You know youre in the right place when you frequent an Asian supermarket and you are the only Occidental in the place.Island Pacific has all things Filipino specifically and Asian generally.I love fresh fish but the local supermarkets just dont cut it. Thats why I drive to Island Pacifics seafood market. They have everything I want packed fresh under ice, from the exotic to the mundane.I discovered salmon backs there. There was a queue to get to the bin so I knew whatever it was had to be special. Salmon backs are just that--the back side of the fish. There are plenty of bones. However, I have never tasted salmon that sweet. Yes, sweet. Definitely worth the battle of the bones. I am now hooked. You can keep the salmon steaks!You pick out and bag the seafood you want to buy. Then you take the bags to the worker at the end of the meat counter to weigh and tag. There are instructions posted so read carefully. My first visit was confusing until I knew the rules.My favorite fish restaurant in Aruba is Zeerover. There you buy whole fish the owners caught that morning. Then the chefs flash fry them. Thats what they do at Island Pacific Seafood Market too. At the fish weigh station you can pick from six different ways to prepare the food. (My favorite is garlic.) Then the chef flash fries the whole fish while you wait. Just as good as Zeerovers.I never shop there without having the chef fry me up lunch.THE best seafood market in the Southwest also has a great selection of fresh beef and pork products.The supermarket has everything you need to prepare Asian food--from woks to vegetables. As you can see, I am intrigued by quail eggs. What do you do with quail eggs?This is the place to buy green tea ice cream....The Seafood Market has its own restaurant in the front of the store. There is always a line every time Ive been there.Tuesday is seniors day.The only problem with the place is its popularity. You get in a single-file line to check out. Sometimes that line wraps halfway around the store.But I keep going back, so its worth the wait.

Great selection of fresh produce, meat cuts and fish. Enjoyed the variety of Filipino delicacies. There is a section for cooked food either done in or take out. Price is very reasonable. If I lived closer I would patronize this spot more often.

A taste of back home. Has some of the stuff I really loved. Just four stars because it is always crowded and carts werent in the best shape. Prices are: $$ but understandable because most are from the Philippines.

This place has got everything if you like Filipino/Asian food. You can eat there if you like and the supermarket has everything Filipino. The price is reasonable. The restaurant has a wide range of choice but not for vegetarians. The vegetables have other seafood or pork. If only they have the option is same items without pork, it would be awesome.

Have to be careful about baby bangus with vinegar, salt and garlic. It’s not fresh.

Need friendlier more pleasant&wholesome cashier check out, price tag must be charged the same not raise price at the cashier!There are some mold in the sweets deserts&some to tough&chewy old to eat.Must sell only fresh food especially when you overcharge or charge too high/overpriced.There are never any sale items worth buying from the store. The food at the food court is expensive¬ hot(cold) also not delicious.The bakery is fine but don’t overcharge on the one’s with stuffing.If it’s not fresh,delicious&affordable then we definitely are not patronizing that place.Make improvements and progress. I would make more purchases at that place if and when it gets better. I’ll find out and hear about it too.

I am so glad this restaurant was finally put on the “DIRTY DINING” twice even! Wow! on all their locations. About time they got caught. They all need to go to class on how to handle cooked food. Ever since I knew bacteria was written all over their foods. 36 demerits. Reported the highest demerits. OMG! They need to check their meats also that they sell. Three times I had to return some meats because it smells so bad. I wonder how many times they refreeze them. I just don’t trust that place. I would put zero star if I could. I’m sorry but the owner go to class also and need to require up to date health card before hiring anybody. This is not Philippines!

Its a nice Filipino store. It is small and the place isnt what youd expect if you go to American grocery stores. It is fairly small but has food on site including fresh baked bread. I highly recommend the bakery there as the bread is cheap too.

We do not appreciate having fish fried, waited 25 minutes then somebody else took it home. We were empty handed after waiting that long. The lady cashier gave it to somebody else without a TICKET Number.THIS IS NOT THE WAY BUSINESS IS DONE. WE DO NOT GO BACK THETE ANYMORE. I was very impressed with the layout of the store and the variety of seafood displayed. Spent close to $100.00 on seafood alone. Also like the variety of fresh veggies. Bought some fresh fish and was amazed that my order was cleaned and processed in less than 15mins. Im looking forward to my next visit.

