I had approximately $55 in store credit. I stopped in and asked if the lady could check to see my credit balance . She told me there was no more in store credit . I told her I had approximately $55 in there last month and she said there was a change in ownership. The new owner( her) “emailed” out a letter stating that you had 2 weeks to use your credit and that was approximately 3 weeks ago, so I’m sorry. I told her that I never received an email that said this and could she please check her system. She assured me she didn’t have ANY financial records of previous credits, but was able to look up my name, phone number and email apparently. The email on file was 1 letter off, so that would explain why I never got an email. I asked her why she didn’t text me?? Or call me? Or even mail out a letter? She just said she went off what the old owner told her was his email list. I nicely told her that really wasn’t fair, as I had things in that store STILL for sale. She just looked at me and said sorry. So, I was really upset and waited months before I posted this. The new owner seemed like a nice lady, but while I was in there before asking her to check my balance she did nothing but talk trash about her landlord with another customer she knew and she even had her young son in there. I don’t know what I expected, but that’s basically theft as she made no attempt to contact me except an email that was entered wrong... she was still selling MY items in her store and refused to budge. I will NOT be back.
Clean, well organized consignment store. The staff is pleasant and easy to work with. Great variety.
