This is June 21 2021; our ADT security system has been disconnected for months now and no one’s even calling to say it there is no signal. This is an actual picture of the ADT system and it is not connected and my phone is not ringing????. It has been disconnected four times because of the battery that I had to replace, and nobody from ADT even called to say they were not receiving a signal, so what exactly are they monitoring in my opinion absolutely nothing, the only thing ADT is good at is sending us a $40 bill every month. We couldn’t wait for our contract to come to an end.

Technician, Dan, called upon arrival and was right on time. He was very professional and courteous. Dan was very respectful of our home. He wore his mask and footies. He explained what he would be doing and when he finished installing alarm system and doorbell camera plus 2 outdoor cameras he very patiently walked us through the system explaining its functions. He helped set up our iPhone to use with ADT. He answered all our questions which were many! Dan gave us a website to access for future questions and help. A very good experience with Dan and ADT. Paid a full year up front along with additional cameras in full as I did not want a contract and knew I’d be moving in one year. The service never worked. I upgraded with Cox cable as the tech said that was the issue. Still never worked. Called in to make sure my account was cancelled after one year and they said they’d put me on a 3 year contract and I’d have to pay for two more years plus an early cancellation. I kept the voicemails of all the times they called me because service wasn’t working. Never got resolved. I got sick and was fighting to survive the past 10 months. I’m out +$2k and for services that never worked and they STILL won’t fix it. This should not be allowed nor legal

Wayne was our service tech on Thursday, April 22nd. He was punctual, courteous and professional. He is clearly a subject matter expert and a customer service savant. He struck a nice balance between offering enough detailed instruction on the system without being patronizing. Wayne went above and beyond to make sure that we were taken care of, and it was by far the smoothest and most pleasurable service call; and one of the best customer service experiences I’ve been a part of.

Just had a service done on my existing alarm system. The gentleman Billy was a gentleman, great personality, actually a genuine caring guy! He answered all questions, fixed the issue at hand and was refreshing to be around in these troubled times. He is an asset to the company and a nice guy all around. He should be teaching a class on how to provide service , and how to interact with people.

Mike was AMAZING. This dude was WAYBETTER then all the other guys, I mean, i’ve had people from ADT and technicians come in they’re so aggressive and rude and they don’t even care they just wanna do it as fast as possible and get the job over with and get the job done, however this guy was so different. And that’s why I have to write up reviews because Mike was so different than all the others. I mean the only reason why I’m writing a review for ADT is because of that guy!! Thank you I appreciate your help Mike! If you see this review not sure who’s going to, but just give him a raise or something I mean, I’ve had tons of ADT techs, but he’s different so do something for him or something the dude deserves it pls, thank you!!

Ive been a customer for under a year and our system has been great. Our doorbell camera went out. So they sent Wayne as my technician and he went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of and my system was functioning properly. He was very nice and very knowledgeable about his job.

Wayne called me at 2:20 & said he was about 15 minutes away. He arrived precisely at 2:36 - great timing! He is a professional, knowledgeable Tech with a great attitude! I just needed a new battery for the keypad, but Wayne replaced EVERY single battery in the pad, all sensors, motion detector & remote! Talk about going above & beyond! I am very pleased & impressed! I recently had my system installed and ADT did a great job! Greg who did the installation was professional and knowledgable and I appreciate the time he took with me. He walked through my home and verified what needed to be monitored then got right to work. He left everything in great condition and cleaned up any of debris that made while installing. I have been a customer for adt for over 3 years and yesterday I began experiencing an issue with my adt garage door opener.I contacted ADT customer service and they promptly provided me a next day appointment. No questions asked, they simply advised me my plan covered all repairs with my system.My assigned technician was Wayne R.y experience began with Wayne reaching out to me 30 minutes prior to my appointment to let me know he was on his way. As he arrived he followed all protocols and wore gloves and mask.Shortly after beginning to troubleshoot my system Wayne quickly found the issue. He walked me through the cause, process and solution. He was very detailed, professional and knowledgeable.Overall I am truly happy with the service I received today.

Prior to the scheduled visit, I attempted to resolve the issue via a chat with a representative. When that didnt work, I called and spoke with an agent. She walked me thru a couple of attempts to reset my Gateway. When that didnt correct the problem, she scheduled a technician to make a service call. Brian corrected the problem, but in my opinion, the representative on the phone could have easily walked me thru the fix. It as a simple fix that had nothing to do with Gateway or Service Panel. As Brian was completing the work order receipt, he advised that I would be billed $25. I let him know that I did not appreciate not being advised by the phone rep that there would be a fee for the service call. I cant wait to be out of my contract (November 2021) so that I can cancel my relationship with ADT. It has been a bad experience since day 1.

