This place is great, Ive never seen so many different things to buy in a pawn shop before. The man who assisted me with buying my jewelry was amazing, his name is Davron. He was extremely friendly & knowledgeable. I cant thank him enough for all his help.

The reviews that initially gave this place one star are absolutely correct. This pawn shop definitely preys on the weak. I brought a brand new pair of Versace sunglasses (never worn, perfect condition, still in the box and everything) and I was offered a mere $50 when the glasses are worth $300! I immediately walked out. I refuse to settle with a store that cons people. I wasnt expecting them to suggest such a poor price. I wont be returning there.

I went in for the first time, & yes they had great designer selections. I was planning on selling my bag & or see what kind of loan my bag would get me. One of the employees wanted to give me $1000 for my Christian Dior Saddle when it was worth $4000 in Las Vegas In Perfect Condition with no wear & tear which shocked me so I left, I tried coming back for a second time & then they offered $700, same guy was there I talked to the first time mind you he didn’t recognize me so I reminded him of what offer he had given me. I guess he got scared since his manager was next to him to make it right. They didn’t care at all when I caught him trying to haggle me.So Be Cautious don’t get scammed out of your luxuries this business makes a lot of money & there offers are mediocre.

My husband ordered a pair of sunglasses from their website 2 days ago, a pair of Ray Bans. He received them in the mail and they were a totally different color and were not even branded. The picture was a smokey color Aviator pair with a clear Ray Ban stamp (unfortunately we forgot that you cannot just trust that someone, especially a company that has been in business for 50 years, to send you exactly what the description is). They were prescription at that, so evidently not what we ordered. I called them and they told me that they are not sure how this happened because it is a stock picture and everything they post is pictures of what the item is. He said that they have a bunch of sunglasses there so we could come check them out, so we took the 20 minute drive and when we arrived I explained everything all over again, showing the picture on my phone of the order it should have been, and not a $5 pair of gas station sunglasses. I told him they were not what was listed and he looked at them and said They are Ray Bans as if I was a moron. My husband then left not even wanting to give them any business there after. When you have a business, you make it right by the customer. You want the customer to be happy. I wouldnt be surprised if they are doing this on a normal basis just to see what they can get away with. I thought that you werent supposed to argue with a customer, especially when the picture is clearly not the item in front of you. FALSE ADVERTISEMENT

Brought in a handful of items that I inherited to loan as times are tough during this covid epidemic. I was reluctant to not have these in my possession even if it was just for a month or two; however I really needed the money.After several minutes of inspection, I was notified that the items were authentic, however they needed more time for research, as the price range varied from $1,100, to $1,800 each. I was told to come in the next day, and I would get loaned a minimum of $800 per item. I did as instructed and made the grueling drive the following day, the employee that helped me the day prior had today off. The other employee (who witnessed us debate on price yesterday) told me that the items were not authentic and would not accept the items. I attempted to explain to her that I was here yesterday and an agreement had already been made... she still wouldn’t give me a loan.How professional.Thanks Max Pawn for having me waste my time. I writehope I don’t run out of gas on the way home.

Unfortunately today was a bad experience at a place that has been pretty consistent over the past couple of months. Anytime a manager is overly rude and unreasonable one might assume that they arent as well suited for the position of authority or that they are letting personal issues effect the way they treat clients. I am leaving with a very bad taste in my mouth after being told to come back today with specific instructions by the team from yesterday completed. My time was wasted. My questions went unanswered and to top it all off an older gentleman took an ak 47 off of the wall and walked towards the counter in an attempt to intimidate me. I am shocked at the unprofessionalism and the complete disregard for a repeat clients satisfaction. With everything going on in the world right now. For that old timer to unnecessarily pull a high powered weapon out as he did honestly has me angry and completely shocked. I cant believe this guy has a job. Im sorry but I cant believe that just happened. I am not comfortable leaving this how it is and I am owed an apology by this company and I hope that they consider the seriousness of what just happened and do exactly that.

