Department store located on the first floor of West Town Mall. Their apparel selection feels a bit conservative. Wish they had more contemporary apparel in stock. There’s a Sephora inside JC Penney, but it only had a limited collection of perfumes.

Horrible experience at the sephora at this JCPenney. I wanted to return an item that I got at the Turkey Creek JCPenney Sephora. Apparently, the barcode on the receipt had been torn off when the employee at Turkey Creek gave me the receipt. The woman at West Town told me that she couldn’t return the item without the barcode. I asked if she could look it up by my credit card and she said no. I asked if she could return it by using my beauty rewards card and she said no. I’ve worked at Sephora before and I know for a fact that you can look it up both of those ways. She had a bad attitude and acted like I had done something wrong. I will NEVER shop at this store again.

Always love shopping here because they always have good sales and each time I shop I find what I wanted. Clean store and fast checkout.

Love their Arizona brand... such cute tops. Hard to find pants anywhere in the store that fit curvy women (and Im only a size 6). Cashier was so incredibly nice though, wish I got her name.

I will always be a Pennys shopper, I have worked for them several times in the past and I just love the way I am treated there.

How management thinks its a good idea to sign people up for a rewards program at the registers during a tax free weekend with only about half of the registers open is beyond me. Adding to this is a large number of discounts not properly ringing up and a multitude of different discount structures that confuse customers at check-out. Wait times at check-out were insane! Got in a line in 2nd place behind a family. Waited 25 minutes through all of the above issues plus a manager call and a register reboot - all of this while we stood there in disbelief.

Its a mess. Finding something you really want is like shopping in old K-Mart. My guess is they dont have the staffing to make it look nice anymore

Great place to buy for my wife, dad, and the family! I recommend it to anyone needing school clothes or just shopping for the family! I will come to buy more! The store is clean and a fun atmosphere. Not to mention west town is awesome.

This is one of the few J C Penney stores that Ive visited recently that was a really nice store. Very good selection and very clean.

Photography studio was excellent and photographer worked with our family extremely well!!!

Shopped the girls department today and was very disappointed. It was very messy, unorganized chaos in one large section. Unfortunately, it was too unorganized to actually enjoy browsing the racks. I hope for a better experience next time.

JCPenney has been around for many years. You can always count on great service from the salon and selection on mens clothing.

JCPenneys is always been one of my favorite places to shop. I found a beautiful red lace dress that was on sale and Im really happy with it.I had received a gift card years ago that I had forgotten about and when I tried to use it it wouldnt work, so the cashier was able to get the manager to come and take care of it so that I was able to use the gift card. Great place to shop.

Clothing in general is higher than the past. Sale items here are awkwardly priced. For example, the same style sweater in different colors were all priced differently. However, one can still find good sales in the clearance section.

1 dressing room open. A 15 MINUTE WAIT JUST TO TRY ON 3 DRESSES. And I felt horrible cause there were a gaggle of girls trying on prom dresses. Not only that, but then the escalator to get up and down busted. So there was another line to wait for the elevator. JUST TO GET BACK TO MY CAR. Hopefully they can get their act together.

I shop quite a bit at JCPENNEYs but recently I have been disappointed in their womens clothing options as the selection has gotten smaller. I went looking for a dress to wear to a graduation and the pictures attached show the small limited selection of women dresses. I asked an employee if they had more options in a different area and she told me no. I still like and enjoy JCPENNEYS, It would be nice if they started offering larger selections of womens clothing instead of less...

The store is nice and the people that work there are nice and that makes me happy.

I love shopping at Jcpenney but unfortunately the nearest location is an hour away. This is a nice huge location with a sephora. The employees are friendly. The store is clean and organized and they have a ton of brands to choose from. Will shop here again if Im going that way.

Limited selection of plus size clothing. No plus dresses! I returned clothes I received for Christmas with the price tags on them, and got half the price of then because I didnt have the receipt. If I had known that was the policy Im not sure I would have returned them.

