THEIR ICE CREAM IS TO DIE FOR! I had them do individual ice cream scoops for my wedding and everyone went crazy for them, every flavor was so delicious, it was so difficult to narrow our choices. Came back the next day too, so yummy!

I wanted to love this place but from the lackluster or near no greeting to being charged 55 cents for 4 ice cubes it left much to be desired. I guess I wanted too much as being in the south I figured some type of greeting upon entering or even nearing the counter would be standard. I had never been so after looking decided on a pecan covered candy apple and a cup of ice. I’m giving them 2 stars instead of 1 because she did offer to cut my apple. This she had pink hair…I don’t know her name…no tag. She was dry and rude. I was fine with the 55 cents charge. I wasn’t alright with the literal 4 ice cubes (cup wasn’t even half full). I asked for more since I had to pay and I got 4 more cubes. I was polite start to finish. She on the other hand was not. Even my daughters noticed. Anyway, apparently we have one in my city but won’t go back there when I’m in Knoxville again. There were about 4 employees there standing like robots. The energy was just off in there.

Delicious vegan / dairy-free sorbet flavors! I’m used to a place only having one not so great vegan option, but these were both delicious. They tasted like real fruit. I’d love to see a vegan ice cream flavor like chocolate or vanilla in the future!

Ice cream is always terrific, service was lacking tonight. They were super busy, and the guest in front of me didnt get what she ordered, but took it politely. Hopefully next time will be better.

The staff was great and the chocolates and ice creams are yummy! Staff were super friendly and made the experience even better. I ordered one of every truffle they had (except for dark chocolate) and they were AHMAZING! The fudge is to die for - it just melts away in your mouth. (I got chocolate, Maple Walnut, and cookies and cream). Definitely wont hesitate to return if Im ever in the area again.

Just attempted to stop at Kilwins on our way walking home to our loft. Were informed that they closed in 10 minutes so it would be best if we didn’t come in. We just wanted to grab a snack to go and are regular customers given we live a block away. Being told we can’t enter because you’re closing soon isn’t exactly a business model that leads to long term success. It appeared the last employee that told us not to enter was far more concerned with flirting with a guy on the sidewalk than serving a repeat customer during business hours. Cruze it is from now on.

Best Ice cream in the whole city of knoxville. From the entrance you smell this decadent aroma of fudge that drifts through the room. The waffle cones are made fresh everyday. You cant go wrong with any of the ice cream flavors and their fudge is out of this world.

None only is the ice cream excellent but their caramal apples are superb. Lots of ways to get them, peanuts, cashews, walnuts, chocolate drizzle and much more.

Kilwins has the best ice cream and I dont have to fight the traffic to go all the way to Gatlinburg! High end candy also. So if you are looking for a gift this is the place to go!

I was visiting Knoxville so my first time there. It was very busy but the staff was very friendly and fast. The different types of ice creams, fudge & other things made it very hard to choose. Hailey was a sweetheart & suggested the bear claw. I went with her suggestions. My boyfriend got lemon drop & blue moon. Both of the ice creams were very good, soft & smooth.

Very friendly staff, offered samples on the vast ice cream selections. A little pricey but the portions are very big! 🤤😋 They actually have the true “Superman” ice cream!! Do yourself a favor and check them out.

Love going to Killwins. We have been to the one in Gatlinburg and also Destin. This one is the nicest one. Very happy that this place has an assortment of Marzipan available, which is, believe it or not, hard to find in east Tennessee. Store is very clean and they make their own fudge. What is not to love. Highly recommend.

Great place to visit if you’re just looking for some quick and easy ice cream. They have a majority selection of chocolate flavors, but with summer approaching, I went with Georgia peach. It was mildly sweet, refreshing, and had large pieces of real peach.

Even though its winter, I still enjoyed the ice cream. And they had a special on their homemade fudge.

Came today and got a quart packed to go, and it was not even filled all of the way. Outrageous that this happened considering the quarts are not cheap. The girl who packed it was also very rude about having to do so.

The owner of this location is the best he is kind and keeps his word on things. The Ladie that works nights could use some customer service education but other than that this is a pretty good place most all the others are nice people!

Either the milkshake machine is always down or they just say so because they done want to make one.

Great ice cream but questionable cleanliness. The young lady serving us did not wash her wands before she started to prepare our food and we had to ask her to put gloves on. The outside of the shop is a little run down and not kept clean at all. But the ice cream itself is very good.

