After being a American hat Co customer for years. I can tell you after finding David I’ll never buy another hat.His detail to just explaining the process of hat making its self. Is single handed the best selling point. You know what and how you’re gonna get what you buy.Everything is perfect and if somethings wrong he will fix it. Going from a factory to a custom made hat is night and day. I don’t consider myself a fancy person. However I’m about as fancy as that Reba song now ole son.I just made another order for a beaver in whiskey yesterday. His hats are made to last forever but you can’t ever have to many! One day hopefully my sons will rock them!Ole girl in the shop does hat binding and a fantastic job. I had them add bound edging to a hat of mine. Lines were as straight as they come.

Let me just say they are great! Customer service is excellent! They do try to make sure you are completely satisfied with your interaction with them. Great quality hats at an AMAZING price. If you are looking for a new hat they have plenty of styles and they can even do custom orders. If you are looking for a hat dont pass them by!

Great handmade hat shop, only a 10-15 minute drive from the LasVegas strip. Hats of all types (cowboy styles, gamblers, derbies, top hats, fedoras, etc) and compositions (100% rabbit, 100% beaver, or various blends), handmade by craftsmen using traditional methods.No shortcuts here. You may pay a bit more, but youre getting an 18hr a day, 7 day a week hat.Highly recommended!

Good work at a good price!

My Dad raises Arabians and I wanted to get him a real quality hat. A friend recommended to check out this place. I have to say, I am SO glad I did! The hatters name is David Johnson and hes amazingly! I was given a full tour and they were incredibly kind and professional. David uses beaver felt and hand makes everything with this crazy looking equipment from like the 1800s. I was instantly sold! If you need a proper hat, you need to go here. Also when you go, ask to see their picture book, its impressive. Theyve made hats for celebrities and are friends with the Roy Rogers family. I guess David is the only person licensed by Roy to make his style hat. All in all, I was beyond impressed and wish I could give them 10 stars!

What a great experience! Looking at hats and as this is a custom hat maker it made it quite educational and fun. The owner was very generous with his time, giving us a tour and walk thru the hat making process.I was so impressed I want one of my own!!!

Stopped by to see what they had in stock in my size. They took the time to custom finish me a hat while I waited. Really enjoyed learning about the hat making process from David. Great looking high quality hats. I will repeat when Im back in town.

This is a response to M S. The parking lot is posted as private property. We own the building and have to maintain the parking lot. Our parking lot fills with so many soccer people, our customers cant park. The soccer crowd leaves their trash, dirty diapers, and alcohol bottles in our lot. Respect for other peoples property is in order here.

Please get better employees - older blonde woman is extremely rude. My son has been playing soccer across the street for years and I have always parked in the lot across from the facility. I parked my car and she asked me to move because it is private property. I didnt say one word, smiled, and moved my car on the other side of the parking lot. Mind you.. it is a Sunday evening (most businesses are closed, and there are hardly any cars in the parking lot, there are no signs that indicate that parking was not allowed). She watches me, waits for me to get out of my vehicle to yell its just as easy to get your car towed from over there. Maybe the business isnt doing well, and she has nothing better to do than watch people from the window to yell. Either way, she reflects terribly on the business which is unfortunate. I will never purchase from this business - if your employees are rude and Im not even inside your facility, I cant imagine what type of customer service I would get if I was a consumer.