I was so happy with the variety and cleanliness of the store.The staff was super friendly! They have high quality name brand items for amazing prices. I even came back to do a Golden Knights player signing. Even with how crowded it was the staff had such a good handle on it and it was great being able to browse all their awesome items while waiting.

Such a great store! So many pawn shops carry used junk but not here. They always have amazing merchandise available that looks brand new. They are also my favorite place for Vegas Golden Knights player signings. It takes longer than some places but it is so worth the wait. You really get to spend decent time talking with the players.

Only been here 2 times. The first experience was brief and at the end of the day and I am glad I didnt let the lack of attention that day keep me from going back. The second visit was every thing I want in a store experience from the second I walked in and treated like an old friend to help finding a gift for a hard to buy for family member through the attention to detail and great attitude and customer service I was experiencing until I left happy and satisfied with the cost to value and friendly exchange from the personnel who made sure I left with my gift, gift wrapped and beautifully presented at no extra charge. They were busy and I felt like I was the only one in the place that mattered while finalizing the purchase. Go today and be rewarded with a great experience.

This place is a complete joke. The manager had a nasty attitude towards us. They told us to clean a certain spot on our shoes and to come back the next day and we can make a deal. We live on the opposite side of town and when we showed back up today she told us she’s not taking them like the shoes were any different from before. She raised her voice and got loud at us very nastily.Don’t ever listen to them if they say do something then come back. NEVER COMING BACK HERE AND ILL TELL EVERYONNNNEEEEE

Beyond reproach! I have worked in customer care for years. I know what to look for and I only give accolades when it’s deserved. Everyone there is top notch. It’s all about the customer experience there!When you add quality merchandise to that and great pricing, you will always generate loyal, and happy customers for life. Worst pawn shop in Vegas. Young kids behind the counter who dont know how to properly appraise items. The young man left with my item in hand and visited with another cashier for about 3 minutes. Then finally he asked another cashier what she would offerand came back and told me he could only give me $30. For an item I paid $400 for a couple of months ago. Thats not even 10 percent of its value. Went to another pawn shop and got almost $150 for the exact same item. Not the first time its happened here. A couple of years ago I was offered $20 for an item I brought here, but was able to pawn it somewhere else for over $100. If you need money and want to pawn something, dont go here. Theyll screw you on every occasion.

I am always impressed with their updated inventory. The price points at Max Pawn are extremely reasonable. They pay top dollar for quality items and explain the entire process to their customers. What a joke! Went in with 2 vintage Rolex watches. The place was dead empty which should have been red flag #1. This was the third place I stopped. I wanted to borrow 4K, I had three offers already from three different pawn shops, the local big names. The lowest offer for a loan was $2800 so far for both, highest $3300. The security guy was friendly at least, but the guy who helped was obviously new to the business, which is fine, but he took the watches into an office, came back and quite unfriendly offered $1200 for both. I understand business, and I really understand the pawn business having managed pawn shops for over 20 years. I thought I missed heard him, I didnt. So I went to one last pawn shop who lent me $3800 for both, close enough, it was ez.... I picked my watches up three (3) days later. If I want to borrow money or even ask someone for the correct time of day, it wont be at Max Pawn because they dont know. Stay away. BTW all the other places I went had long lines of people waiting, tells you everything.

Took a 1.5 hour bus ride to pawn an item I have pawned previously only to be told to bring an attachment I didn’t have to leave the last time I pawned. Previous service does not outweigh inconsistencies. Would not recommend even if you call ahead.

The reviews are correct of getting low balled. I took in a 14k gold necklace that weighs 57. 5 grams and got offered a pawn max of $675. I get $900. Plus at super. They must realize that people are not stupid! I will wait for super to open!!!!

This was my first experience pawning anything. I can see why this place has one of the best ratings in Vegas. Steve was very friendly and made me feel very comfortable. If it wasnt for Steve Id only give 4 stars because when I went to pay off my loan my experience wasnt as pleasant.

