I called them and within a few hours they had someone out working on my door. The fix maybe took them 15 mins and even went above and beyond and greased the track too. Outstanding service.

This was our first experience with Overhead Door Company. If I could give them 10 stars, I would.Called them on Monday to inquire about an estimate on repairs and possibly replacing 2 doors.Within an hour, got a call back from Josh (salesman) to schedule an appointment. He came out the very next day (Tuesday) at 9:00 and was right on time (maybe even a few minutes early) and he made excellent recommendations. He said we didnt need to replace our doors but just needed some maintenance. He promised that their scheduler, Matthew, would call us to set it up.Matthew called within a few hours and scheduled us for 9:00 the next day (Wednesday).On Wednesday, Allen (service tech) was early and was excellent in every way. He was very knowledgeable about what we needed in terms of maintenance and repairs.The charges for parts and labor were also exceptionally reasonable, in my opinion.We will definitely use this company again based on this experience.Thanks.

Bill was a huge help! I didn’t even spend any money at the store but he pointed me in the right direction and gave me advice on what I needed to do. Spent 15 minutes just helping me out and looking things up. When ever I need service or a new door I know where I will go.

The Overhead Door Company will sell you new garage doors, of course. But before you spend big bucks for new, try getting your old doors fixed. For $145.00 I had Overhead fix the huge gaps in my doors which were allowing little mice and cold air in. If you want the very best service call them and make sure you are speaking with, Kim. Do not talk to anyone else until you talk to Kim. Trust me on this. Kim will bend over backward to help you.

They fixed my garage door and 2 years later I found out the spring they replaced was too small for my door so it failed. Not happy. While Alan did a good job at the time the work did not last and when I called for an appt I was told it would be weeks before they could come out. So I used another company who fixed my broken opener.

*Overhead Door came to our Residence within 1-hour, and had scheduled us within 24hrs! We had a Garage Door Emergency, and our vehicles were locked in the garage; a coil-spring and pulley needed to be replaced with new parts. We couldnt of asked for a more professional repair. WOW so quick. Our garage door spring broke yesterday and I called about 9:30a, at 12:15 the tech shows up and by 12:45 he was driving off with our fully fixed garage door working like new. We had Overhead Door install our door in 1997 and this was the first repair needed since the perfect install. Certainly recommend them for installations and repair.

They arrived on time. They were knowledgeable in there work. I will have them come back and replace three doors and my main overhead door. I had estimates from two garage door installers that were a little cheaper but it’s like the old saying, you get what you pay for and I’m very pleased

My old Overhead garage door opener motor froze up and I called for service. Gary was the excellent repairman who came to fix then replace the old unit. He was quick, efficient and personable. The new opener is quieter and smoother operating. I applaud Gary for his installation in a very hot humid garage with a smile on his face and customer satisfaction as his goal. Good Company, great service and product.

The appointment process was v. professional. Even on a Monday morning I was able to get an appt. for Wed. Alan did a wonderful job explaining his assessment of the damage to our door and how he will fix it. He showed me his work when he was done. The cost was reasonable. This is the only garage door company I will call in the future.

The technician that fixed my garage door opener was very professional and had a good sense of humor.The only concern I had was the $230 charge. The majority of this was for labor and $50 for the circuit board.Previously, I had taken apart the mechanism and determined that the circuit board was fried and had to be replaced. The technician agreed and installed a new circuit board.I asked if they offered any discounts, especially since I determined what the problem was beforehand. Unfortunately, they didnt. The service did come with a 5 year warranty, which is nice.I have piece of mind that I got help from the manufacturer. But that cost me more than if I bought a circuit board online and installed it myself.My advice: get an estimate before you get your garage door opener serviced. Maybe look online for resources on what to look for when your garage door isnt functioning. I didnt do this and wish I had.EDIT: To clarify, the onsite technician didnt give an estimate prior to repairing the garage door opener. He assessed it and did the repair, then I was given an invoice.

Alan did an amazing job! Our door was very loud and sagging in the middle. He knew what the issue was immediately and fixed it in 15 minutes. He was very polite and very fast! He also did a great job explaining everything. The person I spoke with on the phone for scheduling was very friendly and informative as well. Great experience. Overhead Door Company made a rather annoying experience to something positive from the time I made the initial inquiry to the garage door opening and closing,. The day I called, they were able come out right then, surprisingly I wasn’t. They made me an appointment for the next day. Overhead Door Company was on site at the appointment time. The technician gave me a call ahead of time, saying he was in transit with an estimated time of arrival. The technician was polite and courteous. He was in and out in thirty minutes. He did a great job. I do recommend Overhead Door Company.

Ive dealt with two of their technicians (Mike and Alan), and theyve been with the company for 50 years combined! Their Residential Manager, Amanda, is great to deal with as well. Theyre obviously very good to their employees, and its reflected in the customer service they provide. I wouldnt think twice about recommending them.