We went here after Cruz Farms refused service because we medically cannot wear masks. We are so glad we did because the ice cream is even better and they offer so much more. They were happy to serve us without a mask.

Worth the drive... so, would you drive 30 minutes from home just to get some ice cream? You would if you knew how delicious Kilwin’s is! Once my wife and I heard that they finally put a Kilwin’s within a short drive from our house, we knew life just got a little sweeter, and no let downs here! I had a scoop of the marshmallow smore and a scoop of my favorite raspberry sorbet in a waffle bowl — TO DIE FOR! Honestly, I sorta wish the whole thing was the sorbet in hindsight, but the marshmallow smore was super creamy and marshmallowy delish! Can’t wait to go back!!!

Its a little more pricey. But the ice cream is EXCELLENT. A the lady helping was very sweet. Also had some outdoor seating in the back that we enjoyed. Although it was just sitting outside, not much of a view.

The employees really seem to love their jobs. Everyone is super friendly and as soon as you walk in you get a friendly welcome and they offer you free samples. It could be a teeny bit pricey, but totally worth it.

Excellent ice cream shop! Ive gone twice and both times gotten waffle cones with creamy style ice creams. First I tried the New Orleans Pecan Praline, and second I tried the chocolate chip cookie dough. Both were incredible! Honestly some of the best ice cream Ive had, although Ill admit Im not an expert. Prices are a little bit on the higher side, but for the quantity and quality you receive it seems fair. Expect to spend 5-6 dollars for a good sized waffle cone with a single (massive) scoop.I havent tried any of the chocolates Kilwins sells, but if the ice cream is any indicator, they should be excellent as well.Lastly, the location is super fun! As far as Knoxville goes, Gay street and the surrounding area is about as hip as it comes. Definitely a good location as other activities like the movies, quality restaurants, bowling, and an escape game are all nearby.

First time buying here. Had a wonderful ice cream cone. Chocolate Coconut. It was delicious. Only issue was my order was wrong. Ordered 2 scoops but only received 1. Cashier went over and got my other scoop: it was busy. Pricey but worth it as occasional treat

Kilwins is a fantastic addition to downtown Knoxville! While most customers will probably go straight for the ice cream selection (and for good reason), the fudge options should not be overlooked. They have some of the best fudge anywhere to be found!

The Ice Cream is hands down the best Ive ever had when you go in the staff greets you and welcomes you and the environment is nice and cold in the dreadful summertime and good and warm in the winter...now let me tell that the price isnt for the faint of heart it is a little expensive but man its WORTH IT...you cant go wrong TRUST ME.

They have assorted chocolates, fudges, ice creams, and other desserts. I usually wont give 5 stars after 1 visit, but the service was great, the people were very helpful, understanding, and patient(with multiple ice cream test tastings). Their ice cream was outstanding. Im going back just to try the blueberry wafflecone flavor. WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK.

Ice cream here is VERY yummy and their selection of chocolates and other snacks is great. You can also access the store from the Promenade Parking garage so you dont have to walk all they way to Gay St to get in there.

Sat down for a minute while waiting for family to finish up next door and was told that I couldnt sit in the patio because it was for paying customers only! It was the middle of the afternoon and there were no customers at all so it wasnt like I was taking anyones seat. Went inside to buy something just so I can sit there. The nut cluster was ok.

Great place and the best fudge

This shop is better than the Cruz farms across the street yet people wait in line there. I dont understand why people would rather eat their soft serve when Kilwins has such high quality ice cream. They use fresh ingredients and have lots of other chocolates and fudge. The candied apples look amazing! I bought some of their fudge to take home... expensive but worth it...I even put together a white elephant gift with their products and people fought over my gift! Go here for ice cream and go back again for the fudge.

I have never had the person whom I was buying ice cream from insult my flavor choices before, but that all changed when I came here. Listened to her rant, was glared at, Ive never met someone more rude. Like its just ice cream. Its not like she was eating it. I was. Even the cashier was rude.. Will not be recommending.

Made a most difficult decision between Lemon sorbet and dulce deleche ice cream. Lemon won. Now I wish I could go back and do it all over again.

The selections of icecream, fudge, and other tasty desserts is amazing. Definitely a good stop if youre wanting dessert downtown. The sea salt caramel icecream was amazing, along the the chocolate covered pretzels with pecans I got. Definitely recommend this place.