Ive been a customer of ADT for over 20-years now. Before them, I was foolish enough to believe the promises and dreams of other lesser companies. This is not to try and say that ADT is without fault. As with any company, it does. The difference is, they tend to listen to what their customers say, and when they say, something is wrong, or needs to change, they actually change it. In my case, I upgraded my ADT Pulse service to the new Home Service with the touch pads. Of course doing this required me to replace/upgrade my existing cameras, and, there were other expenses.The other expenses came as a surprise, and I was upset. I expressed my displeasure to the Techs who were present (Flavors & Greg) and they immediately went to work intervening on my behalf with their supervisor. Problem resolved--and a full day of work ahead, both men worked tirelessly until the job was completed to standard. In fact, they exceeded the ADT standard, while generously exceeding my expectations. What more can I ask for? My system was upgraded, the cost of equipment was folded into the monthly, and my payment was $25 less than my previous monthly payment.Im a happy customer, and I intend to stay loyal to a company that recognizes and rewards that loyalty. You have a lot of choices these days when it comes to home security. So, do your due diligence, seek out testimonials vice corporate promises. As I said in the beginning, I made the mistake of using other security providers who promised to always be there, even promised armed guards--and when I actually needed them, all I received were excuses, and offers to upsell me more equipment for higher monthly fees, and longer contracts--if you read what I say about my 20-years with ADT above, youll see none of that occurred. I received the latest gear, a total house security upgrade and evaluation which included additional cameras, touch pads, and more--all for $25 less per month than I was paying.Unless ADT turns into a complete opposite of what I have experienced in the past 20-years, I will stay where I am.Thank you ADT, from DM

Service wise, ADT is pretty darn good. Speaking to a representative and dealing with pricing and billing is another story. Be prepared to pack a lunch as the wait times for phone or chat is extremely long. The folks at the service/install department should be running things as they are always on time and issues are efficiently solved. ADT has a-lot of internal issues.

If I could give a negative star I would. ADT is fine when you have it but when it’s over it’s like a bad break up. They will not let you go. I paid my last balance I’m August and it’s October and they are still sending me bills. Run for the hills this is worst than a stalker boyfriend! When you want to leave they will not allow you to leave and continue to make charges up and say you never canceled. I will NEVER recommend them to anyone and NEVER use them for any of my properties ever again!

I had the most incredible experience with Glenn Heimbuch. He truly went above and beyond especially understanding the importance of safety for my kiddos. I feel like he’s straight out of a commercial! He was so polite and checked everything for me to ensure everything was working properly avoiding any future calls. Mark Ward was the service person who came to our home this morning. The service he provided was excellent. He was able to identify an issue with our system that had not been previously addressed with the many other technicians who had been to our home for the same service. Worst Company Ever! Had a disconnection earlier this year and tech fixed it in 15 minutes. Now months later they want me to pay $375 when I WAS NEVER TOLD ANY COST FOR REPAIRS. I was also conned into $1500 for install when the location already had ADT from prior occupants. Further, the camera systems were not the same live cameras I had with them prior. They are only activated with motion detection and detect EVERY CAR that drives by so camera memory gets full fast. So then I have no cameras for 1/2 the month, but am being charged for service. The tech decided best places to install so HE made the choice to install camera on side yard, but again it records all cars driving by. When I called to complain the cameras memory are full they said its an extra fee to upgrade memory. EVERYTHING IS AN EXTRA FEE. DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY. And if you try to cancel you will go unanswered and have to follow up a million times. By the way they locked me into a 5 year contract that was past my lease term and had an employee sign the contract when NO-ONE but me was authorized to enter into a contract. They held me liable and then forced me to transfer service and then locked me into another 3 years. I rather have no security than deal with this disorganized, shady company.

I had the best sales rep ever!! Roxanne Gonzales went above and beyond what was needed. She always returned my calls in a timely manner. It is obvious she cares about her customers satisfaction. I have used her every time I have moved to a new location. Unfortunately, ADT keeps calling me and I have made it very clear that I will only deal with Roxanne. The only negative thing I can say is that the ADT call centers border on harassment. They need to let the sales reps deal with their own customers. I felt like they were trying to sway me away from using my sales rep. I happen to be a referral partner -- I do not appreciate their tactics. Otherwise - I have nothing but great things to say.

