I bought a phone there had a problem with it and after talking to the manager she said she would exchange it due to extenuating circumstance . She was very helpful and professional Ty I recommend them as a great place to shop and good deals to be found

Called about sheets. Went to pick them up and asked the price since there wasnt one on there. I let the manager know there were two or three in a clearance section. She responded in the nastiest way, pretty much yelling, saying I dont care that doesnt mean a customer didnt put it there. Just rude and nasty for no reason at all. Im sure corporate would love to hear how staff is running their stores.

Disappointed the last few times Ive gone. The staff is helpful, sure, if helpful means theyre willing to ring your stuff up and cash you out, But (as soon as you enter the store) you have to listen to their gossip about other employees and customers, the store is always messy when Im there. Vulgar language doesnt bother me per say, but I dont believe every minor should subjected to it loudly while in the store.Time to clean shop and try again?

I forgot my mask at home, covered my face with my sweater and was planning on buying a mask to shop with. The employee started yelling at me about needing a mask at first sight. As I tried to explain that I would like to purchase one I was repeatedly interrupted by her about needing a mask. I turned and was walking out and she was still yelling with increased volume and attitude. Worst customer service ever. I get it people are afraid of the virus, if you are that scared then stay at home and dont bother coming in to work. And definitely dont be rude to a customer I mean come on you work retail.

Absolutely the worst manager by far! The store is constantly unorganized and never clean , once youve made youre way through the dump of a family dollar then youve got to wait up to 5 minutes at the unattended cash register for the manager to come over huff and puff and tell you her whole life story,and how she hates her job! Wheres the corporate complaint phone number!

I dont know why that man lied about homeless and addicts hanging out side of store in the years I have been going there I have never seen that. I do think most of the staff need to get trained better on customer service most are unfriendly the older women who works there is great.

I am so glad there is a new manager here. The staff is friendly you can get power chairall over th store now. My wife tried to find a place in that store that herchair could not go now there is none. It is actually fun to shop here now. Thank you Holly.

The store is great, its the staff that were the problem. I dont know what went on between them earlier but there was clearly an issue as they both kept having a go at each other and looked miserable and annoyed. My attempts to lighten the mood were ignored making me feel slighted. As I left one said to the other since you like to shout at people why dont you tell me in a loud voice in front of all the customers in line. Very unprofessional.

This is for the employee named Holly! This is the closest family dollar to my residence. My kids and I (usually) love taking a walk there to do a little shopping. However, today was the worst experience Ive EVER had there. First off my kids know what to touch and not to touch and we like to pick up litter if its safe, my son picked up two coffee cups that were on the ground outside with my permission to throw them in a garbage can, there was no garbage can outside so as we walk in my son asked if she could throw the cups away, her reply was no and that he should just go put the cups back on the ground because around here it was probably a crack heads coffee cup. I was livid considering children are only 8 and 9 years old!! I will never spend my money there as long as Holly is working there, she should be ashamed of herself!-One Mad Mother-

This place is just weird plain and simple.

They have really nice crackheads (laconia natives) working the registers...I would recommend this Store to anyone that doesnt mind dodging the rusty used serringes that the homeless man greeting you at the front door hurls at you when you resist his sexual advances. But If thats not your thing you can always park your car in the slums and sneek past the toothless panhandler through the ghetto fabulous back door...the possibilties of contracting hepatitis are endless:)