They scheduled me quickly. they were reasonably priced. another company had said that my door would have to be replaced and Overhead was able to repair it. the serviceman was very knowledgable….he caught another potential problem and replaced a small part that could have caused problems later. I ordered 2 doors to be installed in the garage I am building. One of the doors is 16x14 (with opener) and the other is 8x7. When the initial installation was going to be done there wasnt going to be any electricity to the site as I was working with the city to get power back to the building. I was told No problem - we can install everything and test with a generator. The door was installed, however the opener wasnt. I was told they had to come back out because it was too heavy to install with ladders and a skylift was required - I would have though that this would have been knowledge that they had. They installed the opener - but did not install the pigtail electrical connection, electric eyes, or the wall switch and could not have tested the installation. After several calls on my part (no initiation on theirs) still no resolution and it has been a month. The other door was initially a low-headroom, but because I installed some rafters above it high enough to accommodate a regular track. Several trips out to get the door right - one whole morning with the installer talking with home office because the spring was wrong. They told him to just release some tension, instead of getting the correct spring. That didnt work and so he left and returned today to put on the correct spring. That door is working, however, since they didnt need to install the low-headroom tracks, I should have received a refund as they are more expensive - no outreach from the vendor to correct or complete the installation of the large door. I would go with another vendor if I had to do this again. I just disputed the charge for the doors, perhaps that will get a reaction and some corrective action on their part.

Sold me the wrong size torsion springs and they wouldn’t return them... $100 down the drain. Ended up having precision garage door come out and fix it and very happy...Ok if they were “CUSTOM” cut why were they to long? I would think “CUSTOM” cut springs would be the same as my old ones which I even brought you to be sure I’d get the exact same springs I was even told they were to long but should still work... I had to have another company instal springs because these were not the proper springs and the other company would not install them. Also I wasn’t told I couldn’t return them

Overhead Door did a wonderful job at replacing both springs on my garage door. I priced around some other companies and they had the most reasonable price and were able to come out the very next day to take care of my broken spring. They offered to come out that very same day, but I did not have enough time to deal with it the same day. The technician arrived a little earlier than expected, which was great for me. He diagnosed the issue and recommended I replace both springs instead of just the one since there was a high probability the other would break soon as well. The technician was very nice and professional and it only took him 30-35 mins to replace both springs. He assured me that my garage door was in great shape now and showed me that the door was opening properly before he left. He asked me to call them if I had anymore problems. I will definitely give them a call whenever I need more repairs in the future.

I am disappointed. I called a couple days ago to set up an installation of a control pad. I gave all the info required to a lady in the office. I was then transferred to a gentleman to schedule the installation. I explained to him that I was only off Monday and that I would need to schedule it that day he took all of my info again and told me he would call me on Friday to schedule a Monday installation. I never heard a word today. I called at about 450 and apparently got an answering service. This person took my info and said she would page someone and have then call me. Needless to say, NO CALL. I am just disappointed as I will now have to wait until Monday to see if anything will be done. If anyone from this business reads this I hope they give me a call. Your office personnel and answering service have my contact info. I will update this post on monday.Colby called me Monday morning and apologized for the snafu. Overhead Door Company of Knoxville offers excellent service and products! Their job was to install a coil that had broken causing our garage door to not open. We had an old heavy garage door and after several attempts to connect the part that lifts the garage door, they had to install a metal plate. Because of this, many holes had to be drilled in order to install the metal plate. Overhead decided that this made our old garage door look terrible (which it really didnt - nothing could have made the old door look more terrible!) and offered to replace the entire garage door at no extra charge. WHAT GREAT SERVICE! They showed up a few days later to install the new door quickly. We would definitely use them again!

We have built 3 homes over the last 20 years. We used Williams Door Company in the first 2 homes. We never once had to call in to service or fix our garage doors or openers. With Overhead Door we have had to call at least 4 times in the past 6 years. We had to replace the motor after the first 18 months. Just tonight the middle Door spring broke in half!! I have quit calling this company for service because I have always been treated with disrespect and them not standing behind their product. Do not use this company. The worst experience.

We purchased our garage doors from this company for our new home 4 1/2 years ago and have had to call for service 4 times. First time was within a year of install and product was under warranty but of course we had to pay for the service. Next 3 times for the same issue garage door closing but leaving a 2 inch opening at the bottom. We have had to pay for all 3 service calls and guess what issue still exists. When I called to complain to manager he was rude and took a attitude of so sad too bad. We have built 4 homes in Knoxville. 3 of the homes we purchased from Williams Door Co. Not one problem and not one service call. Lived in our 2nd home for 12 years with zero issues. Think twice before purchasing product from Overhead Door Co. Poor Product Poor Service
