Would give 100 stars if I could. First time here, purchased online and showed up a few days later for my appointment. Took maybe 30 minutes. Walked over to a different store to kill time. Whoever checked me in and took a look at my car was so kind and friendly. Very personable. Glad to do business here.

Ive purchased tires here for years. Quality tires and excellent customer service. My last encounter I had a leaking valve stem from my RV spare. They replaced it within 10 minutes and no charge. Highly recommend this location.

I have probably never been so impressed by a business as I am with this one! The first gentleman that met me outside was very professional very knowledgeable and he put me at ease within a few seconds of me meeting him. He looked over my tires knew exactly what I was looking at he walked me inside and he showed me the recommended tire based on my needs and my driving habits, and it was exactly within my price range again they were very knowledgeable very professional very nice and very courteous they got the job done in about 30 minutes exactly like they said they would. This is how youre supposed to do business!!

This team is amazing! My family always gets friendly, helpful and honest service here. We have 7 vehicles among us and we have come in with flats from nails, screws and a damaged rim. Carl and his crew at the Lawrence, KS location are amazing. We had a flat in a barrowed car. The spare didnt fit and we didnt have enough money for a new tire. Carl was such a life saver. He put a new tire on our barrowed car for no charge. I will search out the nearest Discount Tire location to me the next time I go shopping for tires. Service like that deserves my business even if I have to go out of my local county to get it.

With a phone call and a drop in I was able to work with a manager who diagnosed what my problems were. I felt I could really trust that team, and I left with a lot of information with which to make a decision. Theres really not much of a decision to make.. well be back as soon as we can schedule it!

These have to be the single best group of guys I’ve had the pleasure of interacting with. The entire staff is very friendly and attentive to customers and they really do a great job. They are very knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions to make sure you have all the information necessary to make the right decision on tires for your vehicle.Their technicians made quick work of my tire swap and even though I arrived early to my appointment they were still able to start on the vehicle when I arrived.Very pleased with the work they did and will use/recommend them in the future.

Discount tire has always gotten me the tires i wanted and matched my price when i can find it cheaper. Ive bought tires for sports cars, commuter cars and offroad vehicles and they have always been able to get me the right one for my vehicle. I had recently considered trying to get a set from somewhere else for a little cheaper but the discount tire warrenty has saved me on several tires that had un repairable punctures. If you are willing to pay a little extra upfront this place will get you exactly what you need and take care of you in the long run. Discount tire is now my permanent go to tire store in Lawrence.

I made an appointment online. Check-in was quick and the actual work was done in less than 45 minutes. I was particularly pleased with their customer service and thoroughness. I only requested a tire inspection which they did, but they also patched a puncture that they found in one of my tires. Overall, very happy with the quality of service at this location and Discount Tire in general.

Scheduled an appointment, arrived and was told they only had 2 that were there..... having to come back tomorrow for the other 2. Please don’t waste my TIME when I actually make it in the shop for my SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT. Now I am having to reschedule appointments in my personal schedule.Tip: keep up with inventory or physically CHECK when customers inquire for a special tire. Not rely on the system.

My daughter came here yesterday for help on patching her tire and the hole was too big to patch, but hey provided many recommendations and helped her out a lot. She said their customer service was excellent and they did not try to take advantage of her by making more money off of her. Will definitely recommend this place to everyone i know.

Okay, so...we were sitting in the garage in our car while they checked the tire for leaks, and one of the employees spat into the water where they immerse the tires. Ew, gross in normal times. How do we contact trace that super spreader?

Came from out of town, way from California visiting family. Notice my car was shaking so i came to the tire shop and ask them to check my tire. They said sure. Then the manager came out and said they couldnt check it because it was not spec for the vehicle. So I had no choice to drive home with my car shaking. Then i went to my local shop in California. I told them to check my tire and this is what they found. Now you tell me was this ok? They literally put my life on the line and my family by not checking the tire. All they had to do was check the tire!! I could have used my spare.

Had a really weird tire wear issue that was likely tied to suspension elements. These folks threw on a used tire (I wasn’t going to buy a whole new set) and it worked out amazing. Didn’t charge me because discount is the best freaking place.Amazing customer service and a quick repair. This is why I’m loyal to Discount.Thanks folks!

We were travelling through Kansas from Texas to Minnesota, and one of our tires was about to blow. We called Discount and they were able to get us in immediately once we arrived and we got a great deal on tires. Staff was professional, quick, and very helpful. We were so grateful!

The absolute best experience! Shout out to Cody. We went to get our new tire that we’d had in reserve put on our rim and have it mounted on our RV. We’d had a blow out on our RV while traveling through Iowa and needed to get our spare off and the other tire put on. I’ve been using various Discount Tire locations over the last several years because they are all great to work with, but the Lawrence store is just icing on the cake! I was in the other day to replace my old tire, and I was lucky enough to work with the store manager. I explained that I only needed to buy one new tire (I replace two at a time) because the other had a blow out and that I always get the road hazard warranty, but I wasn’t anywhere close to a Discount Tire to get it fixed, so I ended up buying one from Walmart. Without me even asking, the manager told me they would go ahead and credit me the amount of that tire I had bought from Walmart, and let me put the road hazard warranty on it. I’ll keep going back to that specific store just because he was so awesome!

Needed 4 new tires for my Toyota 4runner. They price matched and BEAT the online price by 5 dollars. They accidentally broke my center cap and didnt need to replace it since it was 13 years old, but replaced it anyways. Will definitely go back!

Quick service, friendly people, and prices are great. The associates may try to push you towards buying the warranty/other stuff, so if you are set on not buying it, just be adamant. The optional warranty is excellent. I did purchase the certificate/warranty for the entire set of my tires since they were a bit expensive.Update: theres no other place Id recommend to buy a set of tires. You can get the cheapest prices here, get free balancing/rotations, and they do free patch work if your tire is leaking (even if you didnt buy it there). Highly recommend.

Even with this extra effort, its still sometimes takes a long time to get your tires replaced. my strong suggestion is to make an appointment ahead of time to make this wait as short as possible

I had a tire with a screw in it. I went to a competitor first and said they couldnt patch it since it was too close to the side wall. I came here and they were able to plug it free of charge! I definitely will come back here to buy tires when the time comes!Also the staff I interacted with were very friendly and felt trustworthy.

Absolutely the best car service Ive ever had. went in for a flat tire right before closing and not only did they help out without batting an eye, they ended up doing a lot of service for completely free. an elderly gentleman came in 15 minutes after closing and they helped him with no fuss too. the best. Ill definitely be going back when I need new tires. I usually push to support local businesses, but this is a stand out for a national chain.

So I had to return less than 24 hours after getting a new tire. It was flat. They took 45 minutes to look it over and determine it might have been a faulty valve stem they replaced. When I told them I had lost work time over this all I got was sorry. Any other retailer would have made it right monetarily. If the price is too good to be true be ware.

I had just gotten settled when a tech came to tell me my Jeep was done. I paid and then sat there to finish my work, because the shop was so much faster than I had anticipated.
