Good work, bad customer service.Had a a lot of respect for the techs who did the work, but don’t trust the company’s warranty.Guy came out and did a solid job replacing the door a few months back.Come out a couple days ago attempt to close my door and it basically falls off the rails... the cables are completely off the gear.Guy asks me not to touch it and it will be a few days before someone can get there (was on a weekend).Since I didn’t want my stuff stolen for two days, i unhooked the messed up wire to let it down.I was informed my warranty was voided and I had to pay full price for the fix, Called the company and got blasted with anger and hate. When I came back into my garage the tech informed me he would have to charge an additional 80% of the price because of the long winded call that just transpired.Bright side is, since I don’t have a warranty I have no reason to call a angry self insulting individual again.

Pioneer was sent by my home warranty company (CHW) to arrive between 11-3:00. Got a call from Desiree a little before 11:00 that they would arrive soon, and just a few minutes after 11:00, the techs arrived. Diagnosed the problem quickly, solved it and an unknown but related issue quickly, and were professional and friendly throughout.Sometimes repair techs/companies sent by CHW are surly or seem to want to hurry. That was absolutely not the case with Pioneer. I’d recommend them to others and will definitely use them again if needed.

I called on two separate occasions to ask if our part had arrived. The first time the receptionist told me “I think we have the part but I don’t know where it is. I’ll have them call you before the day is over” and then they never called back. A WEEK later I called to check on it again and she told me that the part wasnt here originally and that it must’ve been a mistake that they said it was here. She then proceeded to say it was now here and then scheduled a time to come out and have it fixed. The day it was supposed to be fixed (Thursday) they never called and never showed. I waited until Monday to call and see what was going on and the receptionist told me they didn’t have the part, so it must’ve been a mistake.... again. I proceeded to ask for a manager and when I asked him why they didn’t call even though I took time off of work and lost out on money he didn’t have anything to say.

My home warranty company sent this company out to do a repair. I was told by the technician that my warranty company was willing to pay for the labor although they usually only cover the garage door opener. At the time the tech service the door he charged me a higher price. I noticed the price difference when I received a receipt from their office. I called to rectify the issue and the office personnel said I was lying and spoke over me when I tried to inform him of my concern. The technician was professional and did a great job. However, if something was to ever go wrong and needing to contact them since my repair is under a warranty, that maybe a dreadful day.In response to the companys comment:My 1 star review is a rating reflecting my experience with Pioneer as one of their customers when a problem arises . I understand I agreed to the amount as I was under the impression that CHW was paying for the labor. The situation escalated when I was accused of conspiring to receive a refund for the labor. There is no need for the gentleman that serviced my garage to contact me as Im addressing the issue with CHW. Thank you for hearing my concern.

What a great company to work with!! I called them 3 years ago with a garage door issue and called again yesterday for another issue. Wouldnt consider anyone else. Great customer service - from the time they answer your call to the time they complete the work.

When my garage door collapsed I called Ron at Pioneer Overhead Door. He personally guided me through the website to pick out the perfect replacement. His recomendation of the Amarr Classica 3000 Santiago was perfect. We made the deal and within 2 weeks he had a crew onsite to replace the doors. I can not say enough about Rons professionalism, and his price was the best in Las Vegas. Brandon and Joe, the installers, were an awesome crew. They jumped right in and had the both doors up in just a few hours. Their attention to detail and constant communication with me made this very satisfactory experience. Horrible Customer Service! Company was Scheduler by my home warranty to fix my garage between the hours of 11AM-3PM. Called them 30 mina before 3 to check and was told by them that the tech will arrive in 30 mins. Called again past 3 pm because they hadnt arrived yet, and was Rudely answered by the operator to just cancel if I couldn’t wait anymore. I waited over 4 hours already.... ended up canceling! Wasted my time!

