The cashiers are frequently attentive and fast. Its the overpriced items like Mac & cheese in a box for $5.99 and so forth. And the box was expired - as that was not my first time buying an expired item. Customer has always been fair. Just got understand the marked up prices on a variety of items sold at Cardenas. Im over it. Ill only ship there for cases of water.

Very very clean store from the front to the back , great open floor plan for shopping , fresh baked Mexican breads that smell and taste great , Tamales are fresh as well . Great prices on all your needs

I went here for the first time the other day and wow what a store. This place is a 5 star well worth it market. I was in here for an hour there was so much to see and buy. I live 2 miles away and so happy I finally came here to shop. I got so many goodies and after went home to make a nice mexican dish. Thanks so much for all you do! It shows! A+++++

Excellent prices on vegetables and fruit, the store is always clean and the employees are always ready to help. There is also a prepared food area and you can choose to eat it there or take it home. Food service is a little slow, but the food is good and at reasonable prices.

Very clean store. Produce is always cheap here and I prefer it over Smiths and Albertsons. Tthey did not have Yukon gold or red potatoes . I assume they only get products that are a good deal. I happy with what was available especially for the price.Clean not over crowded. Friendly staff. Send checkout would be nice to see eventually

We love this place and would always make a stop here while visiting Vegas but now our son lives .25 miles from one, we are in heaven!! He comes often and we now visit every month!! Clean grocery store with so many extras!! We love the food!!! Tamales, tacos and pineapple drink...yummy!

Its disappointing and disgusting that this location has just barely open and has all this code violations right off the bat. Some of the drink coolers were leaking water onto the floor, not even a floor sign was in sight just some paper towels to hold back the water when it clearly wasnt doing his job. Not to mention that meat coolers were leaking blood onto the floor which is disgusting. A random poll was on the floor in the middle of the walk way were anyone could slip on. Not to mention there was a trash can with bugs flying around it right next to the produce. For being a new store on utterly disgusted with this establishment.

Great store, nice folks. The family platter, from their kitchen is fantastic. Rice, beans, meat of your choice, salsa, and small corn tortillas, to feed up to 4 for $15. Try it, youll like it

I got some great tasting tangerines that I didnt find at any other markets. And I noticed the paper towels are cheaper than the dollar store!Last night I tried a homemade Mexican chicken stew. I havent had home cooking like that for years and years. What a wonderful surprise!Of course Ill be going to this market again!

The people selling hot food are terrible!

Produce is cheap and plentiful. Today was taco Tuesday? Ordered 4 tacos...not enough meat on them and they are small to begin with. Asked for red salsa container..no salsa! Disappointing.

As always, the cleanliness and friendly staff makes going into this supermarket enjoyable. The variety of fresh produce is great. The meat department staff is very helpful in trying to get you the best cut of meat. The cafe inside the supermarket is great, in that you can take a break from your grocery shopping and have a very fresh meal while there.

This store is my favor one although is another locations near my home I prefer this one I can find everything that I need..but the mean reason is the Mexican bread...the flavor of the bread 🥰...the meat is cheaper and fresh

An excellent place for all the usual stuff and unusual food. Very clean extremely helpful and friendly. Amazing lunch and delicatessen counter and lots of ready to eat or to go choices. Very nice produce and bargains on chicken and fresh seafood.

First time going and I love the store. They had great quality and cleanliness throughout the whole store. What usually cost 60-70 dollars at other stores only came out to 35 and change. Definitely returning here for most if not all my shopping. Excellent job Cardenas!

Store is well stocked. As someone who loves to cook traditional Mexican dishes, I love that they have a good selection of fresh herbs. Great variety of Mexican/Latin American products. The house-made tortillas and the bolillo are the best in Vegas.

This is the best store for produce, meat, and bakery. Their chicken deals on Wed and Thursday can’t be beat.

Prices are a little bit iffy, in all honesty, but they make up for that in quality, because all of their products here are absolutely AMAZING. I especially love their desserts, like cake, tiramisu, and flan. 🤤 Their tres leches cakes are especially exquisite.