This is the place to go if you want Filipino food. Its good if not busy but the line is crazy long during busy hour.

Much nicer workers than at seafood city also they had an array of fresh fish on ice, the place didn’t smell “fishy” and also was very clean. If you’re a fan of ube they have multiple forms of ube including purple ube condensed milk! Super fresh mushrooms and produce as well as large selection of seasonings and sauces

Stay away from the pastries/delicacy stand by the entrance. They sell overpriced inedible food. I bought their bibingkang kanin and was so excited. Turned out to be hard as uncooked rice and super dry. I also bought pan de coco that didnt have any filling inside. Ridiculous. If you crave for those delicacies, just go to seafood city instead. I honestly felt robbed here.

Kind of hard to get food if you are not Filipino. The aunts don’t speak much English. I wish they had descriptions of the dishes in the line. The food was good. I like to get fresh shrimp and let them fry it up.

Location is perfect, in the heart of the West side. They sell varieties of Filipino food that you dont find anywhere else. The way they set up the store is nice, you can easily find items that you need. They observe social distancing.

Lady dropped tongs used to handle raw fish on the ground and she looked around before placing it back with raw fish. I went to grab it and give it to an employee saying it was dropped on the floor. He holds onto it for 3 minutes looking at me to leave before he puts it back AGAIN but in a different section (hope you didnt get raw salmon on 2/24). Tried to get an employee to contact the manager but no manager was available. Terrible to see such little accountability

This location is usually always busy. I only gave 3 stars mainly because of the lack of customer service that is provided here. It would be nice if one was greeted as they enter and also if employees would smile more often. I know just how it feels to work in a position where it can be overwhelming and stressful, but employees have to remember that it is because of customers that go there to shop and spend their money is the reason they are able to get a pay.check in the 1st place. Its a great Asian/Filipino Store to find things that are only found in such stores but there are just some things that are way overpriced compared to other stores.

Kinda not bad, great selection of Asian food items and they have a butcher and small eatery that cooks your fish for you. Only issue I had there was the cleaner they use to sanitize the floors made me feel kinda sick. But great place, great prices, awesome staff! Definitely be back there soon!

This is Asian store specifically Filipino store and if you cant speak tagalog youd be lost. Overall the store is clean, if you want to buy meat like pork or beef this store is cheaper than other Asian store. They also sold fresh fish and the price is average. They sold a ready to go food and also cake and cookie

The store has a wide variety and selections of Asian and Filipino goods. Their pork and fish sections are stocked with fresh and good selections and cuts. Not so much with the beef though. Very friendly and professional staff. Price wise, it is very competitive and even lower than some bigger Asian grocery stores. The store gives out 12% Senior Citizens discount every Tuesday for all items. They also have a restaurant that serves excellent selections of favorite Filipino meals.

This was a go to place for buying a variety of fish, meats, and Asian foods,however, I gave it a 3 star rating because of the cramped shopping aisles and the Spaghetti Bowl traffic jam check out area were everybody is in everyones way. Its been real, but it wasnt fun, bye.

I purchased fresh fish from this grocer, and a side dish from the in-house restaurant. The fish was super fresh and the side dish was fantastic. Also, the attendant offered me a pork skin.... OMGOSH, I devoured it in my car. It was absolutely delicious 😋.

First of all this is not Asian this is Filipino and that means you can have everything. First of all they will fry and clean your fish just for the cost of what it cost and the prices are not outrageous. In fact theyre pretty good. Plus you can find rare to find items to impress the most picky epicurean.

I love different types of food but today I said let me go in there when I seen i could a fresh meal I was thrilled. Food is amazing and price was affordable. I did look at groceries on the pricey side but people who are complaining if you want simple groceries go to grocery store not filipino/Asian grocery store.

Needs a lot of attention to details...seaweed salads are placed in nasty boxes, no gloves for picking up seafood and long waiting in queue due to shortage in cashiers

Was putting together an online order for pick up and noticed at the end they were charging NV sales tax (8.375%) on all food items (groceries). I believe this to be wrong and I hate to think how many arent noticing this. Tried to call them for clarification, all I got was a busy signal.I know these are tough times but this is unethical and illegitimate. Other grocery stores arent doing this.