Last year I purchased a house that had ADT security already wired and decided to use their service. Joey Petersen and his team did an excellent job making sure that the system was up-to-date and operating correctly. I give Joey and his team 5 stars (he promptly returns calls when I have questions or needs). The lower 4 star rating reflects my belief that there are less expensive options available, especially if you are willing to self-monitor, and these alternatives do not lock you into a contract term.

I have had ADT for almost 2 years. No issues and just upgraded to some outside cameras after a package got stolen. Original instillation date was pretty far out and even further for something that worked for me. I was able to be put on a list for potential cancellations which meant it got done before a vacation (much better peace of mind). Paul was sent out and did a great job! Obvious experience and worked efficiently.

I accidentally pulled out the plug on my system and threw it away unknowingly. ADT Security Services sent technician Howard out who replaced the plug, showed me how to redo the batteries, etc. and other details that make it easier to work my system. He was also very careful carrying his ladder throughout the house, which doesn’t always happen with workmen or installers. He walked my wife through installing the app and was very patient with our questions. Great work overall!

They are great to deal with during sign up an installation but they are a nightmare after that. Repeated false alarms, alarms in the middle of the night when they turned off service to ‘work on their towers’, calls to the wrong people, etc. Not only am I a dissatisfied former customer but now am also being victimized by ADT’s deceptive sales practices. I successfully terminated my 3-year contract on it’s expiration in Dec 2019. About a week later, ADT called offering me discounted monitoring service. I said NO (so over dealing with ADT by then)! But now, three months later, I’m getting billed for the service I declined! I called and, guess what, they told me their form shows I accepted...really? Not just deceptive but fraudulent. I’m filing a complaint with the State Attorney General’s office.

Ive been an ADT customer for years and decided to upgrade my system. Luis came out to do the installation of my system and Im GLAD he did! Not only was he prompt, friendly and professional, but quite informative. Took the time to tell me everything he was doing and showed what changes he was making switching out the old box. He noticed my smoke detector was no longer installed and suggested I get one tied to my system...which I did. He helped me pick the perfect spot for coverage of the indoor camera. I absolutely love ADT. They are the only security system in Las Vegas that sends out armed guards to your home. They dont have any hidden fees. Their fine print is blown up so you can read it and cant ignore it. The people who came to my door were kind and well mannered. I didnt feel pressured. I did feel comfortable and because they made me feel more comfortable. I was more open to let them know my house. They helped me bring in my groceries which was amazing. Truly gentlemen. They dont charge extra for the guards to come out and they are linked directly to fire, and medical. They respond within 8-10 seconds. They are the only security moving towards cyber security. Meaning, they are encrypted so they cant be hacked like the ring door bell was. They have a lifetime warranty and free move service. They even upgrade your equipment for free when you move. You can have up to 250 devices inside your home all connected to zwave and they are compatible with Alexa. Your rate never goes up no matter how many devices. This was such a big deal to me because Cox rates blow up over time. So stressful! I can watch my kids when they are with a babysitter. I know they are safe. I can also turn my lights on, open my garage door, and heat my home when I am away from the home. I think smart homes are the new pink! Life is about working smarter not harder and ADT helps me be able to accomplish this. Thank you guys! Keep up the great work!!! Lol dont slam the door in their face...they arent like the other companies and even if monthly prices seem hight. U get a way better deal!!! 🥰

Just wanted to alert people that we just had a very poor experience with ADT in installing and removing our security system. The service was terrible with installation and then with removal they said they would be at our home between 9-3 and we begged for noon since we had plans on Friday at 3 pm. They finally showed up at 6:15 keeping our family hostage all day. We have decided to go with Mountain Alarm in St George, Utah and so far very pleased with them. Sometimes, bigger is not always better!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wonderful experience!Ive been an ADT customer for about 3 years now. We had an issue with our system having some trouble signals so we put in a work order ticket to come to our home to review. Techs Mike and Chase arrived today (they called ahead and let us know when they would arrive which was within the window they stated) and evaluated the problem. They were OUTSTANDING in their professionalism and acumen of the situation. They ensured we were 100% satisfied with the work performed and my wife and I were indeed happy with their service.
