Interesting afternoon. Greg was a lot of help. We didnt get a truck like we wanted. But we did get a decent van. We thought. They are very up front about sold as is. But I really didnt expect to have transmission issues right away. And I dont care if Tennessee does not have a lemon law, they should not be allowed to sell any vehicle with cracked windshields, or busted headlights. That is one reason why we couldnt get a truckWay too many problems!

Greg at the lot tried really hard to get me financed but It wasnt an easy task as I dont have the best credit but he was professional. I just found somewhere that had an easier time financing me with my credit problems. The only thing I dinged them on is I feel they want to much down even with my credit problems. At various points I had 30-35% down and it was still a problem for them to finance me. But as I said, I didnt give them an easy task. If you have decent credit this would be a good place to find a car.

On 5/18/21, I purchased an RV from Carmart South at their Oak Ridge, Tennessee, location, although the date on the paperwork that I signed says 5/12/21. I had to drive from Winchester, Tennessee, three hours away, to Oak Ridge, to sign paperwork, and then to Lendmark in Knoxville to sign more paperwork for my loan, then back to Carmart South in Oak Ridge to pick up the RV. The purpose of me purchasing this RV was for a job I was hired for in Montana at Glacier National Park. I was supposed to be in Montana by the end of May. Marty and Julie at Carmart were aware of my situation, and never once did they tell me they don’t mail tags and registration paperwork. I had to resign from my job in Montana because two weeks later, I stopped by the local courthouse and the clerk still hadn’t received tags or any other paperwork. I thought it best I wait until I had the tags before I left for my new job, and I’m so glad I listened to my intuition because a couple more weeks go by, and again, I contacted the local clerk—this time, by phone on 6/21/21. Nothing. No paperwork. So, I called Carmart the same day, 6/21/21, and couldn’t reach anyone. I called back the next day, 6/22/21, and spoke to some woman, not Julie, who told me that she would have to check with their processing clerk and call me back. She called me back on 6/21/21 and said that they (Carmart) actually have the tags, but they don’t mail them, and I would have to come pick them up. I told her I’m not making a six-hour roundtrip drive just to pick up some tags, and they should’ve told me that when I was buying the RV. I asked her if the tags were filed in Knox County or with my local county clerk, and she said they filed in Knox County because I have a loan with Lendmark, who is also in Knox County. The woman at Carmart told me she would call me back the next day to see about mailing the tags, which would cost $15.00. Personally, I don’t think I should be required to pay $15.00 when I’ve already paid $20,000 for the RV, and they didn’t care that my tags expired (as of 6/17/21). Nobody bothered to call me and say come get your tags. I had to contact them. The woman never called me the next day. I thought that maybe she was being nice and went ahead and mailed my tags and registration, but when I still hadn’t received them as of 6/30/21, I called Marty, the salesperson who sold me my RV, on his cell phone. He asked me about Montana, and I told him that it didn’t work out because I couldn’t drive up there without tags, and that I was unaware they didn’t mail them, according to the lady I spoke with previously. I also told him she never contacted me again, so I was hoping he could help because I wasn’t going to drive six hours just for tags. He kind of chuckled and said he would see about getting them “approved.” As of today, 7/17/21, one month to the day after my tags expired, and two months after I purchased my RV, I still haven’t received my tags and registration. I’m paying for a vehicle I can’t even use, all because this shady, so-called “Christian” (they like touting that moniker, but no Christian would behave this way) dealer can’t get their act together and send some tags in the mail.I’d encourage anyone else who has had shady dealings with them to file complaints with the Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance, who regulate motor vehicle businesses, as well as the Better Business Bureau. And then, of course, leave the one-star reviews on Google and Facebook. It’s ridiculous that it’s come to this, but I’m tired of waiting around when it’s obvious nothing is going to be done. My next step will be to hire an attorney.

They sold me a vehicle that the very next day after purchase would not start because of unknown issues they r not wheeling to help I’ve had it in the shop once for almost 2 weeks and it’s about to be put back in and I’ve only owned it for 1 month now and the repairs was not my fault and the car lot admitted it was but I’m responsible for the cost of the repairs this is a horrible place to get a vehicle I’ve asked for help and they r not willing to help I’ve been late for work multiple days because of the issues with this vehicle.
