Took my boat to lakeland desperate for a fix for my fuel problem and they took full advantage of me. They ended up replacing a bunch of unnecessary parts that were working perfectly fine (A single fuel line, fuel filter, float switch and wire for it) & replaced them with parts that were dated from 2005, 2006.Lakeland returned the boat to me with the same exact fault code & issue that i brought it in for. After calling and explaining it has the same issue they said I was going to have to pay more to get the issue fixed (we had already paid $1200, $750 of it was in labor!). Seriously do not take your boat here unless you like getting bent over.

They are looking for fast cash grab before this place goes out of business. DO NOT pay them in cash! You will have zero recourse when you discover that they have NOT fixed the problem and overcharged you 5x for parts and 5x for labor!

Called to get scheduled to bring my boat in for servicing the gentleman who answered and introduced themselves as the owner laughed when I said I want to bring my boat in for service saying “yeah dude no way I can get your boat in till September” , okay so one don’t call your customers dude, two don’t laugh at them when they have money to spend, simply say I’m sorry we are fully booked 🤦‍♂️Learn some professionalisms you pleab, because of the lack of respect I’ll be taking my hard earned money else where I suggest you do the same unless you want to be treated poorly

I took my boat to lake land couple weeks ago, I requested to fix the outboard was not shifting to reverse. Lakeland charged me $200, but when I went to pick it up. they said it will over heat, since the line that circulate the water to engine was not aligned. I was wondering sine they removed the outboard, why they did not place the line in the position, which it would take 5 minute. They also said, go ahead take the boat and it may not overheat. In addition they gave me a long list of replace/repair items that was not necessary, the items equate about $2500. I told them I will bring the boat back after the week end. Sure enough the boat over heat shortly after I run about 10minutes, as a result, picking the boat was waist of time. Following week, I took the boat back, and I request t do full service on the outbaord. few days later I went picked up the boat, I had one run on the water. The boat fail to go fast (35 mil) but was able to slowly bring the boat back to the ramp. I called Lakeland and I told then the simptom. The technician was very rude, and stating, we suggested to change your clutch, steering cable etc, you did not wanted to do that since we recommended. It seems like all Lakeland want to do to create heavy labor part replacement without any reason, just to recommend high labor cost items without any technical justification. Since I did not trust their judgment, I called a online part house (SEI). Once I explain the symptoms, he said is not your gear, cable or anything that Lakeland recommend to replace, It is your propeller hub. Sure enough he was right, the cost was $50 and once I replace it the boat ran great. I want people to know Lakeland Marine in Lake Havasue City, AZ are very dis honest and un professional and huge lack of customer service. It appear they just want to build heavy bill. Never do a service without going back, they never stand behind their work. I thought if I speak to the owner (Ricky) it would make a different. He only said I will talk to my technician to learn what happen. Did not mention anything that he will get back to me. I paid over $1000 twice drove the boat about 40 miles, I though I am taking it to a reputable marine shop. Never again.

The worst repair shop Ive ever been to!!! First repair was $1,000.00 and not fixed. secind repair was 2,000.00 and still not repaired and they wanted tocharge me more on top of that!!!!

These people are sales man. They will rip you off and try to sell you a pile of unnecessary repairs and then do lousy work to draw you back and do it again and charge more. Do your research. Ask around at any other boat shop and they will tell you, in a round about way that this pace will rip you off.
