The shop is awesome Great customer service friendly people. I forgot our bird food when we came out to visit Vegas and she happened to be down the road and the only store open at the time with the food that we need she also hooked our little bird up with a piece of an apple thank you so much

The lady working there was very rude. I wish I could give a better review, but the experience wasn’t enjoyable at all. Plus some of the birds looked sick. I will not be coming back. If you want business maybe you should be nicer.

Linda gave excellent customer service to my family and I as we were first time bird owners. We ended up leaving with two beautiful finches, I gave three stars because there was no notice that the birds had broken legs. One of the legs fell off an now my daughter wants nothing to do with them cause shes traumatized. If advise if you want to buy a bird make sure you spend some time observating its actions before taking it home as theres no return policy.

Great place to buy birds. They have a large amount of different types of birds. Overall liked the place customer service was okay though I would understand the pressure the employee had that day since it was a but busy that day.

I really like this place a lot very friendly staff prices are reasonable and a huge selection of birds I recommend that you stop in and visit the birds at this place it is very impressive. Im sure I will be buying a bird there soon I just havent decided which one I want.

5 STARS!!!! I was here from Arizona and Bolero Birds is one of the nicest bird shops Ive seen. Great selection of birds from small parakeets to many different Macaws (including hybrids) as well as Tucans!! Store size isnt that big but they make a great use of space. It was nice to see the big birds out of the cages instead of all locked up. The birds feathers are in excellent condition and poop looks like what a healthy birds should look like. I also noticed the owner feeding them fresh fruit in addition to seeds and pellets. No wonder why their plumage looks so healthy!!! A lot or shops Ive been to feed either seeds and or pellets. They can also ship to different states which I may take advantage of. Its a little hard to take a Macaw on a 5 hour ride home when it wasnt planned for.

I really liked this petshop. The birds are in a clean safe environment. The owners take care of their birds. They are very legit. If you need to Zelle them money its safe. They do take payments on their birds. I just got me an African Grey, and I am very happy with her. I recommend this spot to anyone looking for exotic birds.

I put $200 down payment on a Red front parrot, I was given a business card with a number, same as the one listed online. NO CALLS WILL GO THROUGH. Dont be surprised if your bird is sick like some other reviews mentioned. Honestly, the lady working there was pretty nice but it is so dusty and crowded in there. Cages should be cleaned daily if you have that many birds in a tiny store. I read that someone got their new birds wings cut there too. They should know NOT to do that. If your bird were to fly away, it wouldnt survive because it wouldnt be able to get away from a predator easily(bc of the cut wings). It seems like they dont know how to properly take care of their birds. The cages are wayy too small for each Bird and the place is dirty and dusty. If you buy from them , do it because you want to rescue the poor bird from that small and enclosed space. I wish I could say good things about this place, but this is no environment for a parrot . Please inform yourself when buying a bird. They each have personalities and deserve a good home .

We were really sad , then when we called the store , we called the store and they told us that they are going to call the owner and call us back , but they never did, the owner never even care how is that happened, and he told the front desk lady that he is not responsible after we walk out his store. This is not acceptable any store that they sure that they followed the right steps and they are sure that their parrot are healthy, not going to worry. But the store they are not.

Sold me a beautiful hand fed baby ringneck who we fell in love with and who became a beloved member of the family only to find out that he has beak and feather disease and we have to either put him to sleep or watch him suffer while his body tries to fight off the virus. Seriously. Look up beak and feather disease. Its awful. They dont stand behind the health of thier birds and should be put out of business. Now they are trying to say they never even sold me the bird. Thats just bad bad bad business. Never buy from a breeder with a no return policy. Just means they know they dont take care of thier birds and dont care about them.

Beak and feather disease - vet necropsyBought a Ringneck from these people paid 650.00 for a male white Ringneck. 3 weeks later dead in the cage. Took it to bird vet and did complete necropsy and diagnosis was beak and feather. Went back to tell them his wife said they didn’t sell the bird to me. She was the person who took my cash. I know several people who bought birds from them. If you buy it from them do the best multi diagnostic test you can buy. Then take it home. They need to be put out of business!

I bought a green check conure that was 3 months old 2 weeks ago and what a loving bird I am so happy.

