold. Made arrangements to stop in while on a cross-country road trip road trip. Very clean, very professional looking shop. Was asked if I wanted it put directly on the rim. YES PLEASE! In and out in less than 15 minutes. I can’t thank you enough! Side note- I really liked your ride wall with the various ride options locally for gravel, road and MTB. Very nice touch.

John (Flynn I believe) was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. I went into Trek Lawrence to buy my first ever road bike, and was pretty anxious about the entire process. But thankfully I had John to help me through the entire process, it was incredibly easy and before I knew it I had bought the bike I had gone to Lawrence to buy. Everyone in the store was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The store was incredibly clean, they took all the necessary covid-19 precautions. I will definitely stop by the next time I’m in Lawrence.

Had a great experience. Only place in town that had any kids size bikes IN STOCK. They also have a great trade-in deal within the first 3 years.

Garett was great. I was greeted at the door by the staff and we had already spoke on the phone days prior about a rail 7 & Powerfly FS-9...he had them both ready and answered all my questions. Garett was knowledgeable and super fast with everything! Definitely exceeded all my expectations. I drove 248 miles approximately from Rolla, Mo and it was so worth it. Garett is truly passionate about what he does. All staff and atmosphere was amazing.

This shop is a lifesaver. Employees are knowledgeable, professional, dependable, upfront, and honest. We took our gravel road bikes to them and they got everything cleaned and replaced perfectly. We also bought a car rack and they helped properly install it. Making this shop our go-to shop.

Easily the best bike shop in Lawrence. I don’t even own a trek, but their stock of small parts and skilled, up to date mechanics are far better than any shop in town. Even if you don’t want to go to a big corporate store, you’ll be sacrificing quality by going anywhere else

Took my old (but beloved) 6700 to Trek Bicycle of Lawrence. It had been hanging on my garage pegs for too long. They could have sold me a new bike, but insisted my bike was worth fixing. Am glad I listened. Bike looks/works like new. (new brakes, chain, gears, pedals & tires). 30 day guarantee on all of the work. Even replaced the little things (like batteries in lights/accessories). Did this all contact-free during COVID-19. Thanks so much!

Great new customer experience - the courteous and knowledgeable staff (Garrett and Liz) took my 15+ year old Trek 4500 and turned back the hands of time. I gave them ‘old and crusty’ and they gave me ‘bright and shiny’ back. The repairs involved replacing shifters, rear cassette, new chain, tune up, clean up - now it’s smooth as glass! Great 1 day turn around and their customer communication was excellent. They may be new to town but they know what their doing. Spread the word...they deliver on their promises.

My wife and I bought a couple bikes a couple of months go and love them. This trek store has amazing customer service and wonderful advise. They have great inventory and if they don’t have it will get it for you.

As someone brand new to the whole bicycling experience, I approached my interaction with Trek with a little bit of apprehension. I have had a few very distasteful experiences with other bike shops in Lawrence, and was not sure what to expect. I was welcomed enthusiastically the moment I walked in the door, was well prepped and instructed on their social distancing measures, and settled in with Christian Beer to discuss what I was doing there. I walked out with a brand new bicycle and essential accessories less than an hour later, happy and super stoked to take my first ride.Kudos to Christian for his completely relatable approach to my experience, and probably most importantly, his understanding of WHY I was there. It just happened to be the biggest part of what I hoped for in a bike.Ill make sure I get back for maintenance and any other needs I have moving forward. Great customer service can be hard to come by apparently, but Im extremely happy with my choice.

Took two of my bikes in for level 3 and level 2 service over the winter and both came back fantastic! The level 3 service returned my 6-year old Cervelo S3 road bike back like it was new off the showroom floor! Nicely equipped store with knowledgeable staff. Service was outstanding with 24 hours or less repairs and prompt notification. My last Trek was purchased in 1992 and since have purchased other brands. Visited the store and starting to learn about Trek again, their business model and their technology. Very impressed with today’s Trek and will be purchasing a Trek very soon.

I whish I could give them 6 stars because John and his team are great. I love the Checkpoint ALR 4 gravel bike that I bought from them. I was hands down the best experience of buying a bike that I have ever had.

I am a 30 year Trek fan and got nothing but top notch service from Sunflower and more recently Capps in Topeka when Sunflower quit selling Trek. Yes, the sales staff of Trek are nice, but you have to do more. I’ve been to this store 4 times. Twice to pickup an online order which worked fine. Once for service which failed to solve a simple shifting issue. More recently I came in looking for a wheel set. The first person had no idea if they sold the product and the second jumped in to sell me something else. I appreciate the time they took to look up my item that they could not get until late cycling season. What really killed the deal was the salesman. A pretty lady caught his eye and that was the end of any attention to me. Thanks, internet, for the wheel set I wanted, and now I’m back to Capps and Sunflower for my biking needs.