Garage door springs dont break that often, but when they do, you need it fixed as soon as possible.Looking for a place to start, I used the telephone number located on the garage door to contact someone who I thought could help. Unfortunately this turned out to be a bad first step. Please know that I threw out the first 2 companies that came out to look at the repair. Why? Because it became apparent in the first minute that money was all that mattered to them. I had quotes for 2x and 3x a reasonable price for changing 2 springs. This was absolutely ridiculous.By mere luck, I started searching the listings once again and found Pioneer Door. After talking with Ron Nelson for almost 10 minutes, it was clear that I had found a trusted professional who would come out and repair the door for a reasonable price. It turns out that Rons crew was completely booked for the weekend, forcing me to wait until Monday (Eastern Orthodox Christmas) to get on their schedule.On Monday, just as we had discussed, Pioneer showed up to repair the door. In approximately 35 minutes, David had changed the springs, checked the rollers and adjusted the tension on the door opener. Thats exactly what I was looking for and the quoted estimate was spot on.So while this might sound like a commercial, the next time I need this type of service, I will look to save time and aggravation by calling Pioneer first.Thank you Ron.Michael

Choice Home Warranty had sent a tech from this company to help me with my garage opener issue. Desiree at the office was very pleasant and courteous. However, the technician Ron was very condescending, unfriendly, abrasive and abrupt. Although he did fix the problem but when I tried to ask him more questions, he just cut me off and kept asking for the $60 service fee. He has no customer service skills at all.

Had an issue-on a holiday none the less, called they answered and with-in 2 hours they were at my door, got the job done at a good price, professional, friendly and will be my first call for any future work and i would recommend them to everyone needing garage door work or install. Saved me in a pinch very happy with the service. Now on to enjoy the 4th of July.

Home warranty company sent them to check garage door, work was not cover by home warranty so Id ok the job to be completed and paid for by me. tech did not have all parts to complete the job so he re scheduled, company would not send a tech back same day, till next between 8-12 that time came and went no call from office to update, we had to call several times and assured tech would be in, ten minutes before closing we get a call stating tech forgot parts, and it had to be re scheduled again. Two days of work lost waiting. Poor customer service.

I just had Pioneer Overhead Door over to fix my sick, lame and lazy Garage Door. Desiree the lady I spoke with on the phone was very pleasant and she even remembered my appointment time from a week ago. Brandon was the Technician and he was spot on. He came and diagnosed the problem in seconds and had my Garage door operating better than it ever has. It works with the sun beaming into the garage and I never saw that in my 9 years in this house. I am delighted with this company and will be glad to do the commercial. I retired from the United States Marine Corps and I savor experts doing an perfect job quickly. I received prompt, detail service. Brandon was the guy who came out to address the problem with my garage door. He was courteous and very thorough! He took the time to access the situation I was having with the door and promptly fixed it! I would highly recommend him!

This company has the WORST customer service and sadly it starts with the owner, Ron. Besides the fact that they do not show up between their scheduled estimated time windows, they do not give the courtesy of calling to let you know they will be running late. After I had to call them (an hour after my 4 hour time window was up) they contacted the technician and I was told they would be at my home in about 45 minutes. So after I make arrangements to leave work (taking time away from my hourly pay) no one still shows up. An hour and half later I contact them again and the owner, who is EXTREMELY rude and unprofessional tells me hes going to conference call his receptionist because I clearly misunderstood her. After basically being told I was lying because his receptionist would never give a timeframe, he then proceeds to rudely ask what line of work Im in and what company I work for. Im sorry but how is that relevant to this service call?! I would highly suggest anyone considering using them to heed this warning and run away from them. The fact that the owner was as rude as he was...Im still disgusted and shocked. Its worth paying extra to get better service somewhere else. And if your warranty company sends them out, I would call them too and request another company. This one is just awful. And a word to Ron....as the owner, you need to take classes on handling customers. The professional reaction shouldnt have been lets conference my receptionist but maybe something like let me check into this and call you back. But really, a 3way with your receptionist?! And then to ask what company I work for. You need to leave the people skills to someone else.

Our garage door came off the track and lost tension in the springs. Called to get estimate from another company (Precision) who was way overpriced at $600 to change things not broken. Called Pioneer they sent over Robert and he showed me that nothing was broken and we just need some tightening up of the springs and to reinstall the cables all for only $75 amazing!! I highly recommend Pioneer to anybody needing garage repair. Thanks for you work Robert we are 100% satisfied and will be back when needed!!!

I had Pioneer Overhead Door come out to put in a new opener and I couldnt be more pleased with the work Robert the tech did. He was extremely professional, did exceptional work and had our garage in working order in no time. And this was after I had him put a new gasket on the door bottom, 2 x new springs (one had broken and left my car trapped inside the garage as I could not open the door), a new keypad on the outside, and a really super quiet, efficient LiftMaster w/ 2 x new clickers. The keypad on the inside wall was pretty nifty too as it displays the time and temperature digitally. Overall a terrific job by a wonderful company. I highly recommend this company if you need any sort of work done on your garage. Kudos to Robert and Ron for a job well done!Thank you from a VERY satisfied customer!