This place is jock, they have no knowledge about the bird, also the bird in the store are infected with virus, we bought parrot from the store few days ago , then the parrot seemed very quite, and when we asked them why the parrot is quite? They replied with that is normal, we did takes home , then later on the parrot wasn’t look normal, so we decided to take it to the vet , to found out that the parrot was very sick, so we paid $1000 for vet , on top what we paid for the parrot , the day after that the parrot was dead , we called the store to late them know , and they told us this is not their responsibility and the store manager do not want to talk to us to explain why his parrot was sick, the front desk lady told us that the owner he do not to talk to us. Not recommended this place.

What a huge improvement from when this was Janes Birds. Though I didnt buy today, the guy gave me plenty to think about. And there us a sense of organization and neatness that didnt exist when it was Janes.The employee was friendly and knowledgeable. He was also busy cleaning cages (which I never saw when it was Janes) but made sure that I knew he was available for questions.One more thing. They had soooo many beautiful birds available.

Has a good selection of birds and you can also find some hand tamed ones, the prices are also very fair compared to other pet shops. The store and cages are also kept clean, with the birds in healthy conditions!

Went in looking for a cockatiel for my sister. And the lady was very nice and informed us that they are out of meeting season and then showed us around other birds that she thought would be great. We walked out with a yellow sided Green cheek conure. She clipped her wings and told us everything we needed to know!! Thank you so much!!!

Bought a $3000 Rose Breasted Cockatoo. Next day took it to the Vet and it had pneumonia, which resulted in a $1000 vet bill since it was a baby. Went back to the pet store to request to be reimbursed for the vet fee since I had the bird less than 12 hours since the diagnosis. The owner said the best he could do was $400 in store credit. I asked for the vet bill in total to be applied to in store credit, to which the owner said $400 is the best he could do. They do not take good care of the birds or customers and I dont want anyone else to have the same experience I had!

Went in to look at a Ringneck found one I liked $799 told the guy I would be back tomorrow with cage, came back next day was told $899 and Bird wasn’t really ready for another week do to they were still force feeding what I call it the way they care for birds. Anyway went to pay for the bird with my checking card was told if you give me cash won’t charge you tax. I don’t normally carry around that much cash. I left to go get the cash and thought something doesn’t fill right. I didn’t go back and never will.

Wonderful selection of birds and great service! The employees were very kind and helped us find the best bird for our family. They gave us lots of helpful information. They have finches, macaws, conures, cockatoos, tiels and amazons.

Great owners, very friendly and amazing bird selection

The owner (he called himself the owner, not sure if this was true) seemed nice at first. Offered an owners discount. But when I was looking at the birds, they all seemed super twitchy and scared. The owner then asked if I wanted to see a conure, and I said sure. He opened the cage and just grabbed the bird with very little regard. It was very forceful. Maybe thats why the birds are scared. He kept insisting I hold the other birds and he tried to grab for them but I told him no thank you. We left.

Very helpful! We just rescued a 6 month old baby Indian ringneck parrot. The previous owner had died. In the animal shelter with going to euthanize it. So my wife and I took it in, not knowing anything about this bird.I went to Janes Birds for some clues on food, and behavior. And was greeted by a very helpful young lady that was very knowledgeable about Indian ringnecks. And I left feeling confident and excited about a new life journey with a beautiful bird. I will be going back to the store, and I definitely recommend Janes Birds to anyone!

Business that look only for profit never grow, none of attention at the store, nobody have real deep knowledge of business and of birds, when you get there you will see. I dont go again. The client is the boss , we just trade place of spend money, and let bad places close thats how work.

Rude!!!! Me and my boyfriend came in to check out some birds, I used to have some when I was a little girl and I wanted to see if they ad the same type of birds I used to have. After JUST BARELY getting in the store she looks at us and says “can I help you?” And I said “Hi we’re coming to look at some birds” she didn’t say anything... we were looking and my boyfriend was in love with this white colored bird and we were talking about it and we come around the corner and she yells out “CAN I HELP YOU?!” And I just said you know what No. have a good one.She’s just rude as hell for no reason. If your reading this try changing your attitude! And approaching people in a nicer manner! Every time I come over in this side of town that store is ALWAYS EMPTY AND DESERTED with no customers and I always wondered why if there’s such pretty birds in there...now I know.. definitely won’t be back

After 10-15 min of looking at the small selection of birds, not one person attempted to greet or talk to me. While browsing, they only spoke to me afterwards to ask me if I could help them move a huge freezer into the back of someones truck. Terrible customer service