Clean and welcoming. Vegetables were arranged so inviting and all of them were fresh and stocked. Cashier was friendly and asked me to visit again. Parking lot was orderly and baskets were plentiful. I cannot say enough about this store. I will definitely be back and tell others. Cant wait to go back. Thats how much I love this store.

I purchase some bread in the bakery from this location and my kids wanted to eat some on the way home when my mom opened the bag.. A big cockroach was crawling from the bag... I pull over and threw the bag out of the car.. I was not going to feed that my one year old and seven year.. I have never experienced that in my life especially when they have to keep it clean and sanitized because of the stuff that is going on in the world.. never will I go visit that place..

The staff here is not yelling in Spanish to one another loudly, and they also respect you for not knowing Spanish. They dont make you feel out of place and are very helpful. Its also a clean store.

Just moved to the area and its obvious to see that Cardenas is the best option for miles. Everything is clean and fresh, Ive yet to have a negative experience. The only area lacking is the deli, but their carneceria makes up for it.

My shopping experience today was very unfavorable. I was followed throughout the store by store employees as if I were there to steal something. I went to the store to buy groceries to feed my family. At the hot food section the woman behind the counter helped everyone before and after me of Hispanic decent. I waited patiently and the gentleman saw me standing there for quite awhile and offered to assist me. When he brought my food to the same woman she threw my food in a bag then slammed it on the counter before handing it to me. I quickly continued my shopping but I wont be coming back to this location. I work hard to feed my family and sad to say that this establishment has a group of workers who arent welcoming of people that are not of the Hispanic community. Sad because I heard great things about the store and was excited to finally check it out. We dont have many options in the area for quality food. I love Mexican cuisine and the other stores dont carry the items that I need.

My daughter and I went into Cardenas for dinner and a shrimp cocktail as we do frequently. The food is always good. We were quite full and didnt have room for the shrimp cocktail so we took it with us. Meanwhile I went to the produce department, them to the beverage area and to the cashier. She was very rude, but I understand that people are going through different situations due to the pandemic. So we continued to be kind of to her. She talked to us rudely and accuse us of no paying for the shrimp cocktail. So she became very indignant and called the young man who works in the back of the kitchen and he agreed with the cashier saying that we had not paid. The young man had no physical or visual contact with us there for disqualifying him from knowing if we had paid or not. The lady who had rang up our food didnt give me a receipt. But the cashier insisted that I hadnt paid and that it was my responsibility to have proof of payment. Finally the kind lady that cashed us out confirmed that I had paid. There should be special training for people like the cashier as she was deliberately mean for no reason. She needs to go back to grade school and learn her manners.

OMG! Like dying and going to Mexican Grocery Store heaven! Fresh vegetables, fruits, Baked goods, fresh made tortillas! The deli is great selection of tacos, burritos and they have breakfast menus. Sit down or carry out!

Went to food court around noon, our experience was not so great. Only 1 lady atendiendo the counter, and there were people standing waiting with nobody acknowledging them. the Gordita lady was not too friendly she looked overwhelmed underpaid and when asked if any hot sauces available fir the food we ordered she said she had to ask someone in the back no salt or anything. Service sucked. Will not be back again

How did the chicken special, eight pieces for five bucks. It was absolutely superb.

Workers are rude and show favoritism. We had been waiting for over 30 minutes for our food and the worker chose to serve someone who just arrived. It was the same thing everyone else was ordering yet she got helped first. Worker then proceeded to be rude to us

The cooked food was horrible. I waited 35 minutes in line just to be told that no more beef or chicken is ready, also the rice was very hard almost cracked my tooth.never going back. Last but not least no one that speaks English.

Its a really nice grocery store, brand new with the paint still drying. The staff is friendly and eager to please. The selection seems on par with most grocery stores with some extra delicacies. They have a wide assortment of cooked food ready to eat and a section where they make tortillas by hand.

I drove by and stopped and was very impressed by everything. The dry beans selection of four kinds and they were fresh too! They also had my favorite bean labeled (ojo de vendor) . You cannot find anywhere in Las Vegas

American food is double in prices. Meat selection isnt anything to brag about. Produce dept is twice the size of any market and good prices. But fresh made tortillas, oh so good.