Open up some fitting rooms .. 1 per floor is stupid ... and if we are down stairs looking at boys paints .. I should not have to go back up stairs to the only mens fitting room

My wife ordered 2 packages of t-shirts and the cashier ordered the wrong size. We live about an hour and a half away and when we went to pick them up we didnt notice that they were wrong. When we got home my wife called the store and asked if they could please order the correct ones and we would come in and exchange them. The cashier was rude and when my wife asked for the manager she refused to put her in touch. Finally she put the phone down on the counter and my wife could here her giving similar customer service to a person at the counter. After over 20 minutes she picked the phone back up and was surprised when my wife was still on the line. After so more back and forth the cashier hung the phone up on her.Well... my wife called the 1 800 number and was treated well and they even delivered them to the house for free.A few days later the store manager did call and apologized (somewhat).Today we took the wrong shirts back and while standing in line we saw an air fryer oven that we were interested in and the sign on the shelf said 99.00. We attempted to purchase it but it rang up 149.00.Apparently the sign was for something else that was sold out. No biggie we said thats okay. But the cashier put the sign right back where it was.She seemed like she could not have cared less.My wife and I both have strong retail backgrounds and it seems that customer service at this particular store is somewhat lacking.Merry Christmas.

Jcpenney was always nice but not too expensive. They always let you stack your coupons and get great deals. It kept you coming back and spending more and more money. My family was happy to do so, but after a few bad years they have lost their identity.You have some people who know what theyre doing, over shadowed by people who cant put your phone number in the system properly. The separation of internet sales and in store service is so bad, it might as well be a different company. You cant buy anything full priced cause its marked up WAY to much. And the coupons that used to make that work dont exist anymore. Jcpenney get your identity back or just close!

The associate working near the junior department asked if I needed help. When I told her what I was looking for she stopped what she was doing and searched through the entire womens department trying to find the white sweater I wanted. I didnt find one that was exactly right but I really appreciated her effort. It was very nice to encounter someone who cares about her job and would go out of her way to help a customer. I just wish I had gotten her name!

Great people work there. They are very friendly and go out of their way to help you. The sales person went back to the store room and found the grinder that I wanted and took the time and I told her that I would come back but she said for me to wait and she went back and looked and bought it up in about five minutes. Great sales people.

We got there 10 min before closing on Black Friday. My daughter was looking for a handbag and found 2 right away. She bought them. We were on line until after the store closed and the cashier was really nice about it.

My husband can never ever find jeans to fit. This was like the Mecca of jeans! AND this is beyond important,...every single jean was in its own section, clearly labeled, the jeans were stacked with the long label on the edge so everyone could clearly see what sizes were available. And each color pattern was put together too!!!! The organization was stellar!!!!!!!! We were a long way from home , and we knew hed not get another chance to score this many awesome jeans, so we left with 6 pair of jeans. I think if he ever changed sizes or when those need replaced, we will just have to go back. No where has been so well stocked with a huge variety for all ages, with so many fits, and so well organized. Whomever coordinated that section needs a raise!!!! No where, not even their local competition or their store in our home town compares!!!! Best place for jeans hands down!!!!

We went in for the Cooks smothie maker, the clerk directed us right to the Housewares Dept & there they were & still on sale! Reg $50, got it for $17.99!! Weve had the same Brand & style for several years & we literally wore it out! We were very pleased to find the same one still in stock & On Sale, too! This is a nice store with Mature & Experienced Sales Associates!

It appears this store in general has gone down. Prices have gone up tremendously and variety has gone down. The only good thing is their end of the season sales which can be pretty good if you catch them at the right time.

Great big and tall selection and prices. Always leave with an armload of clothes. All the sales they run make nice clothes affordable.

Very well prepared in terms of safety against Corona and nice staff.

Very convenient parking in the back. Also the reps were very nice and quick. Picking up my own order was very convenient, just be sure to have photo ID handy. Also if you have to return it goes to the same register. I recommend using the retail me not app for deals if you dont already have coupons. Will definitely order online again!

I use to love this store but its becoming a joke. Customer care is not like it use to be. The escalator has been tore up forever which is a huge inconvenience for a guy since mens is on second floor. I recommend going to Turkey Creek location instead