Outstanding! They open at 8am so I emailed them at 7:30 to see if I could be first to get my broken spring fixed and get my car out. They arrived at 8:10; replaced the spring; lubricated everything, adjusted whatever needed adjusting, made some suggestions and were done in no time. Very good (and was recommended to me by a real-estate person that uses them).

I have one word to describe Pioneer Overhead Door, “FANTASTIC”! While attempting to “Tune-Up” my garage door I managed to derail several rollers and almost ruined the whole door. When I called Pioneer they were professional and polite and made a Saturday appointment at no extra charge. First thing this morning I received a call from “Kenny” the Pioneer repair specialist. He confirmed the appointment and showed up right on time. In about 45 minutes not only did Kenny have my door back on the tracks and working smoothly he inspected all the parts, replaced two lag bolts that were loose and carefully oiled all the moving parts. Last but not least I was charged a very fair price and would recommend Pioneer Overhead Door to anyone needing any kind of garage door service.

I needed some parts on Black Friday. Ron stayed open long enough for me to run down and get the parts. Prices were fantastic. I will be buying all my garage door parts from them.

This company was booked by my warrantee provider...I was expecting someone to arrive between 11a and 3p. Not ideal, but acceptable.At 245p I called to find out how much longer the technician would be -- the woman who answered the phone could not find the appointment first then realized it hadnt been put on thier internal schedule.She did not apologize and told me to expect someone at 8a the next day. When I pointed out this was thier fault and they needed to do better to recruit the mistake, she bacame incredibly condescending and rude before ending the call.Swift Garage Doors is now on the way and will be giving me a free estimate.

They were very professional, courteous, and had my door up and running in less than 30 minutes! There was no hassling, no upselling, no hidden fees... They did give me a great recommendation for when I am ready to replace my outdated opener but no pressure to sell me on it now. I will FOR SURE be contacting Pioneer for all of my garage door needs!! Great service from the technician; but unfortunely I ended up talking to Ron about some of the charges on my credit card bill, after talking to him I know I won’t be calling back for more service; I haven’t had the opportunity to see his work and he probably does it extremely well but the verbal interactions should be reassigned to someone more tactful.

Pioneer Saved Us!Our 10-year old door opener died randomly and we were unable to easily come and go from our house. Who uses the front door anymore? We called on o Monday morning and had a new lift master installed the next day. It is quieter, smoother and much nicer than our old unit.The price was fair, the installation team was on time and very professional.No need to look anywhere else for any garage door needs. Woke up to a busted spring on the garage door. Found Pioneer in a google search. I called and they said it could be repaired today. Within an hour I not only had them there but it was repaired quickly and professionally. I want to give a shout out to Adam and Robert, the team who came out for observing the problem and getting right to the repair finishing in about fifteen minutes. I will definitely call these guys again for any repairs on my overhead doors. Works better than it did yesterday (before busted spring)

I would like to apologize to Ron and his technician. I was under the impression from Choice Warranty that everything was covered except for the sensors, etc. It did not say anything about the door not being covered. The second time I called Choice Warranty corrected themselves and told me that it was an error on their part, and even though the contract does not state that it does not cover the garage door, in fact, it does not cover the garage door. This was clearly a misunderstanding, and misinformation from Choice Warranty. I have contacted the previous garage door repair company who replaced my spring exactly one year ago, as even though the new problem may not come under the warranty, the labor will be covered under the warranty. Thank you for coming out.

My garage spring broke. Friends warned me of high cost and repairmen trying to sell more services. After calling 2 others, Ron was the only one to answer the phone on Sunday. Guys came on Monday at time quoted. Done in 30 minutes at very reasonable price quoted. Awesome.

In March of this year I had a new garage door installed by a competitor. Their ad stated they were an official vendor for Chamberlain, who makes Liftmaster. They charged me twice what it was worth and the remote never did work reliably. Of course, they were NOT an official vendor. I called Pioneer on Liftmasters recommendation. Am I glad I did! Very fair pricing, efficient and professional serviceman who cleaned up after himself, and a new quiet system that works great. I even ordered a new garage door, too. Couldnt be happier with the outcome and heartily recommend Pioneer Overhead Door.
