Got my chain saw serviced here. I was a little worried when u went to pick it up as the quote was different from the total I was charged after a very brief and pleasant discussion with the manager Rick they adjust the price to the orignal quoted price. Very happy with the service and thankful for Rick taking a minute to chat.

Friendly employees and a decent selection of flowers and vegetable/fruit plants. The inside seemed to be very disorganized and seemed like it needed a little attention to put things back in their place.

Loved this place ! Unique things and beautiful plants that are so healthy ! Got this adorable solar sun stake.

Had what we wanted for a reasonable price. Customer service was not good. Unfriendly. Guess it was their time to clock out and we were in the way of that happening sooner.

Great nursery lowes and home depot didnt carry individual small plants but Mayo did.

Called looking for a part for a lawn mower, was put on hold for 10 minutes. Called back, asked them to page parts, still didn’t pick up. Obviously don’t care enough for your business to pick up the call. Won’t ever go back here, due to there lack of customer service. Not recommended. Prices way too high anyways!!

Great local garden center.1. They have seed, 2 yard tools, 3 watering apparatus and much more. Lots of 4 lawn power tools, 5 just about any type of home garden use item, 6 and a repair shop.

If its about the backyard, they probably have it. From seeds to grills, bird houses to trees and a nice selection of it all.

I bought a nice statue today and they put it in my car for me because it was fairly heavy.

Fixed my weedeater. Took a little while. Plus if I had not called it would still be there because they forgot to call me.

They are a good garden center. Just dont ever dare ask anyone for help. The 2 separate times I needed help finding something I got treated like I was such an inconvenience. The first time I got waved in a direction with its over there somewhere. The second time I got directed to what I needed with such a large sigh I thought she had sprung a leak!

Rick and his team always make sure our lawncare company has what we need.

What a fantastic garden center! I am from Cincinnati, we were visiting my son for Thanksgiving, and went there with his family to get a Christmas tree! What a great selection, and a very helpful staff.

Shopping today was not a pleasant experience because of the customer service. The second location has much more pleasant employees who are very helpful!

I went in to get a chain for my chainsaw and all the employees were standing around talking to each other. 10 minutes before they closed all of them got up and walked outside except for one girl who directed me over to a guy that have been playing on his phone the whole time. Both of them were about as useless as anything. I go back to the maintenance department and that guy back there was about clueless on everything also. They ended up not even having a very common chain. Their customer service that day was probably the worst Ive ever seen. Everybody just stand around talking to each other and ignoring the customers on the floor

We bought a beautiful pot at the Mayos Garden Center West. Morra was a wonderful help, and they repotted our peace lilly.

Did not have anything we were looking for. Such as patio set. Limited selection. Dethatching rake. None.

Bought a replacement Stihl part and an early blooming magnolia tree. They always have a good selection of stuff.

Rick in the parts department is a top shelf individual.

Mayo Garden Center is a great place to shop for outdoor plants and supplies for Spring and throughout the year.

Decent selection, with prices that vary from fair to quite high.The biggest problem is no real care for Covid Prevention. Multiple employees and customers not wearing masks inside or only putting one on once a customer comes very close.Shop here at your own risk.

Some stuff is really pricey but they have more variety. With their basic stuff, like seed starting trays, Ive saved money going with them over the box stores. Plus theyre nice and they help you find what you need.

Ive been doing business with this place for years. Its gotten much better since Steve was bought out. They carry a wide variety of equipment, one of the best parts counters around and they have a good supply of mulch products.

Want to give a huge thanks to Rick and the shop crew here. You all had empathy and understanding in my situation and got me in and out with a mower repaired in less than two hours.( note: that i was lucky enough to catch them at a slower time and that played a huge part in this time frame.). You all have no idea how appreciative I am. Keep up the good work and hospitality fellas. Thank you!!!!

I dropped off my Snapper Pro walk behind to have a carburetor replaced and a speed control bar replaced and its been there for a whole month and theyre still waiting on parts!!😠 I wouldnt recommend Mayo Garden Center West if youre looking for maintenance in a timely manner! Im still waiting on my Mower and getting really tired of calling and hearing were still waiting on parts not to mention they had my mower for 9 whole days before they even ordered my parts I am not a happy customer and there will not be any more money spent with mayo Garden Center West

Mayo seems to be one of the few places to get specific parts for small engine repair. They are very pricey when it comes to both service and parts. It also seems as though most all if not all of their furniture and Home Decor is way overpriced. They have a great selection of plants and flowers and vegetables when theyre in season however I go to Lowes or Home Depot when it comes to something like that to get a better deal, much better deal.

My wife and I have been picking up herbs, flowering plants and shrubs this spring at several places, but weve had the best luck at Mayos. The prices have been great, the stock hardy, and the help exemplary. We stopped on Saturday to shop. A gentleman by the name of Will helped me pick out some beautiful knockout rose bushes and gave me several tips on producing good results. Thanks, Mayos. Well be back!

Horrendous customer service - unfrienfly advice on the phone first but nonetheless I went anyway to shop. Once in the store the customer service was worse in person. I almost walked out without buying. I bought but will likely be a very long time before I return.

Very expensive on about everything

I dropped off my mower 2 weeks ago to have it serviced. They charged me nearly $400 to change the fluids and sharpen the blades. When I went to pick it up, some part, probably a linkage, was left disconnected and it wouldnt even move. I was informed that none of the mechanics work on the weekends so it would be Monday before someone could repair my fixed mower. This is unacceptable. Not only did I have to pay exorbitant fees, I now have to make multiple trips across town

Its a perfectly good garden center. They didnt have the extremely obscure garden tool that I want.

Im not going to rate the store itself which I think is over priced compared to say Lowes or Homedepot on similar lawn and garden type products. I dropped by on a Wednesday with three lawn mower blades to get sharpened. They said they would have them done by Friday in two days. I was in no hurry and stopped back by more than a week later (a week from that Friday) and they still were not done. Really how hard is it to sharpen 3 blades? They called me the next day and said they were done. They charged me over $30 to sharpen 3 blades, no discount for my wait. I could have bought comparable new blades for that. Im all for supporting local businesses but not if they have poor service and charge unreasonable prices like this.

Its hard to go to a place that wants that much money for their stuff when I can go somewhere else an buy the same thing for less an buy more stuff while Im at the other store too!! Beware of Service Center! Purchased velkie that broke within 3 months of buying from them. Service center said Mfg wouldn’t cover repair and they charge me for repair. After I contacted Mfg, Mayo never filed warranty claim. Took 4 months to fix velkie as the repair was assembled wrong, not fixed completely and Jimmie Dickason (store manager from Mayo) refused to give me refund. Will drive any distance before returning to Mayo for a purchase!