I then showed him 3 pieces of Genuine Silver Jewelry that I purchased from Pagoda at the local mall. I showed him a 26 inch thick rope chain necklace that I paid $160, an 8 inch thick matching rope chain bracelet, I paid $60 for and a thinner necklace with a Silver Cross I paid $40; totaling $260 retail plus tax.He looks at it, then weighs it on the scale and the total weight was 63 grams, about 2 1/4 ounces.How much are you looking for? He asks.I was literally broke and was just looking for some pocket money till payday.Only $50, I said.I Cant help you, he replied.How close can you come? I asked.His so called MAXIMUM OFFER was....are you ready for this - $20 bucks!Out of desperation I asked him if he can go to at least $25. He then shook his head and said No.In essence, for $5 more he now lost a future customer for life and God knows how many more after they read this terrible review!I found Max Pawn to be nothing but a Total Rip Off!

We got my engagement ring here for an amazing price and when one of the pieces from the halo fell out they replaced it with their in house jewler (and quickly so I could get my baby back!). I walk in serendipitously as I have never heard of this business, and I must admit I could not even fathom the idea of a high end pawn shop, nonetheless I had nothing in mind that I wanted to purchase nor was I looking to shop for anything however Nick toured me around the store and showed me some interesting jewelry, not my taste but the service and knowledge was outstanding. During my last visit to Las Vegas I came across Max Pawn and visited the store for the first time. This is unlike any other pawn shop Ive ever seen! What a great place - my friend was looking for a camera and the sales person was friendly, knowledgeable and even encouraged to go online on our phones to check out the various cameras available so my friend could purchase the best one. Horrific guest service. 3 people in line one by one denied any cash for valuables. Items in store extremely overpriced, and Javier was the highlight of this so called world famous attraction. Brand new mac book pros with touch bar is only 200 dollars on a loan. I gracefully declined and will get spare change to pay off my bills. Customer service non existent here.

First off I was very welcomed as soon as I walked in today was asked how can we help u and everyone in the shop is very nice number 2 I sold a few items that I got a very fair price on. And they do work with u on the prices for my items. Unlike superpawn they just low ball the hell out of u on the items your trying to sell. Thanks so much max pawn and I will be back again.

Ive visited Max Pawn quite a few times and I have always received great customer service. Ive purchased a few luxury items from Kierstin, who I might add is wonderful, and I am happy with every purchase. I would recommend Max Pawn to anyone who is wanting to purchase quality items at discounted prices with great customer service.

At first I received great service and James is wonderful at negotiating. He seems to maybe not like talking to customers because I felt like I was bothering him by asking him questions. But irregardless of what my perception was at first, he ended up giving me a good deal on my LV luggage. I left satisfied. While there they even (unofficially) authenticated two LV bags I had purchased pre-own. One was authentic and the other was a replica.But this second time I went in to try to sell my LV items I was turned down for two of them and offered a really low price for the other two. The guy who was inspecting it didnt really know much and had to concur with a lady behind the gun counter. Never again will I com here.

I was looking to sell my headphones at this store. Customer service seemed respectful at first but gave me prices that were completely unrealistic. Buying my headphones for $50 - $70 and doing a mark up to $200? I dont even receive 50% of what it costs used. This review wouldnt have even been made if the employee working on 7/8/2018 at 4:50 PM just said Youre Welcome to my Thanks for the help man. This guy didnt even say goodbye and just hung up the phone. For all companies that are running out of business because they cant compete with Amazon, having your employees work on their customer service and business etiquette could be a start.

Yelp needs to allow ZERO stars. Their customer service is BS. My husband bought me a coach purse there. Big mistake. I go to use the purse and the zipper is broken. And it is missing the shoulder strap. I couldnt even use the purse. My husband tried to return it or get at least store credit and their response was, if the yellow tag isnt intact on the purse- theres nothing we can do for you.Who gives a purse to someone as a gift with an eyesore like that on it. I call the them and the salesman will dealt with my husband, told him it was okay to remove the tag. Andy. He got so rude and sarcastic with me on the phone. I ask for a manager. Steve. He was not wanting to hear what I had to say. He accused me of yelling at him to which I said, telling the truth is yelling? I told him he knowingly sold a defective purse and does not care.This is how they treat a member and family of law enforcement.Lesson learned. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM.
